It's super fun, and can sometimes be the easiest way through a section, so I always encourage people to learn. But there's still nothing wrong with staying on the ground.
I just learn bike park table tops last year. If you check my "progression" video... you'll see we all start from humble beginnings 😊🤙🏽 but with some faith and coaching, we can improve -sam
Dont downplay your ability bro. Your improving every video you post. Your seasons never end. Its like yer a trail chaser. Your Florida trip videos are awesome.
That place looks like so much fun! Especially if you're looking to get better at jumping. So many different little hits to help get you comfortable for a variety of situations.
The fact that you show and explain your limitations on the trail and are 100% REAL is the #1 reason I believe in my opinion are he best MTB You tuber out there! You give me tips and tricks watching you and as a beginner that are extremely helpful and also because of your realness the confidence too make me get out there more. Thank You!
Everywhere in Florida there water nothing you can do about it just hope you don't get in water many people have died doing that because of health problems where they can't Breed or they get a flesh eating infection but it never snows like ever so...
Man your videos just lift my spirits! You have such an amazing, positive attitude. You are a hell of a rider but I would watch anyway just because your joy is so infectious! Props bro! Team Viper loves Alifia!!!
Glad you enjoyed riding in FL, there is so much more as you said, but I am sure you find that everywhere you travel, also glad you were able to succeed at your gator sighting, keep riding new places it is great to see.
It’s rad that you spent sometime in Florida hope you got some good eats. Thanks for keeping it real not just showing the good. It’s something we all can relate too. It definitely shows when it’s your day and day out trail Tonka has this down packed. Good ride always fun to watch.
Love Alafia. We have plenty of trails. Balm Boyette is about 20 min from Alafia. Then you got Santos in Ocala. Markham in Sunrise. Amelia in Hialeah. Virginia Key in Key Biscayne. Oleta in North Miami. Awesome content. Ride or die!
I go every weekend to Alafia and I've seen a gator 👀🐊 only once. You saw like 3 on different spots! Cool 🤘😎. BTW, you make everything look so simple, I've done some of the trails in the video and I have to take breaks in between because I'm out of breath! 😅😅😅
Nice video bro! Your rides are very inspirational. I really want to get out there, see new places, and make awesome videos of those trips! Keep up the good work!
Glad you have fun.Markam is the best in Fort Lauderdale, Quiete water park and Delray park are excellent for quick cardio. You should have passed by, I heard there is a Fl.Panther cruising around this areas😖.
Yes! I'm riding both these Friday, then u have to get the Captains BBQ at mala compra after riding. Idk why no one knows about these trails, both are gnarly and great
Freaking great video man! My buddy and i just got back from alafia 💪💯 haven't been in 5 years and I'm super thrilled with all the upgrades they've done on all the trails 🤙
Thanks for giving a shoutout to the south Florida trails at the end of the video. We barely make it to 50 feet elevation at Virginia Key, but its our little piece of heaven away from city life just two miles away from downtown Miami. Maybe next time BKXC can make it to the VKBC.
Balm Boyette is basically like Alafia's little brother lol. It's pretty nice, don't get me wrong but all the big and flashy stuff is gonna be in Alafia
On the hunt for gators are ya! If you want to see another you should visit Babcock Ranch Preserve for a gravel ride or better yet to launch a kayak for the up and close. You should see a gator or two, three...:0 Great video!
Breaking news! In a daring feet to jump the swamp, BKXC nearly eaten by extra large Florida Gator, saved by old woman on a horse. LOL! Kidding aside... loved the post. keep'm coming, that swamp gape is a cartoon feature, if you come up short you really could be eaten by a gator! LOVE IT!
I think I’ve landed in the swamp at least 5 times by the 12th minute Brian. Sick tracks. You’ll have to come down under and do the Cape to Cape, Reef to Reef and Port to Port events. Lots of excellent tracks and a great atmosphere for expert and amateur riders a like.
I love FLA... I’ll be back soon to hit Santos in OCF after Sea Otter. I’m ready for the snow to melt to ride Tahoe again. Keep Rocking it Brain... Dave
You can make a basic but useful derailleur hanger alignment tool for $10-15. There's even a tutorial on YT. But it's always good to have an extra hanger or two for out on the trails.
You know what is the difference between BXXC 's channel and others that he replies and loves every comment . Other's don't reply or like an comment . Hey bro when you got 1 million subscribe's don't forget us . 😀😀
Mr Tonka - Why didn't you hit that Swamp gap? Geoff from Two Broke Spokes and I were just talking about us old folks and the Swamp Gap yesterday hahaha
@@MrTonka Ha, true that. We did the math and figured that's a 100% or 50% jump. You gotta make it 100%, there is no 80% with a case, 80% down to about 60% is front tire first in to a wall, but 50% is a splash in the water.
I was down there a couple weeks ago for a few days and saw at least 5 guys land that jump on their front wheel so don't feel bad. I'm bummed you didn't go to Balm I think you would have liked it the most.
Great video Brian. I am also working on my jumps. I know I can do it. Is my mental limits that stops me from doing more. And the fact that I have 5 kids at home that I need to go home to .😁 stay safe my brother. God bless.
Pleasantly surprised by how good these Florida trails look. Very unique.
Me too!
Matt Man i wouldlove to ride thems trails. What a day that would be!
Matt Man I agree
I
I just rode here yesterday and they are pretty incredible trails. They put a ton of time in to perfect them.
Man we have to be creative! No mountains here except the landfills...and we have even used one of them! LOL!
I'm 100% certain if I rode there I would end up in the swamp.
Bobby Danger same I would crash so much cus there’s so many sharp turns I would be in with the gators.
I ride there alot its really not to hard depending on what trails u rids
I ride there a lot like every week and I’ve fallen into the swamp once lol and almost ran it to a 9 ft gator on the trail called buzzard bay.😂
Same
I was there yesterday for the first time, it's incredibly scary making those turns on the ledge near the swamps
But a stunning place
Wow riding next to that water looks terrifying
Non-jumper here. I've been MTB'ing since the 80's and still can't jump well. No shame in that :-)
The vast majority of mountain bikers aren’t jumpers. Never shame in being a mountain biker. :)
It's super fun, and can sometimes be the easiest way through a section, so I always encourage people to learn. But there's still nothing wrong with staying on the ground.

MTB Zen Master a good coach is important. 👍
Tony I’m with you! Wheels down always!
Ugh! At the bottom of those Frankensteps, I would've gone for a Frankenswim. ..that was a suprise sharp turn! Well ridden....
I still can’t figure out why i warn people about that. I should just go film them doing it blind. haha
I love that they use a lot of pavers / cinderblocks to do the berms. It looks super durable and probably saves a bit of trailwork in the long term.
so heavy to move though.
Yea, especially with all the short n punchy grades the up and down would take a big toll on them.
Dont downplay your ability bro. Your improving every video you post. Your seasons never end. Its like yer a trail chaser. Your Florida trip videos are awesome.
Thanks Jay!
That place looks like so much fun! Especially if you're looking to get better at jumping. So many different little hits to help get you comfortable for a variety of situations.
It’s pretty good. :)
@@MrTonka I may have to hit you up! You look like you've improved.
I loved it!
Bugsy Siegel bring it down!
Unique trails for sure, miss a turn end up in the swamp and be a gators lunch lol

Thanks a million Chuck
I can't get over how rad those handlebars look.
Seen it from the time it was installed. At first I wasn't a big fan but the 1 piece bar/stem is growing on me.
No way to adjust bar roll though. 🎭
People love em or hate em!
The terrain looks so unique and cool! Tonka seems like a good guide as well!
Congrats on the 🐊 sightings! Those trails crazy good.
Everywhere in Florida there water nothing you can do about it just hope you don't get in water many people have died doing that because of health problems where they can't Breed or they get a flesh eating infection but it never snows like ever so...
I didn't think they had such nice trails in Florida ride on love your videos
Man your videos just lift my spirits! You have such an amazing, positive attitude. You are a hell of a rider but I would watch anyway just because your joy is so infectious! Props bro! Team Viper loves Alifia!!!
This looks awesome.
This would make a nice setting for a gator horror/ wilderness survival movie.
I went there yesterday, LOADS of fun!
What an incredible landscape! So different from any other environment you've ridden. That parks looks like a blast to ride!
One of a kind, no doubt about it!!
Glad you enjoyed riding in FL, there is so much more as you said, but I am sure you find that everywhere you travel, also glad you were able to succeed at your gator sighting, keep riding new places it is great to see.

Alfredo Gomez also some great trails up in Tallahassee, and they’re only getting better.
Whenever I see vultures on a ride, I take it as a commentary on my fitness - like they're just waiting for me to drop.
Mike Simms Uh Lol 😂...
Hahah yep!
thats usually when I start putter pepper in my water bottle so they don't have to season me themselves
The pre trail wheelies glad I’m not the only one who does this
The trails look so much fun. I'd ride those all day, session after session. I'll have a cook out too if it's allowed for a long lunch break.
There are restrooms, a bike shop, picknic tables, grills, and a pavilian. Good to go for an all day event.
It's such a killer setup for getting your buddies together and making a whole day of it!
My favourite series of trails that you've done Brian.
Nice!
That is the most wildlife that I have ever seen in an Alafia trail video!
Haha nice!
I go every weekend to Alafia and I've seen a gator 👀🐊 only once. You saw like 3 on different spots! Cool 🤘😎. BTW, you make everything look so simple, I've done some of the trails in the video and I have to take breaks in between because I'm out of breath! 😅😅😅
I make it over there a few times a month and am out of breath halfway through Twisted Sister.
We got pretty lucky then!! Thanks Luis
I love how you have your camera setup; picture is incredible while your voice is super clear. Nice job!
Gatorback is one of my favorite trails. Lots of tech, and punchy climbs. You work for it on that trail
Hell yes!
Welp, riding trails with steep drop off's into gator infested swap....that's raising the bar for risky business. Bravo BKXC! Haha
Great video! Alafia is a fun place! I fell into the water next to a gator on the north creek trail a few weeks back, not fun LOL
Lol that's super cool. Love it that you get to cycle amongst the wild life. Mr Tonka uber guide lol. Thanks for the adventure.
He was a great guide!
Nice video bro! Your rides are very inspirational. I really want to get out there, see new places, and make awesome videos of those trips! Keep up the good work!
love these Florida vids man! good stuff
Got the gators! Crazy Pirates of the Caribbean trails! Need some skeletons and treasure chests. Tonka can boost them jumps. Awesome vid!
Hahaha for sure!
Alafia seems to have a ton of fun trails!!
As someone who comes from the UK. I think I would do everything I can to avoid a gator on the trail 😂
JUDS MTB u and me both mahn 😂
I’m with you I’m 🇬🇧.
These trails look awesome, great shots of the gators, i think i would be a tad worried though haha :)
Another great watch bkxc🤘plus you managed to finally see a gator 😀
Features and Fun is why we ride!
Rabbit ears = fun, great place to warm up for the trails.
I've been waiting for BKXC to highlight these trails granted Single track has shown these but I'm still happy!
Wow those are some dope trails, they look so tight. Must be cool riding those ridge lines.
I’m fallin’ love with this place😍
Glad you have fun.Markam is the best in Fort Lauderdale, Quiete water park and Delray park are excellent for quick cardio. You should have passed by, I heard there is a Fl.Panther cruising around this areas😖.
Awesome vid, I love Alafia the adult playground. Looks like you're riding harder! Makes the video more exciting to watch! 🐊
Great video of alifia I ride it or boyette weekly. Nice to see Florida on the channel.
Props on clearing the gatorback on Gatorback. That thing is tough.
Thanks!!
Love the Florida series, chuffed you saw your Gators...bit different to dodging the odd rabbit in Yorkshire 😂
Haha yep!
Nice trails. Some short but fun. Them bars still. Looks like ya had lots of fun.
Another must ride trail in Florida is Graham Swamp. I like it better than Santos. Also Mala Compra is only a few miles from Graham Swamp.
Yes! I'm riding both these Friday, then u have to get the Captains BBQ at mala compra after riding. Idk why no one knows about these trails, both are gnarly and great
Thomas Mitchell yes sir. I always get the turkey sandwich. Has the Cajun claw on it. So fucking good.
Freaking great video man! My buddy and i just got back from alafia 💪💯 haven't been in 5 years and I'm super thrilled with all the upgrades they've done on all the trails 🤙

Awesome video, thanks!
The audio quality was super good on this one. Could here every creak and tyre slide! Gators are cool too.
Magic forest, nice.
mann the trails look like they're from another age! sick ride bro!
Jurassic MTB!
Alway so much fun, keep ripping & riding and Live-Life-Loud🤘🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
I got a recommendation for a place in Florida, go to Balm Boyette, its like 15 minutes away from Alafia.
Ridgeline might have been closed because of the rain.
Balm Boyette is basically like Alafia's little brother lol. It's pretty nice, don't get me wrong but all the big and flashy stuff is gonna be in Alafia

Hahaha that's great
Well done again Brian. I like the sessioning and perfect terrain for a single speed hard tail with flat pedals :D
Hahaha thanks Jeremy!
You need to check out Palm Coast Trails like Graham Swamp and Mala Compra North of Daytona Beach Florida Great video.
Thank you for the another great vlog . 😀😀😀
I love FLA... I’ll be back soon to hit Santos in OCF after Sea Otter. I’m ready for the snow to melt to ride Tahoe again.
Keep Rocking it Brain...
Dave
Thank God for all the phosphate mines in FL. That's the only reason there are trails like Alafia lol
Awsome Orbea bike and great ride! Added to my bucket list :-)... I mean, for when I become a better rider!
You can make a basic but useful derailleur hanger alignment tool for $10-15. There's even a tutorial on YT. But it's always good to have an extra hanger or two for out on the trails.
Oh wow, never thought of that!
I'm spoiled with this place being so close to me 😁
100%!! it's so cool
I'll be there in 2 weeks 🤘
Once again thanks my friend. Your videos are always badass! Do ever ride in Oregon?
Looks fun!!!
You had the chance and missed it! Trail-i-gators!!!! Anyways great videos and i love to see what you do next! Very big inspiration!
Jumping is the hardest - I'm 48 and I still can't haha
You know what is the difference between BXXC 's channel and others that he replies and loves every comment . Other's don't reply or like an comment . Hey bro when you got 1 million subscribe's don't forget us . 😀😀
Haha thanks man
Gator!!!!! Nice riding, cool location.
New life goal is to ride these trails... thanks
Trails look really great, but it scares the crap out of me watching you there.
Mr Tonka - Why didn't you hit that Swamp gap? Geoff from Two Broke Spokes and I were just talking about us old folks and the Swamp Gap yesterday hahaha
Because the risk vs reward ratio is backwards with that one. haha
@@MrTonka Ha, true that. We did the math and figured that's a 100% or 50% jump. You gotta make it 100%, there is no 80% with a case, 80% down to about 60% is front tire first in to a wall, but 50% is a splash in the water.
Flatwoods MTB wow that was confusing
When my youngest son gets his new Trance Jr we are heading straight for Alifia!!! Vipers out!
Its funny how he finds 23 degrees c hot when that is perfect for a cool day
If you want to explore some other trails maybe think about hitting up the grape fruit trails in palm bay fl
Nice wildlife and awesome trails.
Wow look at those gators dude all you need now is a mountain lion on video lol!
Haha yep!!
You should come to the east coast of Florida and hit up Graham Swamp.
And cloud 9 at mala compra
I was down there a couple weeks ago for a few days and saw at least 5 guys land that jump on their front wheel so don't feel bad. I'm bummed you didn't go to Balm I think you would have liked it the most.
Great stuff buddy 😉 enjoyed so glad you didn't fly in the swamp with them 🐊🐊🐊 🖖🖖
This HAS to be a directional trail. Imagine someone going the opposite way around a switchback and it’s into the water.
Looks like you did the Frankenstairs at a low tide...high tide is scary right there!
Oh man, didn't think about that!
Great watch, would love to ride this. Have nothing like this that i know of in UK. Almost an OTB Brian, you're lucky man.
Great video Brian. I am also working on my jumps. I know I can do it. Is my mental limits that stops me from doing more. And the fact that I have 5 kids at home that I need to go home to .😁 stay safe my brother. God bless.
Very very true!
For the newbies we have a lot of double track in the area.
really nice..love it..
Thats some good flow riding in Florida. Going to have to make my way down from CT 😁👍🏾
We've got relatives in that area now, great excuse to go see them!
Front wheelin' the landing is the scariest shit ever. Gets my hands trembling.
At least twice i have had to stop on North Creek (the trail with the new wood berm) because 6'-8' alligators have been laying on the trail.
Haha crazy!
