Fantastic video as always! “Wifebeater” shirt made me spit my coffee out - we like to say “suns out guns out” here, lol. When the sun is out you gotta show off your muscles! We’re doing plumbing soon so this was amazing timing for us to watch you knock it out. And thank you so much for the shoutout. We love you guys!
Ahaha yeah it’s probably not the most PC thing to say to be honest 😂😂 you’re really cranking it out with yours, much quicker than us 😂 not sure how helpful it’ll be but can’t wait to see you get yours done! You’re so welcome, we love your channel so had to share! (That coke sponsorship is on its way to you!!!)
Lovely to see you guys this morning. Always fun to watch. Andy, I hope you are ok after your little trip 😢 your leg looked so sore. We went and looked at a bigger van yesterday, travelled just over an hour to see it. It looked promising from the outside, a few little bits needed looking at. And then Lee looked underneath and poked his finger along the seal and it went right through 🫣 It needed welding, which he can fix, but he didn't want to, with everything else that needed doing. So unfortunately, the search continues. As always, we look forward to seeing you in the next one. Take Care ❤
Hey Lisa, yeah my leg took a bit of a battering. The step on the back door is just solid metal with no cover (need to remove it) so when I slipped it was a bit messy! All healing nicely now though. Oof, that van you looked at sounds like a lucky escape - welding is a big job but the bit that would worry me is how much more rust needs to be found and treated. Make sure you share some pics when you get the van, send over on instagram.
Cheers Rob, means a lot hearing that. We have had to revisit some of our earlier work, it was pretty awful and noticing it is a sign of how much we have learned. ❤️
Wow she's really coming on now, feels like you are on the home stretch to me! At this rate you'll have her done and usable for a proper sleep over weekend trip easily by Christmas! All the best guys, keep up the good work! 😊
Thanks so much for continuing to support us! Yeah I think a Christmas trip is certainly on the cards. The minor issue is the cost of some things we need, mostly the Truma - expensive buggers!
@@lifeadventureprojects I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys! Ha. If I'm right in thinking that's a water heater, canp stove and kettle is a perfect work around for food, washing not so much haha but that's why wet wipes exist so if needed you can get a festival wash 🤣 There's always a work around, and good to know incase the tech goes wrong, but I get not everyone is down with roughing it a bit lol, just really wana see you go on an adventure in it, even if its not perfect. All the best with rest of the jobs on it!
Sophies skills are awesome now too , as i suspected. cutting those shelf bottoms .... bravo! all looking really professional in there guys , you're going to have such a wonderful van when its complete. still so amazing to see you guys come on so much in such little time. love it. and , am i the only one to notice the company name of that waste water tank?? lol apt, to say the least.
Hey Jon! Great to hear from you again mate and for the kind kind words! 😂 the tank certainly was more cak after I was done it! 😂😂 Yeah Soph smashing it out the park! ❤️
Haha thanks Kevin! We aim to make people smile if we can! It has been a lot of work to this point, but seeing it coming together now is so rewarding. We should hopefully have another one up soon (this week 🤞🏼) thanks for watching!
Perhaps fitting a heated jacket or insulating the grey water tank to prevent it freezing if the weather turns cold? Just an idea but I've seen it done in a couple of van builds. Great job guys, very envious of your lovely van!
Yayyy ! I was looking forward to seeing you both and the cats again 😊 Your skills getting this van build together are really cool just like a pro 👍 I'm learning so much from you both , thank you 😊
Heyyyy Hope! Lovely to see you here ☺️ we particularly loved seeing Cali in the kitchen cupboard 🥹 haha I’m not sure we’re quite pros but we’ve definitely learnt a lot so far! Really glad the videos are somewhat helpful :) hope you’re doing well and having a great weekend, and thank you as always for tuning in, we love to hear from you! 💛
Buy another inspection cover for the water tank that will stop any leaks and make it easier to clean the tank out I have enjoyed all the videos so far good luck with the rest of the build
That’s actually a very good idea, how did we not think of that 🤔! Yes we will do that, honestly don’t know what we’d do without some of the helpful comments we get each time 😅 cheers for tuning in Paul!
Good to see the van progressing. I think I would be tempted to add some self tapping screws to the plastic repair cover on the extra hole you drilled in the fresh water tank. Not sure if it has internal baffles but even so, I suspect a lot of force will be generated with the water sloshing backward and forwards when the van in in motion. Potentially enough to blow out the silicone's grip and cause it to leak. Hopefully not though. Atb Dave
Hey, yeah it came with brackets. Hope this helps. www.tanks-direct.co.uk/100-litre-wheel-arch-tank/p6331?gclid=CjwKCAjwseSoBhBXEiwA9iZtxrQkOTXqVXgqm-Pr6_u80iO1CSVVijl0egdOshlcIWatGfAmn2Q-2hoCJ4wQAvD_BwE
That’s the plan! The only thing stopping it fully is money, we need to get a Truma and have half the money saved for it plus need an inverter, new wheels, fridge amongst other stuff. Expensive hobby this! 😂
@@lifeadventureprojects I have already used my stealth camping van for 3 trips to Scotland (NC500). My build took me 4 months, 1 day every 2 weeks, but i only fitted the basics. Good Luck.

Love your journey so far guys with the van build. So heart warming see you pair bounce off eachother and work as a team. Keep smashing it guys 👊🏽👊🏽
Hey Darryl! Ah that’s so lovely to hear, really appreciate it, it has certainly been a journey but glad we’re nearing the end of it 😂

We did exactly the same, with our water sensor in our water tank we just stuck it down 😊
Looks like it is going well now, you have both definitely improved your diy skills, well done.
Looking forward to the finished walk-through.

Might be an idea to add another nut on the waste tank, as a lock nut to stop the single one ever possibly coming lose!
Sounds like solid advice, added to my ‘to do’ list!
Just found your site, can't wait to see all the previous blogs. Best of luck from a new subscriber here in South Africa.
Hey! Thanks so much for joining us all the way from South Africa and hope you like the rest of the videos - they are a bit random sometimes 😂😂

Keep the videos coming

Great to see you guys back and building.
Thanks, Matt! 🙌🏻 Appreciate you watching.
Certainly coming together 😊
It is yay!! Thanks for watching Andy, hope you’re having a great weekend!
@lifeadventureprojects Yes thanks. Hoping to start my own conversation soon . Just removed the inverter and heater from old works van .
Hi Andy, I’d put some thread lock on those bolts for the underslung tank mate just to be sure👍
Cheers, that’s a great idea and we’re gonna do that to be safe! Thanks for watching and for commenting we really appreciate the tips!
Love the challenges and Journey!

Nice install hope you used the little inserts in the end of the pipes?, your skills are really improving looking great well done the both of you 👍
Certainly did Gerald, although I watched Greg Virgoe and one of his videos he said you only need them on hot pipes…. I went for the lot anyway!
@@lifeadventureprojects better safe than sorry, yes Greg's very good explaining things,
Looking forward to your next video 😉
Great video Team Ray!! Lots of great progress. Love the video, lots of different cuts and scenes. Well done! Keep going, soon be finished (?!?!) xx
In the strange gap, put a cupboard with a false bottom .... And use it for storing valuables, or fit a safe.

Question is, are you going to get it finished this year to use it ?

Looks like the water filter is upside down, the bowl should be at the bottom for when you remove it to clean the filter water doesn't go everywhere.
Thanks Ian, good spot. Will get that amended! ❤️
Why don't you have a drop down step for bedroom. The leg for it I would suggest another piece of ply. Rather than legs
Yeah did think about this, I actually saw a video where someone done it and looked good - I just quite like the idea of it also being a storage step.
