Fishing FinAddict have caught gators and snakes on limb lines. And caught sharks and sting rays 50-60 miles up river. I guess maybe not crazy but definitely unexpected! Lol 😂
I think the sea lion I had in my crab trap for a bit when I lived in the West Coast was my craziest, though I will admit, it was more me feeding him my bait than an actual catch:)
It was a 3 foot hoop net and had a salmon head in it for bait. The sea lion lunged into the net when I was pulling it in. Not thinking, I tussled with it for a few seconds, then tied the line off to a piling until it had finished eating. At least I got the crab net back.....
Thanks, man! That's awesome! Someone mention the don't usually fight like they did for us. Was is a battle for you? I'm still surprised we landed that thing. (Had 14# fluoro on.)
You guys are addicted!!! Always fun to watch ! the storm didn’t stop you and even a day like this became a day to remember!!! I would be more worried bringing that stingray in the boat , brave fish handle !good job over all
They don't call us Fishing FinAddicts for nothing 😄 Stan has stingray handling down to a science! (He uses a shoe to control the stinger while removing the hook). Thanks so much for the continued support, KWF!
Thank you for watching! We tried for the trout! 1 always seems to elude us for the slam. We are still surprised to be seeing gar here inshore. We're wondering if the big freeze allowed them to gain a bit of a foot hold. Are they prevailent where you are?
Fishing FinAddict o yeah they are everywhere here! We have like 3 deferent species of them. Long nose, spotted and alligator gar. The alligator gar gets several hundred pounds!
I've actually caught a few of them bluegill fishing on # 8 and #10 hooks. They are hard to land. Good job landing that one. Love your videos, recently subbed. Salt Strong!
Hey guys! Thanks for subscribing to our channel! Living in the Florida Keys certainly has its perks! You guys have a cool channel and we subscribed this evening. Keep up the great work!! - FLORIDA FISHING COUPLE @UA-cam
Thank you! We really appreciate it. We have to admit we're always daydreaming of the Keys. But we can't complain too much. We know we're lucky to live here in Charleston. Thanks again for stopping by!
That's crazy! This one put up a decent fight. Are gar common where you are? Stan's fished here his whole life and hasn't come across them until this year. We wonder if the major freeze might have allowed them to gain a foot hold. Thanks for watching!!
Fishing FinAddict they are very common in the river that I fish. Usually in slow moving parts of the river. Some trophy ones that I have seen, but very hard hook. I make my own lures and fish for them on occasion. Was actually planning to catch some tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to post a video.
I bet that was interesting! Are gar prevailent where you are? Do you have different types there? This was our first gar encounter so were curious what's out there. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for checking out the channel, Chris! The nearest we've fished to Cape Romain would be Capers. We tend to stick around MTP, SI and IOP. Would love to do some camping and fishing out that way though.
That marsh tarpon 😄 was a CRAZY catch! What has been your craziest catch??
Fishing FinAddict have caught gators and snakes on limb lines. And caught sharks and sting rays 50-60 miles up river. I guess maybe not crazy but definitely unexpected! Lol 😂
That's awesome! I think those all count as crazy catches! I'd especially be surprised to find those sharks and rays that far up.

The Shore Fisherman That is a really crazy catch! Was it a big trap or a small sea lion? Thanks for sharing and for watching!!

That was AWESOME! Good fishin guys!!
Thanks so much! We appreciate the sub too 😊
Cool catch. I've never landed one, but one bite right through my line. Nice way to wait out the storm.

What a day - riding the storm out and then catching all those different fish!
Thanks for watching, HB! It was an awesome adventure. We hope you’ve been having some epic adventures out there on the left coast!
Nice spotted gar! That was a awesome catch!
Would have got a speck that would have been a slam! Glad that storm didn’t mess y’all up!

Whoa! Alligator gar are crazy! I don't think I'd want to go to battle with one of those.
Wow.... 😱
Thanks for watching, buddy!
Great video guys keep it up!
Thanks, man! Really appreciate it!
Fishing FinAddict I really like the teaser and the faded logo in the beginning!
Thanks a lot! We've been considering creating an intro (with clips) but we really like how the logo has been looking on videos so far.
Fishing FinAddict 100% agree
Nice Multi Species Day + Gargantuos Toofus!!
Thank you for watching, Wes!! We'll be glad to get to leave the skunk hat at home on the next trip. Gargantuos toofus. Lol. I like it!

Crazy how much he jumped! I caught one a few days a go and it didn't fight hardly at all.

That's awesome! And very cool that you make your own lures. Looking forward to seeing you catch 'em up!
Fun catch! I accidentally snagged one like that on the tail fishing for white bass. Talk about a hard fight.
I bet that was interesting! Are gar prevailent where you are? Do you have different types there? This was our first gar encounter so were curious what's out there.
Thanks for watching!!
We have spotted and alligator. I live in Central Texas and they are very common.
Very cool! We’ve seen some crazy videos of alligator gar catches. Have a great weekend!
Last weekend we caught six long nose on jug lines.
Do yall ever fish cape Romain?
Thanks for checking out the channel, Chris! The nearest we've fished to Cape Romain would be Capers. We tend to stick around MTP, SI and IOP. Would love to do some camping and fishing out that way though.
#GarGoo
Radioactive #GarGoo! Lol. Thank you so much for watching!
Ok. I had to pause... let go of his “beak”?
Lol! I guess you'd call it a bill. But maybe beak was a good diversion, like Carah caught a pelican 😄
Nice trip and seeing the flounder made me hungry lol I added your channel add mine back if you can! Thanks and happy fishing!
Thanks a lot! You're right. Flounder are delicious! We're looking forward to checking out your channel.
Thanks as well and my channel is a mix bag just a heads up ;)
