Multiple types of tape, finger nail clippers, tweezers, scissors, liquid skin, rosin bag, fan, several interchangable thumbs, resurfacing pads, different shoe bottoms and heels, shoe brush, shammy, and shoe covers. I think that about covers it. I think!😂
I always have extra ball cups with me. One of my leagues is a five man team and we can only fit one ball each on the rack, so I put the others underneath the return. I only bring three balls to league anyway, but it still saves me from having to keep moving them back and forth.
Me,,,,,, ball cleaner, shoes and shanmmy I can't live without in bowling Can you please do a video of a 14lb ball vs 13lb ball with same layout and same ball. There absolutely no videos of this.
Don't hold your breath... little kids and seniors are the only ones throwing 13lbs, and like it or not, neither one is the target demographic for these videos.
I bought a 12 lb cypher to test as I normally throw 14. If I hit friction with it, I have no problem striking. First two games out of the box were 258 and 257. The big difference is when it stays in the oil it deflects more than 14. I thought I could get more messengers with the extra speed but I don't see that happening. 13 should be less of a difference but make sure you check the core of the balls to see if they are similar. I bought the Cypher because it still had a .42 dif. I would use speed as a gauge which is why I don't throw 15 except for plastic. If speed is getting lower and harder to control back end, then I would try a lower weight.
tape - oh, yeah! Prefer the purple tape for the thumb pad side and black vinyl tape for the back of my thumb. resin - never cared for it and it's a real PITA if someone "helps" get it on my shoes. interchangeable thumb insert - never needed it chamois pad - never used one but it might be good, a clean towel works well enough for me, launder every 2 weeks surface adjusting pads - good to have for major adjustments fresh inserts - I replace mine every 2 years, which is fine for non-crankers tool set - yes! Add fingernail clippers and emery boards Also add an extra bowling sock for repeatable slides. My wife makes these for me by cutting down a black sock and using some black elastic strapping and they last 4x as long as the ones they sell at the bowling alley or online and cost very little to make... $2 or so? Throw them in the wash when they get loaded with floor junk or get even a trace of anything sticky.
I have them same things plus a ball cleaner. The house i bowl at has a good amount oil on the lanes so getting that oil off at the end of the night is a plus. Great vid!!
yup, not only one, small fan for hands, Kmotion tape for back of hand, Genesis excel thumb patches I NEVER BOWL WITHOUT THEM, since I started using K motion tape on back of hand, cut with three fingers on bowling hand my hand doesn't get tired or cramp up after bowling

Hey Nick, I've been experiencing some pain in the base knuckle of my middle finger after bowling and I'm trying to figure out how to lessen it, or eliminate the problem that's causing the pain. I'm 68, so it might just be arthritis, but one pro shop owner suggested that I decrease the span of my finger tip grip by a quarter inch. I just recently switched to using interchangeble thumbs, which are great. Like you, I always wipe my ball with a shammy pad before each new frame. Back to my middle finger problem, I'm going to try taping my middle finger to my index finger, to help support it and lessen the sideways stress on my middle finger. I'll continue to attempt to keep my hand under the ball at the point of release, but that's more of a long term goal, without destroying my score. Any advice you have regarding correcting the pain in my middle finger knuckle pain, where the finger joins my palm, would be greatly appreciated. Here's my list of must have items in my bowling bag. 1. Medical textured tape & rough thumb tape peel off sections (or what ever they are called) 2. Body powder to put on my thumb if it is sticking just slightly and not coming out of the ball smoothly. 3. Interchangeble Thumb inserts for when my thumb swells and no longer fits into the ball 4. A wire brush to clean and renew the sliding surface of my left shoe. 5. Bowling ball cleaning spray and rags, plus one ball stand, so I can clean my bowling balls before putting them back into my bag. 6. A couple different grits of sanding pads, to resurface my bowling balls back closer to their factory surface finish, which I do about once a week, or ten days. 7. A couple leather shammies to wipe down my bowling ball before each frame. 8. Shoe protectors 9. Pen and/or pencil to write with.
@@traveling.down.the.road56 I would try what the pro shop is suggesting. As we age, the spans need to get shorter with more forward to grip the ball without pressure.
Things I have in my bag: rosin bag, baby powder, cleaning cloth, cleaning spray, toolkit, finger tape, thumb tape, sanding pads, shoe booties, ball cup. I may add step 2 polish in case I need to shine up my ball. Sounds like a lot.
Now if people could stop getting rosin everywhere that'd be great
The thing I need the most is CASH. The Alley won't even let me bowl without it! How rude!

I keep tweezers for my tape vs small screwdriver
@@jcc_482 that’s different. But if it works it works!
I use tweezers too!!
I do the same. I also use a multi tool that has scissors, nail clippers, and all kinds of other tools.
When I used my thumb, I had a plexiglass scoring tool I used to insert tape. The pointed end worked great.
I'm always adding tape because my thumb always goes down. Always.
Tell Brunswick we need an interchangeable finger system.
I have to get a new shammy pad every couple months. When you say they grow legs you ain’t kiddin man😂
My list is towel, reading glasses to see the score, purple hammer and White dot. (One hand, no thumb)
I keep extra slide soles and a shoe brush in my bag. Also keep tape, small scissors, shammy and rosin bag.
Number 1 thing I need to bowl is my bowling balls.. 🤣
Nice video only thing I would add is a small fan.
