Another absolutely beautiful video about a topic rarely heard outside anthropology classes! What is really special about her stories is not only the captivating images, stunning drone shots, the dramatizing music, but also the narration, both in content and style. Her speaking of the local dialect and her accented English make a compelling case that she's a native from the region. Man, it can't possibly get more real than this 😱When do you get to see anything like this? I am happy that she's trying to capture all these lesser known parts of China and the minority people before it's too late, as she put it. I hope she'll keep doing this sort of videos before the bigwigs in the corporate media come and snatch her 😱
Thank you so much for capturing such high-quality videos that allowed me to witness the uniqueness of China! When I was in Guizhou, I came across the Coffin Cave, where coffins are stacked and placed inside karst caves, similar to the hanging coffins you featured in your video!
Thank you for this very interesting video! I knew about these coffins in the rocks, but I've never seen them before. Very impressive that the wood lasts so long. By the way, your videos are much better now than at the beginning. Pictures and especially the sound quality are very good now. 👍👍 Where is your little dog?
Very well done! It's fascinating. I have heard of such interesting burials, but nothing as intriguing as these hanging coffins. I really appreciate the details you give about the type of wood, the different peoples being from a common ancestorial group and of course you are very stunning too with a wonderful voice suited for telling stories and probably singing too.
Thank you for always sharing such deep and interesting stories with us, in such a beautiful way! 🖤 A while ago, being surprised by tombs in Southern Europe not even far away, I thought how fascinating researching cemeteries around the world would be, even just current ones. And this, 2000 years old and still there, is amazing.

Greg here doesn't even know what exactly '班门弄斧' means in Chinese, my guess is he just took half-year mandarin courses, and got confident enough to BS around here, reminds me of Justin Bieber got '怂' chest tattoo.
I have lived in China for 12 years. This young lady has to be the cutest I have ever seen. Would love to meet you some day! Come to Chengdu and enjoy a beautiful time with your brother. 我是剑桥的一名英语老师。我的妻子是中国人,我们邀请你来参加一次美好的访问,亲爱的朋友❤

That is a beautiful short film. You narrate, photograph, and wonderfully edit this show. Happy Trails from Florida
Nice short documentary giving us a glimpse of how the Pu people lived some 2000 years ago and how they honour their dead.

It's similar to Indonesian Toraja's coffin tomb in Sulawesi Island.
Thank you, Hongling !! I learned so much about the Pu people from this mini doc.

班门弄斧 what's the purpose of all this, it just doesn't make sense.
it's all about belief. it all makes sense.
The explanations make perfect sense! Did you not listen?

It’s a real shame communism left no space for the amazing Chinese culture.
This is exactly how the average person who thinks they understand China talks, it's truly disappointing to see a know-it-all 'political guru'.
