Thanks so much for this video!! I was stuck as I couldn't understand why I could only select one note at a time instead of being able to go across! Thank you so much for the tip on Attributes! Cubase is a great tool but sometimes is so complicated, you need great videos like yours to be able to figure out these more obtuse features on Cubase.

cool breakdown...moving over from ableton and studio one to cubase...i didn't know how expression maps were played out in cubase...anyways, it's so 'intuitive' and easy, ceptin' one thing...and this has to be operator error....everything mapped as it should ...but while the expression keys or keyswitch change on host instrument unfortunately it doesn't change 'expression'...and defaults only to keyswitch 1 sound. is there a go around to override this error?

@@Johnmunstudios It is an expression map bundle. In fact I ended up buying it yesterday. It has more than 9000 expression maps from the most famous orchestral libraries. Saves a lot of time :)

Great tutorial! Silly that the output doesn't default to the input. Seems like an unnecessary step for most libraries.
I'm demoing Cubase considering a switch from Studio One. Studio One is not perfect, but discovering little things like this is making the switch less than certain.
