The sound demo starts at 4:26. I take a moment to explain how the Trition Rack generates its sounds before the actual sound demo. My unit’s memory and EXB-PCM expansion ROM slots are maxed out, which makes it a powerhouse of sound even today. I tried to cover many sounds from a wide variety of categories in the unit. I hope this video is helpful for anyone who is interested.
I got my hands on a Triton classic earlier this year at guitar center for $200.00 it's like my 3rd unit still very useful in my opinion. The strings are top notch.I always remembered that. That's why i grabbed it and it has a decent sampler.
Thank you for this video so do you know if exist a good sound editor for real Korg Triton Rack ? Because the front panel is really not easy as Kurzweil too Thank you in advance for your help dear Power Cat Cheers from Belgium ;)

Well thank you for your in-depth videos about this awesome unit, i have bought one recently and i love all those sounds and cannot wait to make the most of it. But i have a main issue; I have it connected it to a midi controller (JUNO `AlpHA 1) the signal is being picked up by the unit everytime i press a key (red LED blinks), but no sounds is comes out. While i press the Audition button on the unit, i can hear the sounds being played as Demos. Any idea why? I cannot work it out and any help would be appreciated, thank you
Hello, I used to play a triton studio... now I bought the triton rack, but...I cannot play sequences made in the Studio.. how can I do it? thanks in advance.... just another comment... in the Studio I can edit sounds, volume, pan, effects etc in the sequences.. but the Rack is totally different....help me please...
We know the rack does not have a built-in sequencer so you will need to use an external one. Most folks use a DAW and of course connect via MIDI. With this, you can sequence with this unit much in the same way you did before, except that you should have more features to work with using a DAW. I hope this helps and thanks for watching. 👍🏿
@@PowercoatMusic Well, I think is my lost... thanks again dude, do you have a video where you can show how to connect to a daw or an external sequencer?
im pretty sure i will buy one soon.. because i believe in hardware, in the real thing...altho korg has released a copy plugin of triton and triton extreme i believe this is what i will need to make better music at home
I understand, and will definitely keep that in mind. There are tons of other great sounds on the Triton Rack that I just didn’t have time to add. I’m really glad you liked the video.
@@PowercoatMusic There are some sounds that had their riffs changed since the Triton Le such as "Ravelian Pad" , "Auto Pilot", "Ensemble Bell", and more. There's also some that are even pitched.
Hello I use to have the korg triton le now I have the rack little different where is the category button when u select a sound it's now shown on the rack please help
There is no specific “Category” button on the Triton Rack. The Category is selected by navigating to a menu. Here's how: Click the “PROG” button and then press the [F8] (“UTILITY”) to access the Utility menu. Press the [F7] key to choose “Select by Category.” Press the [F8] (“OK”) key. The “Select Program by Category” dialog box will appear. Choose “Cat” and use the [INC], [DEC] keys to select the category. I hope this information helps.
Agreed. I7 is my go to module and it's a monster. However, Triton has some consistently great patches/tones and the ability to add on to the unit makes it extremely flexible. It's still one of my all-time favorites. Thanks for watching and sharing. 👍🏿

How do I get the Korg M1 piano and Korg 01W dyno piano sounds into the Triton?
Or samples of the Nord EP layers?
This is how it should be done! Thanks for taking the time and sharing.
You're most welcome. Thanks for watching. 👍🏿

Can you something on the Roland Phantom also.. I enjoyed this video
Thanks for watching and sharing. I currently don’t have access to a Phantom, but if and when that changes I will put it on the list.

Most of the sounds appeared in the TR. There's some unused sounds and riffs in the C and D banks. Please show us some more demos.
Please stay tuned, more demos are in the works. Thanks for watching! 😉

Nice module. The integra 7 resonates more with me though. If I had to choose between the 2, i7 would be my choice.
