This song reminds me of a girl I met in later 1989 on Fort Lauderdale beach. I fell in love with her but it was only 1 sided. 1 day she showed up at the beach with a guy who looked like Mr.Universe. My buddy was a cop who gave me a pair of sun glasses that could look behind. When I turned over after she laid her towel right behind me she grabbed him by hand and gave me a nasty smile. Needless to say I never went back to that part of beach again. 3 years later I was with my new girlfriend when I ran into her and girlfriend at a beach festival. She looked at me and I grabbed my girl and gave her the same smile she gave me. I got even but I still hurt to this day.

Kind of funny how history repeats itself. Many younger people don't remember the Mamas & the Papas, but the two women in the group were Michelle Phillips, mother of Chynna Phillips, and Cass Elliot. Cass was the heavy one that was teased for her weight, but she had the VOICE--the signature sound of the group--and she went on to do some great solo stuff after the group disbanded, and no doubt would have had a longer career had she not died so young. And now Carney appears to be playing that role--the heavy one, but the most talented one in the group. On a side note, everyone talks about how hot Chynna is, but I always thought Wendy was the most beautiful of the three.

It's sad that if she knew the foods to avoid, she would never have felt the need for the surgery. And sadly, the doctors are ignorant, too. +lenspaulding There are lots of people who eat like horses and never gain a pound. She has a hormonal problem triggered initially by eating sugar. It's sad that if she knew the foods to avoid, she would never have felt the need for the surgery. And sadly, the doctors are ignorant, too. If you have these metabolic problems and continue to eat sugar and starch after the surgery you'll remain fat.
