If a disc ever gets stuck, it's actually not too big a deal to pull the XBOX apart and get the disc out by hand. It's not the easiest thing, but it's way easier than you think. =P
Kinda crazy that games used to only take up 16GB? An all time classic like Super Metroid was just 2MB! And even that was considered on the larger side for a SNES game. Many other older games probs much smaller.

Its locked so you cant just buy any game and run it. The companies would loose a lot of money.
One of the funniest memories of my childhood was putting a "explicit" movie disk in my playstation 2 and the thing started sounding like a car engine. Then I could smell burning, I panicked quickly removed the disk and it was literally floppy MELTED I literally rolled the disk up in hysterics laughing to myself. The great thing was my playstation worked fine after it just melted the disk lol The moral is be careful what disks you insert lol
You definitely got confused at the start. You said that Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One have different discs. That isn't true. New Xbox One discs have the word "Xbox" at the top because they are for both. Not just one
Here are some backward compatible original Xbox games I know: Fuzion Frenzy, Psychonauts, Black, Chicken Little, Ninja Gaiden Black, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, Blinx The Time Sweeper, and Max Payne 1.
Xbox doesn't support adaptive triggers, haptic feedback.or any cool controller mechanism. PS5 has 3D audio aswell. Just face it PS5 may never have better hardware but it appeals to a lot more people. Don't get me wrong I loved my Xbox one but like they didn't change anything for the X. The design is basically the same except thicker and the ui is just the same. If Xbox said they will discontinue Xbox if they lose the console war (which idk if it's actually true or not) then Xbox is finished.

Most of the previous racing games that aren't backwards compatible come down to licensing issues.
