We have never played Call of Duty Zombies (outside of Cold War Mythbusters). So let's play every single map and finish every major easter egg within. Shouldn't take us too long.
It's time for the Black Ops 2 FINALE! Origins is all that stands in our way, should be fine.

Tranzit Die Rise and Buried were all made by Jimmy Zelinski, Mob of the Dead and Origins were made by Jason Blundell, that's why they feel the way they do (Bo3&4 were mainly developed by Jason Blundell so get used to stuff like Origins)

Having played zombies for so long, I’ve really forgotten the simpler times of just launching a map and playing normally without all of the built up metaknowledge of games past, and you guys sort of nostalgically bring those feelings back, cheers. 🥂
I've literally almost never had that opportunity, every map that would come out I wouldn't get to play for years/months later, for example the first DLC map I ever played was COTD in 2011, however I didn't get to play Ascension, Shang or Moon until years later (still haven't played Bo1 Ascension or Shang) or like with Bo3 I've played every map except ZNS, but I basically already know the layout of that map

I literally went like 6 or 7 years without watching anything on bo3 zombies beyond a few simple videos of people playing shadows, just waiting to be able to get the game myself. It came free to ps+ a bit ago, and now that I'm older as well and have extra money, I went and bought the dlc. Hell i forced my friends to hop back on and play. Dedication man. I believe in you

@@alldud13 Joe has said they're playing every single iteration of CoD zombies. And he did say the next video isn't just Advanced Warfare, that there will be 2 games in the video, and it'll be before 'the big one' which is BO3. Since they're playing the games in order of release, it's possible they're going to play Extinction with AW even though it's not zombies, it does correlate to IW zombies. AW and Extinction are both extremely easy in terms of map layouts and easter eggs, the only difficulty is the actual zombies and alien types. So I doubt it'll take them longer than 2 weeks on either game, at most. If you can't remember the order of release, you can just Google the CoDs. After BO2 released was AW then Ghosts. Then they'll do BO3 and do IW and then WW2 and so on so forth.

Yer I was pretty impressed mainly by luck but he wasn't aiming so hit the power core loads they start shooting him in the head after and making it much harder

@@jakethemoss240 in fact I would argue that BO2 Panzer is scarier no matter how you look at it because he shows up on round 8 and can literally grab you. It’s like he’s designed so that you get absolutely mauled on your first attempt. I feel like by the time DE Panzer showed up most people at least had the basic bow or a packed weapon or at least double tap and he wasn’t too bad to take down. (Especially with the death ray trap which if I’m not mistaken was how I killed my first DE Panzer!)
@@velocidellix yeah the sound BO2 makes when he spawns in for the first time and it’s your first time you are like “what is that?” And you just see a giant metal beast with a flamethrower and a grappling claw ready to F you up like literally that is terrifying the sound is like super terrifying and for me still sometimes but the first time was definitely the scariest

Did you guys skip dead ops arcade in black ops 1? I can’t remember if you played it but that mode is definitely canon and I think should at least be attempted once by you guys, I think you would actually enjoy it, its a nice break from the usual zombies bs
In case you didn't know, Origins reminds you of Mob of the Dead specifically because both are made by the same team, with Jason Blundell in charge (all other maps until now were made by another team). All BO3 and BO4 maps will be made by him as well and you can totally tell the shift in design
this is also the reason the buildable system is different in multiple maps as Jimmy Zielinski and his team developed Tranzit, Die Rise and Buried, while Jason Blundell and his team made Mob of the Dead and Origins

I'm fortunate in that this video is how I discovered the series. Didn't have to wait but I went and started from the beginning of course
Still haven't got over that first Panzer encounter going as well as it did, I remember bricking it when I first faced it, while Joe casually trains it around Generator 3!
This ain’t just some kid’s first look at zombies; Joe & Jamison are mega-gamers with a refreshingly fresh perspective.
Shock of the panzer landing on them caused their pure gamer instincts to take over.
Be lucky that it’s not BO3’s Panzer. Where it has a 90% damage reduction to all bullets.

IT IS HERE. The conclusion to BO2, in it’s full 2 hour glory. I have a lot of respect for y’all going in and taking the time and energy to do all of this! It’s a pretty big undertaking, and it’s very entertaining.

Especially in Black Ops 3 they lay a lot of the foundation for what to expect from the map

Origins is so cinematic. Honestly one of the best maps they’ve ever done
I think having you guys watching the intro cutscenes on video would be fun. And you would get more context for future maps since they get more story-heavy
they play co op and when you do u get a loading screen instead of a cutscene, but still a good idea

I feel like this is something they wouldn’t care about but origins was way too cool to skip over.
I agree with this big time cause going into Black Ops 3 the intro cutscenes become pretty much essential to understanding the maps story wise and thematically. I feel like if they don't watch the SoE cutscene they will be confused

As a zombies vet, I think that 10:40 is where you officially became a good zombies player. You saw the danger, accessed what to do, and managed to stay alive. Gotta say, I’m proud of you.
I am a zombies tryhard, love diving into the intricacies of the mode. This series is truly incredible and applaud you both for diving straight in
You guys talk about how similar mob of the dead and origins are and it’s because they were made by the same director Jason Blundell. Transit, Die Rise and Buried was made by a different director
The zombies community is pretty much split with a slight majority leaning towards Origins of what the best map is, Origins or Mob. My favorite is Origins.

“I can’t say I’m stoked about how many parts there are and how random the locations are”. I’m the far future when we hit dead of the night in BO4, origins will be far more appreciated for how relatively easy it’s parts are to manage
Me when the parts are literally the same, people have just played Origins more so they naturally know those parts better. If y'all put half as much time into dead of the night as y'all do in Origins, you'd know it like the back of your hand

The greatest series on UA-cam is back. I will never be able to stress this enough, but these zombies videos by you guys are by far the most anticipated I’ve ever felt towards UA-cam videos
I know you guys most likely aren’t considering it, especially since it’s not technically zombies but cod ghosts extinction mode is one of the most underrated experiences in cod history. The story is amazing and none of the maps are very long, or have any major Easter eggs from my experience. It was a breath of fresh air from the zombies mode and I really enjoyed the pace of the entire experience. I highly recommend it, even if it’s not a game you could consider for this series. Love the vids though guys it’s been a joy living through these maps for the first time again vicariously through you.

Fun Fact: Origins shares the same steps as Vorkuta in BO1
Step 1: Secure The Keys (Build the Staffs)
Step 2: Ascend From Darkness (Upgrade the Staffs)
Step 3: Rain Fire (Use the G-Strikes)
Step 4: Unleash The Horde (Defeat the Panzers)
Step 5: Skewer The Winged Beast (Take down the plane)
Step 6: Wield A Fist Of Iron (get kills using the One-Inch Punch in the center chamber)
Step 7: Raise Hell (place the staffs in the crazy place and get kills)
Step 8: Freedom (Escape)
You are correct in saying Origins is like Mob. Both were designed by Jason Blundell, who would design most of the future treyarch maps (Bo3 and 4).

You guys need to understand how incredible this series is to us long time zombies fans. Its like watching a competent gamer playing call of duty, in its prime and you watching them discover you favorite parts of the campaign and multi-player. There is no substitute for the hit of nostalgia I get watching you guys play these maps. There is no real comparison l.
I'm STILL here. Glad I watched til the very end. Made me laugh and think about Ferris Buellers Day Off Post Credit scene.

Y'all are literally everything I wanted to watch recently! New players playing COD zombies and then solving the easter egg. All the video lengths are perfect as well, long zombies videos have always been the best. Y'all are amazing and I cant wait for the series to continue! You are going to love AW zombies lol.
Pretty sure I've binged the series a few times, and had it play in the background just as much. For some reason, the algorithm places Buried as the autoplay video, in case you ever wondered.
Hopefully the new chapter comes out soon.
Little heads-up for when you start playing Advanced Warfare, 3 out of 4 maps have 2 easter eggs. The first, the third and the last. You can keep track of which you have completed in a trophy case in the last map.
I'm so used to watching people who know everything about Zombies gameplay-wise, it's like we learn to take all these weird game mechanics and whatnot for granted so it's really refreshing and fun watching you guys discovering/experiencing these maps for the very first time! I'm really looking forward to the future of this series!

Doing the staffs without the guidance for a good chunk of the video. You guys did really well some of the parts are tricky for new players. Fire plane as a example

this was by far the best episode yet!! the fact the whole episode was soley based off ORIGINS ALONE made it truly special!! ive loved this series whole way through and cannot wait for whats to come!! all episodes were great as always but this origins run from exploring to doing the EG in one run just made me and MANY huge zombie fans absolutley amazed and proud!! CONGRATS ON COMPLETELING BLACK OPS 2! ONTO THE NEXT JOURNEY!! and please keep the episodes this long! ITS WELL WORTH THE WAIT AND WATCH!!

28:00 Joe talking about guns falling off early in Origins while holding the DSR50 lol. Pack-a-punched + Double Tap, it's a oneshot until round like 45 or something ridiculous, and can get collaterals on hordes

I got this video recommend to me yesterday and went back and watched all the other parts. Holy hell, this series has become my favorite thing and I can't wait for the next part!
Being an avid zombies player since Black Ops 1 in 2010. Seeing this series is such an interesting perspective and has me so excited to see EVERY first impression for all Treyarch, and NON Treyarch maps. P.S. That first Panzer kill was CLEAN. Super good for first time.
Just wanted to let you know, the reason mob of the dead and origins have a different UI than buried is because buried was already finished by the time Mob was released and the head dev of buried no longer worked at activision when origins was finished
Honestly this is one of my favorite series on youtube atm. Always looking forward to new episodes. I hope you eventually play the extinction mode from Ghosts. It's really fun imo

Some fun facts about the map:
The panzer soldat can also grab other zombies and kill them. It as long as you don’t shoot the zombie it grabs or the red light you can get free damage on it. As for the mud, you can use the old gaming exploit of sprint jumping through it as it only hinders horizontal movement while your moving on it.
As for your dying crawler problem. They will die after a set amount of time. It was a new feature that is universally hated by everyone.
Jesus, every upload is an overwhelming experience! Glad to see you folks taking on one of the better maps in the series! And with Black Ops 2 (what I like to call the Experimental zombies cod), you will come to see just how different black ops 2 stands out from the rest in the future! Not so say bo2 was bad, it was just different enough to be iconic. Good luck moving forward!

Gotta say I’m really glad the non-treyarch maps aren’t being skipped. Even if some are considered worse than your average treyarch map, it’s good to see the evolution of zombies as a whole. Some on treyarch maps definitely influenced some later treyarch maps in many small ways.
For the next maps, i would love to see you guys also react to the opening cutscene of the map, it's some really great stuff! as alyways, really great video! Loving this series so much
What i loved about bo2 zombies was how, like you said, the devs seemed to be experimenting with game mechanics and gimmicks on each map, which made every map feel like a unique experience, and i loved that! Shame the devs aren't doing that type of stuff anymore.
Literally a game changing map. So much replay value tho it can be a bit tedious sometimes

To sum up Origins without spoiling too much I believe it is how the Primus crew met up and segways into Bo3. Also you can just skip Zombies Chronicles it's just a set of remasters so you've done the maps in it already.

I'm surprised you guys didn't put your reaction to the Origins intro cutscene. That cutscene is great. It's still has a great scare factor, great music, and shows our new crew for the next game

This right now is easily my favorite series. It's got the nostalgia for the games I did play, the information of what I missed in those games I did or did not play, the reactions as if you are taking a friend through it, and I get to see zombies I did not play (and you guys raging but that's a side note 😅).

Gotta say I love seeing you guys experience these maps as new experiences! Would love to play Infinite Warfare zombies with you guys when you get round to it (but I imagine you get a lot of these offers). Honestly it was such a refreshing change and in my opinion very underrated!
