Central European forests like these are the best for biking! Today I went biking to the Wolski Forest in Krakow Poland, where I live. It was 5 hours well spent!
I watch these and think of how much time you must spend on editing. I'm sure you have hours of footage that gets condensed into a 20 minute video. Thanks for taking the time and sharing your adventures with us.
Yes but it’s probably not as much as you think, keep in mind it’s really easy to start and stop recording with a GoPro (most cameras now adays) and to set bookmarks.
My father grew up in Polanica-Zdrój, Poland when it was Bad Altheide, Germany. Love the scenery and love the cycling!! When I lived in Germany I found it to be disturbing to see people everywhere and you could never find a place to be truly alone. I live in Alberta Canada and I enjoy places to be alone to fish and hike and cycle.
Welcome to Poland guys! The country has more and more singletracks each year, they becoming very popular. Try "Góry Kaczawskie singletracks". Enjoy the ride !:)
You didn't see polish side's Zajęcznik trail, so you missed out a lot. It's much different trail with more variety than what's been done on Czech side. Most fun is the black trail that is furthest away from trail head(CZ side), hope You saw it next day, but I'm very curious what of the extreme trail are in Czech republic.
Alright Brian, great start. I'm especially glad on your remarks about ebikes. Your comments were neither against or for. They were this is the reality of life. I'm of the senior set and the 65+ ok to ride ebikes on xcountry trailage I'm all for. It's a reasonable policy that keeps us ol'fogies on the trails and keeping us young. Plus, kudos for eating duck. Your willingness to eat local cuisine is a great topic add on to your travels. Good work!
Love that you are vlogging your activities prior to riding and after riding. Feels like we are traveling with you and gives us ideas what to expect when we travel next time!!
Im lucky my girl is from Czech. Its amazing trail culture there. Living in Norway its quite affordable to make a long vacation and not spens so much cash but still eat propper food. Love the Czech country side!
Aw good old eastern European food. I haven't been back to Poland for a visit in more then 10 years, but I hear they have amazing MTB trail systems around our mountain region. You kind of scratched the surface on the boarder. Great day one looking forward to the rest of the trip

Pretty cool! My brother and I are studying abroad in Germany now and have a full week off in 3 weeks, just enough time to do one of these trips. We are talking with the guys from Czech MTB about the details now. Never thought we would be able to do one of your adventures. This one seems especially nice. Keep up the good content!
Totally get what your guide was saying, I've been in Utah for 25 years now, came from France, and the first time I drove through southern Utah it creeped me out not to see any signs of civilizations for miles! Awesome singletracks you've been riding on your first day!!
I have visited this trails a couple of times, and you video reminds me how great the trails are in Czech en especially in nove mesto pod smrken. So keep up the good Work.

Tears in My Eyes. - YOUR THE BEST BRO

Awesome ride! You're so close to the place where I live (in Germany near the Czech border). So welcome to the most beautiful area in the world ;) ! And yes, the Czech food is really inexpensive. BTW: The Czech Republic has to offer a lot of crazy lose, rooty and steep trails. Pod Smrkem on the other hand is known for it's flowy trails.
