I'll admit it's fascinating to watch. I think the problem with the Nightbird is that while nothing in this game can be called remotely realistic, the flight characteristics of this helicopter are divorced from reality to an extent that turns the entire thing into a joke in the hands of a player like this one. A highly-skilled operator flying a top-end remote control helicopter might achieve something approximating this kind of agility in the air, but even that would be off by some margin. Put it this way, you will never see a remotely similar display of complete dominance from someone in a Wildcat no matter how much experience the player has because it's just impossible. To my mind, if a helicopter and the only vehicle in the game created specifically to counter it are incapable of reaching parity even in the most competent hands, game pilots like this one are playing with an unfair advantage no matter how you spin it. That is the reason helicopters and jets are the only vehicles you will find in these 100-0 videos. Just saying.
Actually it’s achievable in any vehicle and even as infantry. Most good vehicle players don’t use the wildcat because it’s very strong and kind of easy.

In the time a wildcat sees and targets a nightbird upon the very first hit the nightbird can be across the map or out of bounds within seconds. Everytime i play low altitude and defensive the enemi heli kills me, and everytime i play more aggresive or higher altitude the enemy aa kills me, what can i do?

As a Jet player it disgusts me how op the littlebirds mini guns are vs the jet yet I use the 30mm which is my primary role against vehicles and the 30 bullet speed just is so bad and accuracy so poor I can't do anything against a little bird unless I change to 25s and air radar aa missiles 🤮 like little birds can hit you cross map with the mini guns and do massive damage. Yet you can't do anything back till you die and swap to anti air loadout or jet ram.
1.That the 30mm is bad isn’t the nightbirds fault lol. 2. the 30mm is meant for ground vehicles and the 25mm for air. 3. if you would just fly top down and up again he can’t hit you. Your take is a skill issue

Also never said it was the little birds fault it is dices crappy balance that the main gun for the jets sucks and main gun for the little bird is kick ass. The jets are supposed to target vehicles as a priority not infy. Yet here we are with the 25's being the only viable option to kill the most lethal vehicle in the game which has zero effect on the other main vehicles. The 30's should be buffed hard especially against the night bird either through damage due to the lack of accuracy, or bullet speed so we don't have to lead you by 3 vehicle lengths and have the littlebirds stupidly high manuverability just negate any lead. Because by the time we change back to the new lead we have already gone past you.
@@cleancutvision1330 I prefer pods atm I am using them very effectively against both infantry and ground vehicles. Very few jets are able to beat me even though I run anti ground load out. The only problem I have is little bird Heli's. I have to minimise how effective I am for the team to have a small chance of taking out any decent little bird pilot which is ridiculous. Damage for the 30mm from the jet only needs a massive buff either in bullet velocity or damage against litte birds or even a nerf for the little birds miniguns against gets at distance; then I will be happy. Till then jets and in particular ground attack jets are just fodder for the little bird especially with their sweet to keep up with a jet with afterburner -_- hell their bullets shouldn't even come close to hitting a f35 at top speed even turning around in time to see let alone aim, lead and shoot at a jet going top speed is impossible without computer guidance.

Of course I'm new to jetting and leaving Night birds alone since they are so small and hard for me to hit. Skill issue I guess. But I don't bother them and they seem to leave me alone. Haven't played in a couple years. Just got on to play (console) and noticed a few things: If you don't have crossplay on, there are probably only a total of 100 console players worldwide who still play this game. I have almost exclusively flown helicopters in battlefield from bad company 2 / BF3 on. Currently in 2042, the nightbird has been nerfed into the ground for console play. It now feels like a DUI flying simulator. When you're using a thumbstick on a controller, you are significantly less accurate with the miniguns (this is obviously not as much of an issue for PC gamers who have a mouse) combined with the reduced damage and increased overheat of the miniguns, and horrible handling of the nightbird, this makes it near impossible to kill enemy personnel on the ground. They also nerfed the anti-personnel rockets to the point of near uselessness. The horrible handling of the helicopter and weakness of its weapons means you have to spend more time hovering to get a kill and that exposes you to a near infinite number of threats. Every class has some kind of weapon that can take you down, almost every vehicle has a weapon capable of totally wrecking your helicopter in a short period of time, you're not only getting missile locked every two seconds, you are being shot at with tv missiles and tank rounds (used to be harder for tanks to hit you) and other aircraft. If you play with 'crossplay' on, which you basically have to now, you will get annihilated by PC players flying any other aircraft, especially another nightbird or a jet. The gameplay just feels like tactical vomit at this point. Too many different vehicles and gadgets on screen at one time looks ridiculous - the game is nowhere near as immersive as previous battlefield games for that reason. Hopefully the next battlefield will find a more creative way to balance things like the nightbird. I think a great idea would be keeping it's speed, maneuverability, and weapons damage high, but only giving it a limited amount of ammunition. The pilots should have to go back to a friendly base and land to get more ammo loaded into the helo. Something like that would require a fair amount of skill and reduce the 'kill streaks' that ground players hate so much and never stop complaining about.
