@@yayahicks3829 Maybe they can make an all girls baseball league someday similar to the WNBA. But they'll never be able to play with men if that's what people are implying by saying they can play baseball. Baseball is too complicated of a sport and men are just bigger, stronger and faster. That's why they made softball for women since it's easier. Which is why by the time high school comes around women transition into softball because around that time boys start to gain an advantage physically. Not trying to sound sexist, just realistically.

Them boys rock!! It would be emotional abuse if their dad say something like, she's my daughter I can say what I want to her.... yeah, no!!
@@LuManKrix No, it's not but he's putting the other child in their place saying that to them. If your dad is in the wrong, then he's in the wrong. (Not particularly your dad) I'm saying any dad who would behave like the dad in the video.
@@iLoveStaletortillas The acting is a bit too obvious. That combined with the way the actors directly ask strangers for a reaction makes for some cringe moments.
why is nobody talking about the dad and daughter. they both shared their wisdom, and honestly, when his daughter showed her how to play, the smile on her face made my night sm better.
I started hockey at 7 years old... on a BOYS team and was the goalie. I was NEVER once told I can't do it as a girl and I was their favourite goalie. I STILL play to this day and I'm 20 years old.
I wouldn't be surprised if you're not still competitive even as the boys turned to men. Women have great flexibility and movement in their hips and their main athletic disadvantages, explosiveness, is pretty null when you're almost the size of the net.
The way the teenage boy said “BRO” to the dad was worth a thousand words! Those young boys were raised right and should be very proud of themselves for defending a fellow teen
That is actually a great comment if you refer to generations and letting kids do what they want to do, rather than the particular day this was posted. If you refer to generations, yes you were on time for letting girls play, and play sports that boys do. Well done.
as a girl who plays baseball with boys, i love this idea. girls can do sports just like boys. i’ve had many people doubt me when i played baseball, luckily my family was very supportive, but sometimes i have to prove push myself harder to prove that i’m good and i can be just like boys.
But guys aren't to play softball with the girls it's not matter wether you can its the hypocrisy that women should get to free from gender restrictions but guys must keep them. If guys can't play softball then girls shouldn't get to play baseball
Bryson Simmons it’s weird, there isn’t a softball league where i live, and my dad practically forced me to play baseball with boys instead since most girls would be too scared to play. but yeah i get where you are coming from. also the league i’m in, there is no gender restrictions, and since there was no softball league, this was all i had
@PROXY ehhh at the top of the top yes, but the average athletic advantage males have over females is only about 12 percent. The reason you see it so starkly is when everyone is at the same skill level physical advantages begin to truly matter again. When it comes to the rest of us 7 billion people its obviously going to be much more muddled and messy, and you will see girls do just fine against boys in sports more often, because when you're an average athlete you aren't crazy like the world record holders or the people that beat them. Especially whenever it isn't some sort of super high level competition we should see a lot more mixed gender sports. Sports are for fun anyways
I experienced the same thing, I had to take dance for 6 years until my mom finally convinced my dad to let me play soccer. It’s ridiculous that people are actually like this🙄
@@gamingparadise3390 dude, during the last year we've seen teens going massively in the streets to protest against climate policies all around the world, while adults couldn't care less. Those teens just needed a voice, they are largely ignored by politics and older generations, who give them an hard time while not stopping ever to listen to what they have to say.
I hate it when your parents don't let you do what you want, and force you into something else you aren't intressed in then they have the audacity to ask you why you have no friends. They ask you why you aren't out with your friends. It is cuz if you were in a group you were intrested in then you'd find a lot of people like you but if you are the only one that isn't intrested in what you are doing then you will be left out cuz you don't share anything with them. No one wanna hang out with you if they can't share their excitment with ypu and you'd also find their discussion boring. By doing what you like, you will meet incredible friends like you.
Also the young girl at the end. What she said couldn’t have been said any better. She felt hurt for that little girl she said what she said and she meant it!
I never got that why tell your kids they can do anything like some things people just can’t become like 5’0 100lbs girl can’t be a offensive tackle in the NFL she just doesn’t have the size for it A 450lbs sumo wrestler can’t be a Olympic sprinter he’s just too big Some things people just can’t be
At 4:46.John Quiones asks those young boys "weren't you afraid of telling that big guy that?" They looked back at the guy , rolled his eyes and said NO." LOL!
This lesson goes so far. My parents didn't want me to be anyone else besides who they wanted. Therefore, I became a out of a control rebel. Eventually I grew out of that once I moved away from them because I realized I can be who I want to be and I don't need to prove to anyone. It sucks but parents should be more accepting because in the long run, they will maintain a strong bond and the child won't have to pretend to be someone they arent.
WOW! Those 2 little boys who defended her and said, "it doesn't matter if you're a girl."....they give me hope for the future. 🙏They are growing up to be the good, caring, intelligent men that society needs!! Congrats to them and their parents!! ❤❤❤

"If boys can play girl sports, I see no reason why girls can't play boy sports."

Unfortunately most schools around where still do not allow boys to play "girl sports" ie volley ball or softball. Pretty pathetic isn't it.

Lol if I was that girl and some boys yelled “BRO” and “STOP BEING A JERK” at my dad he prob would have lost it in a way that he would be yelling saying something like “IM THE ADULT HERE AND SHE IS MY DAUGHTER” 😂
That's not something to be happy about :( I'm sorry he is like that...that is emotional abuse.

@@LuManKrix them boys were right. I don't believe in kids talking like this to an adult and I'm 25, but when there's a situation where the adult is in the wrong, yeah this is perfectly okay! I wouldn't be surprised if you're not still competitive even as the boys turned to men. Women have great flexibility and movement in their hips and their main athletic disadvantages, explosiveness, is pretty null when you're almost the size of the net.
4:15 I hope I can raise boys like this, how sweet 🥺

That is actually a great comment if you refer to generations and letting kids do what they want to do, rather than the particular day this was posted. If you refer to generations, yes you were on time for letting girls play, and play sports that boys do. Well done.

as a girl who plays baseball with boys, i love this idea. girls can do sports just like boys. i’ve had many people doubt me when i played baseball, luckily my family was very supportive, but sometimes i have to prove push myself harder to prove that i’m good and i can be just like boys.
Thats the way to go
But guys aren't to play softball with the girls it's not matter wether you can its the hypocrisy that women should get to free from gender restrictions but guys must keep them.
That's good, keep it up!
As a girl who plays soccer, this is amazing to see :))

The boys and the young girl at the end, literally brought me to tears-and the advice she gave was definitely the icing on the cake. 🙌🏻

Props to all the young people, it takes some guts to stand up to a grown man at that age.
The kids stepping out to help out was amazing!
