      It’s a work in progress right now. Not much to show at this time. I’ll do an update after more of the work gets finished. Thanks for watching!

    So what are your plans now? What happens to this area? Damn beavers

    • @LifeOfPaPaMark
      @LifeOfPaPaMark  10 місяців тому +9

      I’m doing a cleanup around the pond. I’m adding a couple of docks and removing trees from around the edge. Of course I’m going to have to bust the beavers dam. They have to find somewhere else to live. Thanks for watching!

    Now to krrp that from falling in I would plant trees or brush o, yhe pond bed. the dug out dirt acts as a manure to fertilize meadows

    Is this pond subject to any state regulations? How many acres drain into the pond?

    • @LifeOfPaPaMark
      @LifeOfPaPaMark  10 місяців тому

      I’m not aware of any state regulations. It is a watershed pond fed by 3 springs with probably 3 or 4 wooded acres draining in. Thanks for watching.

    What model is your Cat miniexcavator

      It was a model 305CR. I rented it for a month to work around the pond and some other projects around the farm. It’s a nice little machine.

    Ummm the muck you're scooping out at 8:00 in is just sliding back down into the pond😮😮😮

    • @LifeOfPaPaMark
      @LifeOfPaPaMark  10 місяців тому

      Because of the reach of the excavator we moved it close to the edge and then changed positions and set the muck up on the dam. From there we took a skid steer and removed it from the dam.

    Why did you drain it

    • @LifeOfPaPaMark
      @LifeOfPaPaMark  10 місяців тому +2

      I needed to clean out the muck and vegetation, make it deeper in places, build some docks and work on the drain pipe that the beavers clogged up. It’s still a work in progress. Thanks for watching!

    Could you please tell me what model of pump you got from Harbor freight? I need to do the opposite I need to Stillwater from a quick to fill a pound

      I used the Predator 2” pump in this video. They have a line of Predator pumps in different sizes. I also bought a 3 inch one to use in the future. I’ve been very pleased with how tough it is.
