once you find out that you're literally playing as a robot, the words "no human employees as of yet" makes a lot more sense, because there are *literally* no human employees. you are the only employee, and you're not even human, just a robot with an artificial intelligence.
i wonder tho this could be an oversight on the devs part but in the grave ending where simon busts open the door and get close to you can hear human breathing i feel like i am one off the few people who noticed this
Kinda funny that there's no human employees, it sounds like they don't even have any human chefs for the pizza and other food they've got on menu. It's giving me a funny visual of either Popgoes and Fritz himself having to team up and man the kitchen while the rest of the gang keeps the kids occupied until the food's ready, unless Fritz had some bots reminiscient of the S.T.A.F.F. Bots getting prepped for work. (EDIT: just realized Fritz pointed out the cooking's taken care of by the bots too in one of the Night 1 recordings. Still, would be funny to see Fritz and his main man -or I guess weasel- having to work together through a lunch rush, or a really big birthday party.)
Fun fact, you were originally going to play as Mike Schmidt’s son in the original concept for the game but it was scrapped and no ties to the Schmidt’s are made in the popgoes series, only the Fitzgerald. But the reason why the change to a robot protagonist was made was because of inspiration from an original fnaf 1 theory that you were actually playing as a robot since you couldn’t move much and saw static once you died. The theory didn’t hold up that well and was proven false but was interesting enough to be included in popgoes. Funnily enough Popgoes’ role in the game was also inspired from a popular theory leading up to fnaf 3’s release. In a fnaf 3 teaser, springtrap was seen over the box with the toy animatronics and it was speculated at the time that springtrap would build an animatronic to come after you. Let's be honest the whole self automated restaurant where kids can use the 3d printer to make stuff and paint them is a cool idea....only thing to make it better if they can freaking make sure they power off during the night and secure the whole damn building!
But the security guard does require the power to be on in order to do his job. Otherwise the lights and the monitor wouldn't be on. But given how advanced the place is, yeah surely Fritz could make some kind of lockdown system so they could just power off and not worry about anyone breaking in.

It's interesting that the phrase 'Bear in mind' is present as early as POPGOES 2016 I wonder if they planned to use that phrase more in a now cancelled project before being used prominently in POPGOES Evergreen
I've only watched the first minutes but your video plus a comment in the comment section was highlighting a minute and another comment talking about the replayability made me want to play the game again and complete it :D .I just downloaded it.Last time,I played the game and beat it 100% was many years ago :)

Ok so since Fritz mentioned about the Fazbear's Fright attraction burning down, wich happened in March 2023, this means Popgoes is happening anytime soon (or if not, then it's already happening or it happened already) So if POPGOES takes place during (or after) 2023, then it would make sense to have all that futuristic stuff and animatronics doing all of that, considering how AI is going on right now

Yes, if you want to listen to all the phone calls in the actual game, you would have to listen to the main phone call 3 times so you would be able to choose every option. Meaning you will need to die after each phone call ends to go back and hear another option. Isn't hard to do though, if you don't look at the window at all, but is very tedious.

I was bummed out when Popgoes didn't have subtitles.
It may take a while to make them, but they really do go the extra length. A lot of newer FNAF fangames nowadays are making sure to include them though
Not so fun fact: Fritz killed Bonnie with an axe due to a PTSD attack.

Yep. But if you die you can skip the phone call. Nights go for 10 minutes each which is one of the longest in any fangame I have played.
I think the nights in the first three levels in TJOC:SM are also 10 minutes.
