This video got me thinking, what if Julius didn’t have any time left because Lucius reversed time? If anyone paid attention to the clock tower throughout the raid you’ll notice how time keeps seeming the change in a wonky way. I believe Julius actually defeated the ancient demon but because Lucius reversed time Julius had already used his time up. This is so Asta has to deal with the ancient demon and to arrive when he does. If Asta had shown up earlier and or Julius was able help they would have stopped Lucius plan. The result would end up in Lucifero not manifesting or them not being able to defeat Lucifero. These outcomes would destroy Lucius’ final goal which we only know one aspect of right now. I think Saint Stage is the key to defeating Lucius. There is ample evidence to believe Julius does not know about Saint Stage, especially if his future sight is limited to only seeing the outcome and not the action itself.
Time magic can be dangerous depending on the users but clover kingdom will be in trouble with lucius

I've long suspected that the undying bodies plan is BS (or at least not the whole story). At first, I figured that he said that stuff about undying bodies to get Zenon on his side. Now, I'm thinking that it's BS because he said that he needed all the Zogratis siblings' magics for the plan to work, and yet he just deliberately hanged his siblings out to dry.

I've seen your collab video with ABD and it's amazing..the only thing that confuses me is that I don't really think there was a second grimoire to be used by Lucius cuz Julius' coverless grimoire only "changed" its form into a covered one which then confirmed Lucius'...it was seen transforming so there really is no second grimoire but a second "form" of their grimoire which is I believe its "true form"
Databooks confirm that Julius' coverless grimoire is a clover kingdom grimoire, so it has to be a separate grimoire from Lucius' double-spade grimoire.
@@matthewmuir8884 well that can be just a false statement as well to deceive us all and besides, it doesn't explain why his supposed 1 page coverless grimoire left restored all the pages first before changing its form into a covered one which is a spade grimoire...if Julius really is a separate soul then his grimoire should not transform/change its form to be later be used by Lucius, instead, Lucius should show us his very own "separate" grimoire..but he didn't because what is shown is just a transformation into its "2nd form" (real form) not a revelation of a 2nd "separate" grimoire

It wasn't stitched together bruhh... think first that Julius' coverless grimoire had only one page left but when Lucius revealed himself, his grimoire restored all the pages and then it was seen changing its appearance into a covered one..if it's "stitched together", why need to take two forms?
@@joebertonez8997 I wasn't saying that it's literally "stitched together"; I was just saying that there is precedent in Black Clover for two separate grimoires to be artificially combined.
In any case, Julius became a magic knight at 15 (this was stated in the manga), one needs a grimoire to enter the magic knights, so he must've already had the grimoire at 15. He's 42. 42 - 15 = 27, so he almost certainly had the grimoire while Lucius was still in the Spade Kingdom.
I have a feeling that Julius is the time devil himself and probably lost his memory of being the time devil and could only use a fraction of his time magic

Edit: Never watched this series, but now have something new to binge.
The fact julius can “teleport” between attacks is, because he slows down the time of the attacks or everything around him and accelerate him in time. So basically he can just walk in between the attacks because it goes so slow for him and that let it seem he is teleporting to others.. (my english is not that good, but I hope you can understand) thats my thought of his power, I’m not sure it’s true but that’s how I thought it was :)
Just realised Lucius knew about nacht and his infiltration of the spade kingdom, meaning he wanted nacht there, also knowing he would train asta (Ultimate weapon for defeating lucifero) and which is also why the dark triad waited for them to train, was all apart of his plan….

Remember, time is Astaroths magic. Devil users have access to their devil's magic along with their own so Lucius has another type of magic we've yet to see

Is it possible to form different attack with time magical. I mean Julius used beams or projectile as offensiven attacks. But can he use offensive attacks which are shaped like a spear or something. Similar to other magic types, like light, fire or wind.

Time Magic is not only broken but also extremely rare as they’re are only three know individuals with that magic, Julius, Lucius, and Astaroth.
And even then, Lucius only has it because of Astaroth. Lucius' natural magic attribute is probably something like brain magic or soul magic.

@@stfu5013 I don't know if Julius naturally has time magic or not; at the very least, if he doesn't naturally have time magic, then he was led to believe that it was his natural magic attribute (and Lucius being able to purify underworld mana goes a long way towards explaining why no one, including Julius, realized anything was wrong).
As for the grimoire, he never saw the cover because, when he has it, it is a coverless grimoire. More definitely needs to be explained regarding Julius' grimoire, since we were outright shown with the other devil hosts (Vanica, Dante, and Zenon) that their grimoires only hold the spells of their natural magic attribute: in Dante's fight with Yami, for example, Dante's grimoire doesn't even open until he uses his natural flesh magic to heal himself. And yet, Julius' grimoire is outright shown to be a time magic grimoire.
I find it very weird that a man that been traveling most of life looking for new/unique magic and also has knowledge of the past, how does he not know he is the only time magic user in history? Maybe im missing something but that dont add up. Damnesio(tried my best spelling it) was able to look through kingdom records and notice this. Wouldnt the wizard king have access to these same records?
Yeah; that is weird. That said, Julius' knowledge of the past does have its limits (he had no idea about the elves for instance).
I think lucius manipulated julius's mind to make sure julius wouldnt question these things to much ( am I the only human with time magic? How come the two people I cared about like sons are the same people used in the ritual?) If julius questioned these things he would find out about lucius's presence, which lucius wouldn't want to happen

what if Julius can transform because he has soul magic from Lucius zagratis and anyone he steals time from essentially using his soul magic he can transform into them well the way they look I mean it’s far-fetched but it is possible at his level of power

I would like Tabata finally explain what it means to be loved mana so hopefully in this new arc he will.
I think all it means is that there is some sort of living aspect to mana and it favors certain types of people (yuno)(elves)so they are able to use mana better and create more powerful spells than an average person would be able to do

Maybe Julius grimore is 5 leaf clover so it contains a devil, more particularly a time magic devil astaroth. That's why astaroth escaped the underworld. ❤️❤️
He made a pact like Nacht and Asta. The devil escaped through the cliphoth, devils can't just possess a grimiore, it takes special circumstances. They have to be present in the world of the living to be sealed in one in the first place. Also there aren't clovers on his grimiore but spades since he's from the spade kingdom. He does have 2 spades on his grimiore though so that's curious. It could just mean luck like the 4th leaf means in the Clover Kingdom

He gets the devil's magic through the ritual like Nacht and Asta. It's just that while the gates to the underworld are closed they can only access 80% of the devil's full power
did we ever stop to consider that julius could be a hybrid like charmy? i know im not the only one who has wondered why he has 2 magic types, unless they are trying to say something like maybe that old lady julius likes to turn into was a past or future life and with time magic he rewinds or forwards to that, the only problem is he turns into other people besides the old lady. I also thought maybe he had a magic item that lets to take the appearance of others. those are my two best theories.

I still maintain that Dante's magic should've been called Flesh Magic. The original Japanese word used can be translated as "body" or "flesh", all his spells revolved around creating tendrils of flesh, and "Flesh, Blood & Bones" is a set; "Body, Blood, Bones" is not.
Can julius time reversal spells turn asta devil arm back to his human arm or the anti magic will automatically nullify it. Another way asta devil arm could be grey transmutation magic, Morris modification magic.
I don't think they can; Asta agreed to trade his arm, and he's bound to it unless the deal gets undone.
Speaking of Morris, part of me hopes that he somehow survived; Mars deserves to finally have a Mars vs Morris fight.
Also I would to know more about Healing Magic Ex is it easier for someone who attack mage to learn healing magic later on or do you have be like Mimosa who was Healing Mage first before learning attack magic, How often or many healing mages are born or exist (Cause seems to be rare), If you have a special or rare magic like Light Magic is it more likely you will be like Patri having attack and healing magic etc..?
Mimosa's healing is a technique attributed to her plant magic as plants are used to make medicine and heal. She's developed her magic to control the speed of the healing properties of certain plants
maybe julius demon has transformation magic or julis has transformation and the devil have time magic

Im kinda confused. So Beezlebub is the devil of Space but like 5 people have that type of magic. I know loropecha explained that since the clover kingdom is capable of producing magic that are not one of the 4 elements also Curse magic stems from Megicula. so in conclusion does anyone that use Space magic get it from Beelzebub?
Doubtful. More likely that the spatial magic is a result of the Clover Kingdom's urbanization, just like steel magic and the other non-natural magic attributes that the Clover Kingdom has.

@@spacemanisaiah3374 I don't know. I honestly think that time magic is Julius' natural magic attribute, since he had the grimoire and time magic when he joined the grey deer at age 15, and he's 42, so him joining the grey deer probably happened while Lucius was still in the Spade Kingdom.
Oh; I just remembered that there was a diamond kingdom assassin that also had spatial magic (he appeared in the anime episodes that went into how Asta met Fanzell: that wind mage from the diamond kingdom). This is definitely interesting.

my main question is why did they wait until after the elves where brought back? was it to make the kingdoms stronger ?? if so wouldnt the way to make all the kingdoms stronger be ; display strength and tell all the kingdoms to be stronger to combat said strength??? why go through all this just like how megicula got the entire clover kingdom stronger by telling the heart queen "be ready" for his return??? like clearly the great spirits know how to combat demons and know the level the mages would have to surpass and at the time clover kingdom had 3 out of 4, maybe the damn gnome or earth spirit is the smartest/ highest defense
I don't think Lucius or the Dark Triad anticipated the elves at all; if anything, the elves were a threat to the plan as, if they succeeded in destroying the Clover Kingdom, they would've succeeded in depriving the dark triad of Yami and William.
There was no way for Lucius or the Dark Triad to even know about the elves anyway, as the elves were forgotten to history and the dark triad and Lucius are from the Spade Kingdom.
@@matthewmuir8884 i dont think any of the siblings besides the oldest had a real understanding of the roles they where playing either im referring to the oldest lucient or astaroth (the demon) who's been watching the whole time why did he wait he knew about the elves and everything. but its clear they wanted the kingdom to be stronger because he says finally the strongest WK? also im under the assumption lucious was there the whole time and knew via astaroth and based on other possessions they see everything going on

Zagred left the underworld and killed the elves 500 years before the events of the story, while Astaroth escaped 20 years before the story's events, and Patry woke up when William turned 16 (William's 25); there isn't really a time where he could've learned about what Zagred did, even with his time magic.
Plus, I'd much rather that the elves caught him off-guard and wasn't part of his plan, as not every evil plan needs to be the unwitting pawn of the final boss' evil plan (and writing it that way is just boring; see All for One in My Hero Academia for proof of that).

Can time magic be considered Julius own or the devil, I think we never really see him use his magic type or maybe we did.
I suspect that it is his own. Other characters can tell when someone is using underworld mana; they describe it as "ominous" or "not that of a human or an elf" and stuff like that, and no one ever said anything like that about Julius' time magic.

@@stfu5013 I wrote that comment before we learned that Lucius has the power to purify underworld mana, which explains why no one (including Julius himself) recognized Julius' magic as using underworld mana.
Also, Julius does know how his grimoire looks: when he has it, it is a coverless grimoire.

okay so, I don't want to rewatch theory videos until I find it again, but one of them said Julius was confirmed to have a 3 leaf grimoire by the creator, I don't remember exactly how, but I don't buy that, I like to think that was a cover up for this exact moment so people would think Julius was a separate soul and make people think he can be saved. I believe he said that so no one would question him about Julius, like if he left Julius blank I believe people would have put 2 and 2 together probably would have been a little off but there would have been 2 theories 1: Julius had a 4 leaf grimoire or he was a devil host kind of like astsa, true neither of those were true but one was close right? So all things considered right now I hope all not some but all of the theory videos that I've seen are wrong because I feel like that's just way to easy of a conclusion. I'd like to believe that Lucius (however it's spelled) has mind magic and that Julius isn't real. Is there anyway, what I'm saying, has some possible truth to it or am I just over thinking things, if I am over thinking things I don't want to try to hold black clover up to unrealistic standards. And if I am I just hope I can like this final arc, honestly.
I don't know about three-leaf grimoire, but I know that databooks confirmed that Julius' coverless grimoire is a clover kingdom grimoire, so it and Lucius' double-spade grimoire are separate grimoires.

Another interesting bit about Julius that we know from the manga is that Julius became part of the Grey Deer squad at age 15 (Julius is 42), almost-certainly while Lucius was still in the Spade Kingdom.

Honestly, I am more than fine with this being two souls in one body, mainly because the dynamic is completely different: William was a voluntary host of Patry and saw him as a dear friend, while Julius clearly didn't know about Lucius and is definitely not a willing host.

Except Julius' coverless grimoire is a time magic grimoire, and characters can tell when other characters are using underworld mana and no one says anything of the sort about Julius, so Julius clearly has time magic as his magic attribute.
I think his transformation magic and time magic is similar to the other dark triad members having 2 magic types (body/bone/blood and devil magic).
I don't think so. All evidence points to time magic being Julius' natural magic attribute; no one ever describes his magic as "ominous" or "not that of a human or an elf", and he even has a time magic grimoire.

It has to have a range, if not Dante could've killed everyone on the planet by increasing the world's gravity. Asta is the only person I can think of that can actually stand up against Lucius. I think he'll develop some kind of anti magic mana zone so others will be able to fight beside him
Yuno should also be able to fight against him with his star magic since time, along with space are both relative and would be effected depending on how dense andhe can create the mass within them
