The best el? I ever saw was a 1968 oldsmobile cutlass with the elcamnio rear clip on it. The guy who owned it called it a vistahauler. The thing looked like it came from the factory it was so perfect
That's in really good shape. I've always loved El Caminos, owned 4 so far, all 73 to 77 years. Sounds pretty healthy too. Having a nice clean engine is good motivation to work on the rest of the car.
@@PhobicsGarage Nice. I love the big boaty 70's cars. I had a beautiful 73 El Camino that ran 12's all night long back in the late 80's. At the time my wife was jealous of the car.....so I got rid of it. In hindsight........oh well, live and learn.
Great
Im restoring a 69 elco
Cool always liked those. Hopefully soon I’ll be getting back on the 70

That sounds like a bunch of work, but a have seen probably 30 years ago now a cutlass with a Chevelle front clip and it looked almost factory

Unfortunately you will see in the next video the roof has more hidden rot holes from old butcher repairs that I never knew was there.
