First time ive commented on this channel page for a very long time, as its not a pleasant place to be sadly, but ive followed this horse ever since he came over from France in the summer of 2022, and followed every race, and im really pleased to see him doing so well. I love racing for the horses and not the betting, so it doesnt matter that hes not the greatest in the world to me, ill just continue to enjoy him, and look forward to where his career goes.
@@leighmerlin well said👍 yeah, the comment section can get a bit horrid at times, but it shouldn't stop you from having your say. Just ignore any trolls. I find some quite amusing
I don't comment 90% of the time either A load of Gen Z and Millennials trolls, mugs, 🤡 and generally ignorant, distasteful, individuals. Better things to do with my time, as they are not worth the oxygen tbh.
Oh man ... just 4 runners in this race at the great Sandown Park... with a lovely rhododendron walk to and from the track ..... Meanwhile back in my old Green country... the fields are much larger.. C'mon my U.K.racing leadership friends.. (as your Cockney guys might say)...."Sort it out" !!.😮 ❤🏇🏿🏇🏿🏇🏿🏇🏿🏇🏿
it will have to be the arkle . the old 2and half novice chase has gone. that race would have been perfect for that horse. i dont think he has enough speed for the arkle.
The winner gets the same prize money regardless of who he beat, the history books will also have his name in them as a grade 1 winner with no asterix beside it saying he beat nothing. You can only beat what's in front of you or in one case already this season where we had a graded race with only one runner, highlighting the sad state of UK jump racing at the moment.
Dowm memory lane doesn't fire on soft and wouldn't have won regardless. The best horse won I was quite impressed it was very sticky ground and kept galloping through the line. I think 2.4f on better ground suits ideally

I suppose they find a way
Good horse but I would be surprised if he good enough for a Arkle
😂😂
Skelton said he’s the best horse in the yard. He’s got Grey Dawning.
Looks hard work up that Sandown hill today
Find a way
Probably because it was bog out there and the headwind was quite strong
Doesn’t look like an Arkle winner to me.
Maybe not but he has just won a grade 1 race, wouldn't mind owning a horse that could do that.
@ to be fair he didn’t have a lot to beat. His main opponent never ran his race.

Workmanlike. Beat nothing. No chance at Cheltenham 👎
