Definitely with you on not going back to mass produced, store bought footwear (work boots, at least). Guys at work will do a spit-take when they hear what I paid for my boots, but I watch them replace theirs while mine just keep looking good. Nice video.
Very well man. Did a great job. I got a pair of OTs about 1.5 years ago. Sized off the old way they had. With comp toe and sure enough 6 months later I started jamming my toe into the composite. Rechecked my size on their chart and it changed significantly. Totally different size. Learning pains. I don’t fault them. I’m still kinda new to this stile of boot so love and learn. I look forward to getting some Nicks or Whites some day but there’s always something I have to pay for around the house. Keep up the vids.
PNW boots are tricky at first with sizing and I will say as much as I love my JK’s I believe they are the hardest to size. Nicks makes it super simple with their sizing charts now. Thank you for watching. God Bless
Great to see that you will be talking about PNW boots as well. I just started to get into them and like you said, once you start using them, you can never go back to cheaper lesser quality boots. I have Whites Packer, Nicks Urban Loggers, and JK Bison OT. Great stuff, thanks for sharing!
Absolutely. I love my PNW boots. Honestly I wear them more than any of my cowboy boots at this point even for casual wear. I love my nicks Ridgeline hiker for everyday wear. Thanks for commenting. I appreciate you watching. God Bless
I know the JK 300x is the lightest duty boot they have but I've used the composite toe as a welder for the past 6 months and they show very little wear.....normally after 4 months the steel cap is showing.......I feel you on the the non gusset.....aluminum shavings in your boot suck......great review
I’m definitely pleased with mine and even though they are their lightest duty boots compared to mass produced boots they are still far ahead of the pack in my opinion. Thank you for watching and commenting. God Bless
