if you ask me he was even a little slow in reaction to when the enemy Felon changed his circle, and did not always predict his flight path right, that's why it took him so long, and thats dangerous, definitely if you know there is multiple jets for each team on this map
Watching some of these dogfights is pretty intense. I was playing conquest 64 and flying a nightbird, enemy was in the stealth chopper (still new to this game, don't know the name) and we were doing circles around each other and taking shots for what felt like eternity. He won in the end because his team had AA and the score was something like 100 v 500 at the time of the fight, with my team losing.
I feel you man. sucks when the team doesn't give you enough support

Great video! I would suggest using the 3rd person camera to zoom in since it has way more zoom than the cockpit one. It's a bit tricky at first but it's a gamechanger once you get used to it.
Yeah I use it a lot, they changed the placement of it in one of the past updates so it's not good with close quarters, I find it very good when the other jet is far away

Thank you, I use shift for afterburner, and in the options the afterburner is on hold instead of click
I went into dogfight at Spearhead and passed to the VTOL mode when I engaged the production facilities. Su-57, which could not maneuver, crashed into the facility, I wish I had recorded it😅

Good video, though I’m interested in the opposite of this scenario, how do I keep myself from losing jets I’m pursuing. This has been the number one problem for me in dogfights.

I play on PS5, so I’m not sure how affective these tips are for me. Anyways, I’m a pretty good pilot in BF games, I already T1 both jets in 2042, BUT there’s always those players that seem to turn way sharper me and 90% of my deaths in jets are because of that. Can you make a video on how to do sharp turns, because I cannot figure it out. 😂

Does everyone use mouse and keyboard on jets? I use my joystick on a transport chopper but struggle with the jets.
A lot of the people I fly with use joystick, some of them are unbelievably good dogfighters

what is the best way to deal with wild cats? im learning to fly on console and im doing fine at everything except fighting wild cats
Never attack from the front, attack from the back of the side and pick a moment when the wildcat is busy with other targets. use Hydra rockets

No worries, look at the 2nd and the bonus dogfights (especially the bonus one) you will find a mix of horizontal and vertical loops
@@AntiSocialElf Thank you! Your videos are awesome and VERY helpful. My biggest problem right now is dealing with nightbirds and wildcats. I just cant find a good way to counter them. Sometimes it feels like the nightbird has higher speed than the jet lol.

this is why i don't play big vehicle maps on consoles.. you will never be this precise flying a jet using a gamepad.. some ppl are pretty good at flying choppers, but planes? forget about it.

Have u ever played bf4? Asking because jet mechanics are the same in bf3 and bf4 and I'm curious if this could work there. We have afterburner too in stealth jets
I didn't play it no but some of my friends did and they tell me the mechanics are different
@@AntiSocialElf I see :) we use the afterburners there to increase speed or to compensate the gravity when going upward in a dogfight, to try maintain perfect turn speed. I was curious if this could work. Thx for amswering ^^ take care!

Dude, this Su-57 knows what he doing but this F-35 player did better than him💥💥
Agreed - I was surprised when the F35 almost killed me
@@AntiSocialElf The F35 now has a slightly faster turning speed. Therefore, all other things being equal, the F35 outperforms the SU57. Russian aircraft now require greater mastery of afterburner and aim control. So if your last opponent was an F35, you probably wouldn’t have been able to cope.

I just don't get it. As if I don't have any gaming spacial awareness. Since BF3 Jets have been my Achilles Heel...
I think you have to play a lot vs bots first, when I started I couldnt even kill the AI jet. I know this sounds like a boring advice, but search air superiority in portal and play vs AI, it will help you, I promise.
