Last time I filmed a video with a boy being bullied. I decided to conduct the very same social experiment but this time I wanted to see how people would react if they saw a girl being bullied in public. The results were surprising!

My son was bullied by kids at church. My husband and I talked with the youth leader and the parents of the kids and had a better experience than we expected. The kids now treat him with respect.

I got bullied in school. Some of the teachers felt that it is fun to join in too. Some days the teacher would pick on me and then the whole class laughed at me. I just cried almost everyday. Nobody stood up for me and I felt alone. Now that I'm out of school. I'm getting cyberbullied every month instead. Some days I'm just tired of the world. I'm just so tired.

Shout out to all of the adults out there who step in to help children being bullied. The bullies automatically wipe that smirk off their face when they’re being confronted by a grown-up.
This made me cry. I was never bullied, but I was also never "cool". This was heartbreaking to watch and even though it was acting I wanted to hug that little girl so tight and tell her not everyone is so cruel.

Stuff like this needs to be shown in schools. Sadly many kids don’t stand up for others. Can you make one to see if any kids will actually speak up for another random kid being bullied? My daughter has been and is still being bullied and I worry all the time for her while she is at school. This video made me cry to think about who helps my daughter when I can’t be there :(

I feel for your daughter. All I can say is save her now. If the teachers aren’t helping then the other scenario that I’ve experienced is the teachers and vice principle join in. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to die because of what my teachers said. But my will to live is so strong that an attempt just fails. Your daughter has my condolences.
This would have no effect on bullies. They couldn't care less. The only thing that'll stop a bully is to be punched in the face. I'm not condoning violence but it angers me to see someone being bullied.

Those strangers standing up for complete strangers are awesome...Even though its just an experiment they did something that all of us...no matter race, ethnicity or skin color should do for each other...
i use to get bullied in school and it was a terrible experience for me. i never wanted to talk about it. i was so used to getting bullied i would stand up for other kids in school who got bullied because i know how it felt. nobody deserves that. people take their lives everyday because of bullying. it’s a HUGE issue and SO MANY people don’t talk about it and don’t take it serious. it NEEDS to be taken seriously. i STILL to this day stick up for people that i see getting bullied. my siblings go through it too and it makes me so angry. PLEASE stop bullying.

I feel...sad for them. Why would someone really happy do something so bad. I don't hate them, but I don't think what they're doing is right. Kids go through a lot, and I think it is their parent's fault. People mistake bullies for pure evil people. But they mostly are sad, troubled people. Kids in my brother's year, when he was in Year 7 always got in trouble because they smashed up people belongings. Later people found out that their parents smashed up their things in front of them. It makes my heart ache every time.
I was bullied through out the whole of highschool, my biggest fear wasn't the bullies, but it was the consequence of fighting back, the backlash, the reaction from my parents. That was the only reason I endured it until the very last day of the semester.
I feel you! I have been there over and over again. No word of a lie. I remember a male classmate, who, after I spoke my mind about a group of people who bullied me, had the GALL to tell me I should learn to be nicer to people! What the hell? Guess what? That "lovely" classmate is none other than Rob Lurie from CTV News in Montreal! Fuck you, Rob!

Teachers are the worst if it's about preventing bullying, I had the same experience... they literally don't do shit and I would've appreciated it if they at least did something. I want all of them to just jump of a fucking building.

Edit: I wrote this because I’ve only ever seen these experiments done w adults n I think they’d jump in situations like these more. I believe the experiment may have different results n reactions when done with teenagers and kids instead of adults, like would they help? Would they speak up or ignore? Walk away? Use violence? Or even record them? but we don’t know. These are probably some stereotypes as to what teenagers n kids would do when they see someone being bullied soo I’d like to see if they’re true or just stereotypes but yea u should try this w different age groups

I taught self defense I started in 1968 up till 2016 and still know how bully's work many kids in Los Angeles c a very serious life out here this video just brings back memory's of kids who came with parents to my school and you could see the fear they had endure well they learned a new way to deal with problem they couldn't wait to tell me how well the system worked there were times where I was called school staff asking what type of confidence training they where learning very happy to help

In my grade school if there was a fight in the school the 6th grade teacher would put the two kids in the gym and get a set of boxing gloves out and say "Here, let's go for it." If the bully backed down he paid for it with detention and push ups. Billy's do not like to be challenged.
There was a lot less bullying after that.

I was bullied in school until my junior year in high school until I met the defensive tackle on the football team. He told me to stand up for yourself and treat people with respect. 30 years, later we’re still friends.

I got bullied in the 5th grade and my bully strangled me and beat me I told my parents and they got pissed off at the school for not doing anything after my school learnt about the issue all they did was suspend her for a week she should be in prison I Still get bullied till this day well not anymore because the coronavirus but I know when I start back school the process is going to start all over again

I seriously wish that those strangers were people that I encountered with back in my childhood. I REALLY do, because being bullied and verbally, physically, mentally, and emotionally abused is NOT okay. It actually takes a HUGE toll on you when you get older, take it from someone who actually has been through it all, my entire childhood, I was nothing but bullied, I was in that sweet little girl's shoes where I was being myself and dressed the way that I wanted to and I was bullied for it, but no one was like these wonderful strangers, standing up for her, making her day a bit better, and sending positivity her way. I didn't have that, but to all of you, male or female or both, who are bringing bullied, or was bullied, don't let those negative people weigh you down, don't let them make you feel like they are true, because they really aren't. You are unique, different, talented, and original in your own beautiful/handsome ways and don't let those negative words define you, for they aren't you, and I hope that you won't ever forget that. Love you for who you really are, embrace what makes you, you, and accept who you truly are, be yourself. Those people who try and bring you down, don't know the real you, only you do, you can only be who you want to be with how you see yourself. I hope you see yourself as a beautiful/handsome, attractive, smart, and wonderful because only you can define yourself and nobody else.
I actually had my “best friend” and her friend throwing a bag over me laughing at me and I think I only realized how awful it was … I literally was crying running towards my backpack… I even think this memory was closed and right now it came up so hard

So there is this girl named Victoria from Latvia that is obviously adopted and she was friends with me and my friend group for a while till she started becoming rude she started wanting to fight my friends and stuff and so popular girls one day drew a picture that was supposed to look like her and it said this is what Tori looks like on it and they gave it to her she was crying and we asked what was wrong and she said that they drew a picture of her she showed us the picture I asked for it and I ripped it up she got mad but I didn't care then I was going to my locker from lunch where we were at the time and one of the girls named Savannah was walking down the hallway and I threw the shreds at her but Tori was really mad but the popular people deserved it what I really wanted to say was is this really what you think she looks like because I think it looks like you or is this really what you think she looks like bc that extremely rude or nice self portrait

I remember this girl people picked on in Middle School. I stood up for her one day. Long story short, I saw her years later working in a Department Store & SHE WAS GORGEOUS!!! She was Stunning!! I told her she was GORGEOUS!! She said "Thank You!". So if you EVER Get Bullied, Just Go To The Next Day! That is NOT Your Whole Life. And those "jerks" will get "theirs"! It's True.

When I was in High school. I got bullied by 3 boys.. All three of them trying to kick my ass.. I stood up myself and took down all three boys.. Teacher came outside and pointing fingers at me thought I did it.. I didn't do a damn thing.. I had to go to court not them...
Luckily the Judge believed me and I was free.. I had 1 week suspended for nothing that I didn't do start the fight. It made me mad and angry that it ruined my perfect attendance. Fuck High school.. I remembered that...

When I get dressed I fall under the “Intimidation” category more than the “Go talk to her” category HOWEVER when I dress down I fall more into the “Damn how you doing” category way more than the “I’m scared to talk to her” category 😂😂😂 Which is why I’m very comfortable with doing both bc I scare myself sometimes 🤷🏽♀️

Getting bullied is not fun. I speak for experience. It messes with you mentally and emotionally... People don't think before they act and speak. This is not a game and it's not funny... Bulling has to STOP! I myself saw a kid being bullied and I made it clear to the bully if he didn't stop I would call law enforcement on him to stop him.. He made it clear to me he understood...

Thank you for posting this! I was lucky! I was athletic when I was young and my father taught me how to defend myself. In grade school the older kids tried to push me around. It did not go well for them. I have also stepped in to break up bullying. I urge parents to teach their children to speak up! Do not accept this treatment. Not everyone can protect themselves. I was bullied all through my school years, it was to the point I'd come home and just cry, my dad tried so hard to teach me how to protect myself , I used to beg God to let me die, watching this shizzz takes me so far back it brings me to tears, I thank God my son was popular but I think he was so popular because he was so small then we moved up north and everyone loved his southern drawl so he never had to live it.

I'm late posting this, but I played both sides. I remember getting picked on by my other classmates and when I got tired of it...I decided to take my frustration out on mentally and physically handicapped kids when I was younger (4th or 5th grade) and now that I look and hear about others going through that it breaks my heart and makes me think about all of that.
Understand. I hope you reflect on that. You were a jerk trying to build self esteem at the cost of others. I did it once. Still bothers me.

Bullying is highly destructive. I can vouch for that because I've been bullied from my childhood from age 8-14 then verbally mocked and laughed at from 15-18 then cast outside because of my nationaly (german living in Switzerland) at 19 years old in College and after that I failed every new friendship, relationship or sabotaged any perspective with any girl because I don't have the social skills that go with my age (now 26 years old). I graduated college at 21 years old but had no one to celebrate with since I didnt know how to keep in touch with friends from that period. So I went in a heavy depression for 4 years. Now I'm out of it, in much better shape, more confident and assertative, however I still have no friends, my weekends are for now, very lonely and I didn't had intimacy with any girl for the last 9 years (which is the hardest to get through). It's not that I'm ugly, it's not that I was akward, I was picked because they chose me, I wasn't particuraly stupid either or lacked physical attributes, I just sucked at soccer that's for sure.
Sometimes you just get bullied because it had to be you. Life isn't fair at all. My bullies are all happily married and have good lives and my traitorous friends too, while I was getting through mud and battlefields, I'm now starting all over again. What you have to fight against, is the desire for vengeance, to go for blood, when you see your enemies prosper and you rotting away, all you think about is blood. So work on yourself and give yourself some love if no one has given it to you.
I was always raised to treated others like you would like to treated . But when I was this poor young lady being bullied by two other girls it upset me . I was so glad that someone help this young lady .
This gave me anxiety. 💀 but like I wish we had more people in this world like these people .

I after reading about people getting bullied I started to love my school cause in my school I have rarely seen anyone get bullied and if someone does the bullies gets the worst punishment possible once 3 guys bullied a junior and when the teachers got to know about this the bullies were punished to apologize to that kid at the stage in front of everyone and also were told to do 60 sit ups while holding their ears on the stage and were suspended for idk how many days. They also got a good scolding from the teachers one of them almost cried
