I met Peter several times in pubs in Warrington back in the 70s. All I can say is that if you didn't meet him you missed out. As well as being a revolutionary he was also probably the nicest guy you'd ever wish to meet. A true gentlemen. I was privileged to share a bottle of brown ale with him (back then? Lager was disgusting).
