Anime: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Vento Aureo (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 黄金の風)
Episode 12: Fugo tries his best to fight Man in the Mirror indirectly but Illuso easily bests him while Purple Haze's actions cause one of the capsules on his fist to crack, revealing its ability to release a deadly flesh-eating virus. Abbacchio decides to prioritize the objective but Giorno insists on helping Fugo, and Abbacchio leaves Fugo to his fate. Meanwhile, Illuso approaches Fugo for a coup de grâce.

Monado Ace well, hopefully they adapt his OVAs or the studio themselves give him a bit more scenes idk, I was already sad when Kakyoin (who was my insta fav character when he appeared) basically has 3 useful moments thought SC....reeeally didn’t want to be the case again, but It seems I just have a shitty preference for favorite characters 🤷🏽♂️

I like how Purple Haze is pretty much completely harmless unless provoked. I feel like that and the fragile orb things are meant to represent Fugo's sense of safety/security. Like, if he's left alone, he'll just vibe, but the moment someone or something causes him stress, the fight or flight response is activated and its time to bash someone's head in with a book
Basically me (the book part nit included)
and then in distortion, fugo becomes more confident and doesn't have to be provoked to attack people i guess?

This episode is really good. Not only they have my favorite characters, Fugo & Giorno, but the teamwork between the three of them is really awesome! And Giorno is very charismatic here!

Something really cool about Purple Haze is how when it shows how it has the constant need to be clean it reflects on how Fugo was assaulted and molested, and how he most likely feels dirty in his own body.
