    There are 16 indigenous tribes that have been recognized by the government of Taiwan to this moment but they have more than 1,000 settlements or villages around the island. Their cultures and languages are various and sundry but there all belong to Austranesian people who spread the Pacific from Taiwan to Maori in New Zealand.
    According to the recent researches, Taiwan was the original place of Austranesian people because almost all the tribes in the Pacific can find their language elements in Taiwan and not only the number of 1 to 10 sounds similar but also the organs or features in the face like eyes are pronounced similar too.

    • @LayersOfJenn
      @LayersOfJenn  3 роки тому +2

      Someone else mentioned that 1 - 10 sounds similar to the Maori language. So organs also can sound similar for some of the languages!?

    • @Lili-fq9ry
      @Lili-fq9ry 3 роки тому +4

      @@LayersOfJenn I once attended their yearly festival called illisin (豐年祭). Some of their elders had been to southeast Asia before and they told me out of 10 organs on the body, at least 5 organs sound exactly the same way or similar among their languages.

    The mountain chicken has a better flavor because they are free to do exercise everyday, they are not restricted in the feeding room growing together. You can tell from its yellow skin color and more fat than regular chicken.

    I grew up in the mountains, though probably not as grand as there. If you ever make a trip to the USA, I highly recommend a visit to the New River Gorge and to Snowshoe Mountain (both in WV). Amazing places in the Appalachian Mountains. Interesting thing at 9:09 - the man's vest has a swastika in the border - but I bet it's either Chinese or Buddhist symbolism (not the bad meaning). But what a cool experience to learn about the tribes and especially the bow and arrow.

      Ohhh the Appalachian mountains would be amazing to get too! And yes actually the symbol for them is a representation of thunder and the thunder god. The other tribe is the gods eye or ancestors eye. The man giving the tour is from another tribe (not the two mentioned) but me married into one of the tribes for his wife❤️ He said that his tribe uses a rainbow as their tribe marker.
