Hey.. just a heads up.. the 3665 also mounts in the car no problems at all. I got the hobbywing 3400kv toasty on 4s but it does handle 4s
Isn't the Hobbywing motor 3660? The motor in my truck is a 3660 and I have no more than 2mm to spare, mathematically the 65mm motor will not fit. If you have one that fits, then it cannot be 65mm long.

For a 3300kv 3660 motor on 3s in this truck, which pinion gear would you recommend?
Probably around the 14-15T. Can probably go with a 16-17T for speed runs, but keep an eye on temps, regardless. Cheers.

@@BASSstarlet they are super cheap at my hobby shop. Got alloy shocks for 100 a set NZD the steering blocks alloy was 65NZD

Dare i say it Vas, but maybe the 3200kv from arrma, they can run 4s for a while, or get hobbystar 3660
I think the ARRMA motor is 3665, which won't fit, but we'll see what happens when I fit these motors in there. 😁
The arrma 3s line is all 3660, in the arrma 3s group theres a few in there running 4s and just using the 4s esc
I have a racerstar 3670 motor which is pretty strong, the 3660 if its anything like my 3670 should work well for the budget
