Militec 1 vs The World : Lubricity Test Challenge

- Militec-1 is a synthetic based metal conditioner that is coveted as the product in the market today. In a lubricity test, Militec-1 goes up against some of the best motor oils and oil additives leading the market today.
Raced 14 years. Every engine we ran using Militec and Amsoil. Never lost a single bearing. Turning engines in the redline for thousands of laps. Best oil additive ever.
I've used MILITEC1 for 25 years having access from Herndon Va
My weapons, work, home and cars. It is amazing. You can amp out a motor pump, add to a seized bearing until repaired, it's amazing.
That's epic Borr! We've been in the business here in Hawaii for 30 years now. I couldn't agree with you more.
I used militec in my boat engines since it was first marketed probably before most of you ever heard of it. Seeing a similar test as this at a boat show and I was allowed to push down the bearing on the motor as it was spinning. Yes, it sold me as it obviously works as is shown in this video. Nothing staged or fake about this test.
It’s great stuff. We’ve used it in our race kart engines since the early 2000’s. Ran out of it one day at the track and blew 2 motors. Coincidence, maybe? But haven’t had many engine issues since, and none have been for locked up or seized bearings or pistons. Use it in all my cars too here in md.
Thank you Mike! Richard & Kyle Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, and others were juicin' with Militec-1 in their Nascar engines. It is the greatest stuff!
how many onzes of miletec 1 for a 5.4 quart oil change
Im brazilian. Is that true that Us Navy reproved MILITEC? Here in Brazil some people are saying that, because it could have chlorine in the composition.
Yes it's used by the US military at large. And no it doesn't have chlorine, it's literally a wonder lube. Highly recommend using this stuff
I got my first free gsllon after ùsing 5oz and Amp probefd out 15 less amps than standard oil.
30 years later it goes directly into my power steering fluid. Oil after that
i would want to see a comparison between this and dyna lube, it claims to help oil adhere to the metal in your engine in the same way by trying to fill micropores
Do this vs RSR Ran-Up. That shit is like some gypsy witch magic I swear
Product seems great but where can i buy it? Why is this not carried in any stores? I would think you would want it more readily available to buy
Amazon has it
So do you just add this to oil and if so at what ratio? 🧐 looks like an amazing product.
YES! Just add to your engine oil... 8 oz per vehicle is sufficient... Literally adds life to your car! Mahalo!
Can you apply this stuff directly into the carb of a running 2-cycle engine like the Slick 50 of yesteryear ?
@shannonwhitaker9630 this can be used literally where two moving metal parts cause friction. So yes you can.
How does this stand up to ZMAX, Prolong and Petron Plus?
This blows that other stuff out of the water. Zmax and all of these other items came out long after militec was around. Militec was used in the logging industry first, and Brad Giordano brought it into military usage. The other kinds might only say it's for car engines or transmissions, however militec is used anywhere and everywhere. I've been using this stuff since the early 2000's and it's incredible. You can even put an ounce of it into your car coolant (won't have negative reaction), and along with using it in oil change, my car idled at 300 less rpm, and the engine was quiet when going down the freeway. Give this thing a look. You won't regret it.
I just bought a new chainsaw, is this an acceptable substitute for chainsaw bar oil? I'm trying to militec as much I can, haha!
Not sure if you can do a complete swap, but the president of the company started off in the logging industry and they were using this in that industry first. Its so amazing.
Is militec appropriate with both synthetic and mineral?
Do you recommend this on piston air compressors?
Używam od 10 lat w 3 samochodach...najlepszy...wszystkie poszły na złom że sprawnymi silnikami i skrzyniami biegów...to huba przez militec1😁✋
Watch the handle of the torque wrench. The reading is only valid if the wrench is in the center of the handle. The way he is doing it gives false reedings. Also militec 1 requires all of the other lubricant be removed because it doesn't play well with other stuff. If you put militec 1 on top of break free it will gum up. Don't get me wrong, it is good but it has limitations like anything else.
Surely great stuff, but they don't use it in the military anymore:

You know the procurement dept of the GAO is all politics and payoffs. Do not let that steer you to the product. Its mostly the lowest bid that wins the day
Don't know what you are talking about we still use it in the Army and our armorers still order it for range ops.
Also, this is from 2009, and it was politics, a multitude of generals from the infantry school at Fort Benning wrote letters to congress refuting that Gao report and militec has long since been allowed back into the military, it has its own NSN for when mechanics and armorers order it.
@drcoffee5588 exactly that, the president of militec used to have this be used by the military and then the Army figured they try to push him out by creating CLP, but then their product proved inferior and that's why militec is back in military usage.
