    Brilliant video Greg. There was a lot going on the site therefore they needed you to give them confidence that all is well. At least the houses will be on good footing since they are sitting on the piles. Superb video.

    Greg, how to deal with lattice plank: seting out the edge and transfer points on the slab? Thank's.

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  2 роки тому

      What do you want to mark there. Can't you just tape after installation?

    • @unknow-tn8fo
      @unknow-tn8fo 2 роки тому

      @@SITENG let's say i ned to mark some Columns. But all around there is screen protectors. So from ground floor I need to transfer points on the top of the slab, but how if the slab is not poured yet, it's only rebar.

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  2 роки тому

      nothing there the set the targets on? maybe on the screens and each time survey them after lift for the next level. No core there? You would need a station below - pin on the slab and then set up on top (you would need an opening in the slab where your station is) It's hard to advise really if I am not there

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  3 роки тому

      Hi Jordan! This is the video, I was using reference line with offset having the corners co-ordinates. See my last video where I show how to bring the info into the robotic. Please follow my LinkedIn page where soon you will be able to download some drawings and than you can see the info yourself :)

    Is a HND in civil engineering a good enough qualification to get started as a civil engineer?

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  2 роки тому +1

      Hi! It's definitely enough, the most important is your attitude as this determines the pace you will learn and be useful for the company 😁 All the best, keep looking for assistant engineer, junior engineer role, you're more than ready for it, you will learn all on site👍👍

    Is it possible to get an apprenticeship in this

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Qazi! Yes it is, you need to look for it though. Some companies offering 1 day a week college while working 4 days on site which is even better I think.

    • @thebestdeath1321
      @thebestdeath1321 2 роки тому +1

      I would say get the apprenticeship at around a degree level, go college and do a civil engineering level 3 extended diploma and get DDM or DMM
