I hope you and Adam spend sometime around Springfield, IL. Not only because of all the Lincoln sites but also the unique food attractions like Cozy Dog, the original corn dog.
The bridge was very cool. Get some rest. Cold weather came out of nowhere again for a few days. Even brought snow up North. Hope you are traveling in Large Marge!
I was expecting a video of you curled up and passed out in a corner after eating that steak, but I'm glad to see it looks like you are doing just fine!
Dude at the Mother of the Route 66 graveside.... Was there eyeballs 👁 in the middle of the Roses 🌹🌹 😐 Really enjoying these Route 66 vlogs 👍🏻😁 so many strange and curious places and things, seriously lovin it ❣
Enjoying your fabulous journey with Adam the Woo, Jacob. I love those roadside attractions depicting earlier times. It astounds me that you can roam in and out freely. (Where are the rest of the visitors, I wonder?) You guys each have your own spin on places you go which doubles our pleasure. You're doing a super job... Glad you are wearing your hat even on a cloudy, windy day.👨🌾👌👍☺
Is it just me or did you slip into an Adam The Woo impression a couple of times? Well whether you meant to or not it was funny to my ears and laughter is the best medicine making you guys the best doctors ever. Drive safe. See ya real soon.
Awesome video! Loved the brief glance of the old barn with Meramec Caverns being advertised! A few years ago I lived near Stanton, Missouri! Glad you were able to retrieve your helmet!! Close call!! Safe travels to you and Adam!!
What a great 7th day vlog.... I always enjoy the cool birds eye view that possum provides for us. What are the odds that you keep running into old Pappy.... Crazy, right? WHAT WAS THAT!!!!! 😁 Thanks again Jacob for the laughs, and your continued pursuit of non-stop fun and factoids. What a great friend you have been.... Thanks for hanging out...... I'll see you on day eight..... Take care..... Arthur Childs, Oak Harbor, WA 🙂
Ya! Your in Elk City! Home, I was there just 2years ago. Just off rt.66.y mom was born and raised there. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Enjoy, I know I do.
Brother Jacob looks like you guys are definitely getting your kicks on Route 66 Oklahoma can be a little cold this time of year! Safe travels down the Mother Road my friend I look forward to more Adventures to come! peace love and VDub grease!
Hi Jacob, that doll with the red eyes was definitely possessed as it didn't even have it's feet on the ground, it was just levitating halfway up the wall lol. Great video, thank you and safe travels to you and Adam. xx
Looking forward to seeing your Missouri video, lots of cool stuff to see here, I'm close to the Boots motel on 66 here in Carthage, safe travels Jacob and Adam Rick B aka Plastic butcher
You guys are rolling thru quickly! Glad to see you took my advice on Garth's grave. I'm in Kansas City right now but if you ever come back to Oklahoma let me know and I'll show you some other things that you've skipped on Rte 66. We can even do some more in Texas as well.
Not a typical April Oklahoma day for sure. A snowstorm and an earthquake all in the same day haha. I guess the weather was just showing out for you guys. But hopefully you got to see a few things and we'll get to come back sometime when the weather is nicer and really get to see more of the state :-)
Day 7. Great day. I see you survived the steak. Its sad to me that you see a lot of abandoned buildings on Route 66. Once the highway went in I guess people couldn’t stay in business.so sad. ❤️
I think the one in Williams, AZ was claimed to be the biggest 66 *road sign*, as in one that had been used for official purposes on the roadway. Not just the biggest 66 emblem period.
Why are people giving these vlogs a thumbs down? Are they pushing the wrong button, or don't know what's its for? These vlogs are great entertainment and so are you Jacob, please keep them coming and I'll keep watching!
The duo The Harley and Annabelle of Route 66 are also a singing duo. Popeye can not do without his pipe and spinach. It is a friendly old school village.
Howdy Jacob, you better stop at a thrift shop and get some long pants and a jacket because you're headed towards the winter belt states and it's still cold up here. Good luck and stay warm!
Funny....I just finished watching the Route 66 episode of Vice channel's "Abandoned"....according to them, there's NOTHING worth stopping at anywhere along the entire road....about what I'd expect from a show hosted by a pair of millennials.
snarkus63 Oh man, what a waste of a trip and equipment in that case! I'm a millennial and I am probably in the minority but I love these roadside attractions, the novelty shops and the old neon signs!
Why am I not surprised? I love old roadside attractions and weirdness. They must not have much imagination then. :) I have noticed that millennials think anyone who enjoys vintage things must be a hipster, it's silly.
i think the other route 66 sign was largest 'technically' as a steel/road sign 2D (one flat piece of metal). The national museum one looks 3D and not sure if its metal
The more I watch these videos, the more I hate myself for spending so much time at the 'typical' tourist attractions in the US. 6 weeks in a motorhome, straight across the country, and I saw none of the wonderful things you're showing us. *sniffle* Once in a lifetime opportunity, wasted.
I remember them talking about the removal of Popeye's pipe and tattoo. Turns out it was people just blowing test footage for a canned 3D Popeye movie waaaaaaaay out of proportion.
Do you if Garth's sister Betsy was buried there? I got to meet her and hang out with her at fan fair in 95. The year before 'The Man! ' signed autographs for 23 hrs. straight (heck it, I missed him then lol!) But, she was do sweet and even gave ne part of his booth with merch and all still attached! :)
What bridge was that you crossed over?? My late dad always talked about a tiny bridge crossing over into Oklahoma. I wondered if that one might have been it.
Jacob you are one of very few that can do justice to a pith helmet, there were alot in the 1950's
I really like all the old gas stations. Enjoy your day!
Best Content on You Tube , Thanks Jacob!!! ❤💙💚💛
I believe the Henry Fonda display is about "The Grapes of Wrath".
ThePunk
I totally agree.
I hope you and Adam spend sometime around Springfield, IL. Not only because of all the Lincoln sites but also the unique food attractions like Cozy Dog, the original corn dog.
Those mannequins all look severely demented. Also, route 66 has some of the coolest bridges I've seen.
The bridge was very cool. Get some rest. Cold weather came out of nowhere again for a few days. Even brought snow up North. Hope you are traveling in Large Marge!
"Hey Pappy. You poopin" in there?" My new favorite Carpetbagger catch phrase!
Toy-Addict just go knocking on bathroom doors and say it..🤣
I bet it's hilarious!!
Ha! Thanks
Love the Drone shots and background music.
Carpetbagger, through the years you have reached the point of a professional Documentary film maker.
I was expecting a video of you curled up and passed out in a corner after eating that steak, but I'm glad to see it looks like you are doing just fine!
No steak can slow me down
Gotta love those head-start tombstones :O
Dude at the Mother of the Route 66 graveside.... Was there eyeballs 👁 in the middle of the Roses 🌹🌹 😐
Really enjoying these Route 66 vlogs 👍🏻😁 so many strange and curious places and things, seriously lovin it ❣
I look forward to a day we can see a Carpetbagger World Tour series!
I want to go on this journey now. So many interesting things to see and learn. Thanks for letting us tag along. 💜💫💜💫

Loving those old cars
Is it just me or did you slip into an Adam The Woo impression a couple of times? Well whether you meant to or not it was funny to my ears and laughter is the best medicine making you guys the best doctors ever. Drive safe. See ya real soon.
Awesome video!

Safe travels to you and Adam!!
I love seeing the actual booth Elvis at ate!!!!
Great work Jacob and Adam! Greetings from Olympia, WA
Your Route 66 adventures are fantastic! I’m just happy you survived after eating that ginormous steak yesterday!
What a great 7th day vlog.... I always enjoy the cool birds eye view that possum provides for us. What are the odds that you keep running into old Pappy.... Crazy, right? I appreciate all the work you do on your videos on this trek. The drone footage is awesome.
Ya! Your in Elk City! Home, I was there just 2years ago. Just off rt.66.y mom was born and raised there. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Enjoy, I know I do.
Stephen Phillips I love that little town. It's pretty charming.
Love your videos. I like the drone adds. Just added you to my Patreon list.
Henry Fonda starred in the "Grapes of Wrath" which was about the Okies going to California during the depression.
Brother Jacob looks like you guys are definitely getting your kicks on Route 66 Oklahoma can be a little cold this time of year! Safe travels down the Mother Road my friend I look forward to more Adventures to come!
peace love and VDub grease!
More Pith Helmet!
@4:04 Magic bus!
Awesome drone footage
I "think" it's just called a pith. To add helmet is like saying cap hat or jacket coat.
I like Jacob in the "safari" helmet.
Keep up the good work guys
Hi Jacob, that doll with the red eyes was definitely possessed as it didn't even have it's feet on the ground, it was just levitating halfway up the wall lol. Great video, thank you and safe travels to you and Adam. xx
Nice job Jacob! Thank you!🤘🏼👍🏼

Fun times! Onward bound, TCB!👍
"Pappy!? What happened to your eyes!? Pappys been possessed by the deeevviilllll!!" Oh man, shot beer out of my nose on that one.
Day 7. Great day. I see you survived the steak. Its sad to me that you see a lot of abandoned buildings on Route 66. Once the highway went in I guess people couldn’t stay in business.so sad. ❤️
Hey Jacob, good to see ya!!Cool vlog...!Be safe, champ!😉

I think the one in Williams, AZ was claimed to be the biggest 66 *road sign*, as in one that had been used for official purposes on the roadway. Not just the biggest 66 emblem period.

The Pith stays, Carps. Frith wills it!
Why are people giving these vlogs a thumbs down? Are they pushing the wrong button, or don't know what's its for? These vlogs are great entertainment and so are you Jacob, please keep them coming and I'll keep watching!
Debbie M mean ppl suck ?
The duo The Harley and Annabelle of Route 66 are also a singing duo.
Popeye can not do without his pipe and spinach.
It is a friendly old school village.
You & Adam are truly AMAZING, Jacob. Much love sent your way.
Cool video
They're all good but this one is quite good! LOL
Another great one !!!!!
Jacob I am now convinced your a T-Rex 😂🦖👍
My mother actually used that type of permanent curler machine in the late 30’s and 40’s.
Oh those mannequins!! Hilarious.
Great video! I enjoyed it 👍🏻
keep following your dreams
over 88 thousand subscribers!
Those largest ROUTE 66 sign stories are starting to run 🏃 into each other.
Soooooo fun!!
Pappy doesn't need to explain himself.....He just does!!!!
I see that you successfully digested and recovered from you enormous steak dinner. I am really enjoying you videos; keep up the great work.
Those mannequins are actually preserved bodies. Creepy! The word body came up in my word suggestion before I even thought it. 0.p
You're in my state! (Sorry about the weather.)
Gene Savage Highly unusual for Oklahoma in April!
RhettyforFun Completely! The joke around here right now is that we're skipping Spring this year.
Gene Savage I guess we'll go from Winter to Tornado season!
Henry Fonda "Grapes of Wrath" which is basically My Grandfathers story
Henry Fonda was in the film adaptation of Grapes Of Wrath
Howdy Jacob, you better stop at a thrift shop and get some long pants and a jacket because you're headed towards the winter belt states and it's still cold up here. Good luck and stay warm!

Wow, that’s sad
Tell me about it....like it's not "cool"...or whatEVER term they use now...to find appeal in quirkiness and nostalgia.
Why am I not surprised? I love old roadside attractions and weirdness. They must not have much imagination then. :) I have noticed that millennials think anyone who enjoys vintage things must be a hipster, it's silly.
Don't pin that on milennials. Just pin it on what it really is: stupid people thinking stupid.
i think the other route 66 sign was largest 'technically' as a steel/road sign 2D (one flat piece of metal). The national museum one looks 3D and not sure if its metal
That’s dicey
Do a meetup in Tulsa!!!!
My lord! That red eyed nurse doll was a Shirley Temple!
Are you going to hit Joliet’s, Illinois Route 66 museum in downtown Joliet?
These route 66 videos are ridiculously entertaining! Haha, how will you top this?!?
Ted M Haha...I look forward to that, i think 😓
Maybe I was ear a 73 oz steak
The more I watch these videos, the more I hate myself for spending so much time at the 'typical' tourist attractions in the US. 6 weeks in a motorhome, straight across the country, and I saw none of the wonderful things you're showing us. *sniffle* Once in a lifetime opportunity, wasted.
Great video as always, love the content you create seeing as it's good for an underrated youtuber/vlogger.
adam and jacob : bigger crossover than avengers

Oklahoma means "Red Man:s Land" Don't Eat too much steak Jacob . Save a cow.
Franklin Holt well he recently ate a 72 oz steak in under an hour
Lol I don’t think that’s what the meant by it being “red mans land”
That red cross doll was creeeepy
The theme song. Is that music from something.. or maybe its just similar to something else I can't remember.
Roy Rogers was born Leonard Slye and was given his stage name by Republic Pictures and they took the Rogers from Will Rogers
Thank you! Makes sense
Molly Schuyler Destroys Three 72oz Steaks At 'The Big Texan' In Amarillo, Texas in 20 minutes.
You REALLY need to come to Ct to see the real Annabelle doll....and other allegedly cursed items. Would love to show you around
The museum is currently closed

Carpetbagger i live in Oklahoma. YOur not that far from me i really like your videos
Brenda Blystone Oklahoma has the biggest stretch of Rte 66. There's a lot to do and see there!
11000 views and only 1000 likes! come on people show some love!
Did ya clog up the septic system in Large marge from the big steak you consumed yesterday?
What bridge was that you crossed over?? My late dad always talked about a tiny bridge crossing over into Oklahoma. I wondered if that one might have been it.
Elvis never EAT there ! 😂😂😂
That mannequin was made to look like Sam Elliot.
Hope you don't skip over Tulsa! Tally's good food cafe is ( I think ) on route 66 and has the best chicken fry
Amber Pervez There are several interesting things up there!
After seeing the primitive hair curling machine, I was glad that I have such lush, naturally curly hair.
