problem is the russians eastern offensive is gaining momemtum, i know theres videos of ukraine success of russia tanks getting destroyed is great and all for moral, but the truth is the ukrainians are slowly losing ground in the east and there successful kharkiv offensive is now stalled and some towns that ukraine took earlier in may have now back in russian hands, its time to concede luhansk and donbass to the russians cause both are 90% pro-russian anyways, so its stupid try free them if they dont want to be part of ukraine in the first place, better to have them have luhansk, donbass and crimea than entire ukraine, zelensky should start negotiation right now while they have some lands to control in eastern ukraine cause from the looks of things in the east, the russians are gaining momemtum and with more success they might push further west and continue west to the polish borders.

Reports are just coming in that Ukrainian forces are retreating from Luhansk through the last remaining round about road before they get completely surrounded as Russians have blocked the main highway leading from Bakhmut to Luhansk.

We always used the word "Ryssen" swedish word for Russian. We always knew if we where attacked it would be Russia. So for 50 years the defence was geared to an attack from the east.

I suggest instead of "continue" the word should be "increase". It is time to grind up the Russian military. Up until about now, from a machiavellian point of view, it made sense to allow Russia to fool themselves into thinking they can win. Getting them to commit more troops to the effort meant that they would be weakened even more internationally as those troops and equipment are destroyed. Now that part has done its work. Now is the time to ensure they gain nothing from the effort and can't withdraw the equipment in good order. It is a cold hearted view to be sure but on the international stage sometimes that is just the way you need to think.
