This video is a maximum cushion daily trainer running shoe comparison between the Hoka Bondi 7 and the New Balance Fresh Foam More V3. The retail price for the Bondi 7 is $150 U.S. dollars while the More V3 cost $165. U.S. dollars. They are both neutral road shoes. I ordered both of them true to size for me and they fit great. I hope you enjoy the video.

This is my favourite channel for shoes reviews
Thank you. I really appreciate it. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
I agree 100%. This is my go to channel.
me too 👍🏼
Thanks for the video. I bought the Hoka Bondi 7 and its great. I needed stability and cushioning, it gave both. Love it.
I'm so glad they are working for you. That's awesome. Enjoy your new running shoes. Have a great day.
Finally have some Bondi 7s arriving on Sunday to compare against the Mores. Mores were my top shoe of 2021, but the squirrelly stability coupled with the “flattening out” feeling on long runs and a few hot spots over 6 miles has me wondering about the Bondi. I loved the Saucony Shift for long runs, and I’d imagine the Bondis are the perfect blending of the 2 shoes. Glad I can always come back to your channel to answer most of my shoe questions. Keep running tall Tim!
Thanks Steven. I hope your new Bondi 7's work great for you. I appreciate you watching and taking the time too share your experience. Have a great weekend. Stay safe.
The NewBalance was PERFECT and stable for 2 half marathons at 100kg weight. Did in a time of 2:10. Very pleased considering my weight. I felt stable and still could pick up the pace after 10miles even tough the heavier shoe.
Congrats!!!! That's awesome. Thanks for sharing your experience in them. Have a great day. Stay safe!
I did a half marathon in 1:44:34 with similar weight. Shoe was Mizuno Wave Sky.
Way to go Mel!
I have a More 3, and I feel like they are toooo bouncy, tooooo cushioned, even though that I am a heavy runner.
I looooove your channel. Thank you so much!🙏🥰
Oh, I forgot to ask...if the More 3 is wide enough for me, would the Bondi be wide enough as well, or should I order a wider one?
Thank you again.🤩
I totally get that. They are very soft. I haven't been running in them lately. When I got 200 miles I felt like the midsole went a little flat. They are still soft just not as lively. Have a great day and stay safe.
I really hope Hoka starts making their shoes upper cooler and trendy.
I agree. They can be a little boring. Have a great day and thanks for watching. Stay safe!
Thank you for helping my make my decision on the bondi 7!
No problem I’m glad It helped. Have a great day and stay safe!
Great video! Just unboxed new pair and reviewed the bindi 7’s I’ve been wearing for a year. Sharing in case you or anyone else watching is interested ❤️
Hi Anna. That's awesome that you reviewed the Bondi 7's. I'll check it out. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
A useful comparison review for me. My Bondi 7’s are close to retirement and I am looking for a replacement. I was considering the NB until you mentioned the “wobbly” feel! Also considering Vongo v5, Rincon 3, Bondi X and waiting for the Bondi 8…
I'm glad you found it helpful. I've been wanting to try the Bondi X as well. The price tag is holding me back at the moment. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
What did you end up doing?
Hi, which of these two shoes would you recommend for someone with plantar fasciitis who will mostly be using them as walking shoes?
I suffer from PF from time to time and I prefer the New Balance Fresh Foam More V3 when it flares up. They are super soft and make walking or running much more comfortable. Thanks for watching. Have a great day. Happy Holidays and stay safe!
Great review as usual ! Thank
Thanks Manuel. I really appreciate it. Have a great day. Happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the review. Since I use my Bondi 6's for recovery only perhaps the comfort of the More V3 is worth a try. My Novoblast 2's are bouncy but I have no stability problems with them. Hmmmm.
Hi Ray. They are very comfortable. New Balance did a great job with them. Off you get a chance I think they are worth checking out. Have a great day.
That is very good comparison👏👏👏
Thanks I greatly appreciate your feedback. And, thanks for watching. Have a great day. Stay safe!
I bought both of these just because they were the only low drop shoes in my size. I work 10 hour days in a kitchen and they're both great. amazing shoes. they feel the the same but I think the NBs are slightly comfier. I suspect the NBs are hurting my bunion a little more but it's hard to tell. I wear them a lot more. then I switch to hokas when my feet really start hurting and it gets better.
but then again I do a lot of stretching and massaging when my feet hurt, and they feel better anyway. the shoes are so damn similar that I honestly can't tell which one is better. I like the NBs more, they feel better and I wear them more, but I suspect the hokas are better for my feet. and probably a better shoe in general. they're much easier to clean flour out of.
Hey thanks for taking the time to share your experience in these two shoes. I appreciate it and I know others do to. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
I run in the Bondi 6 and More V3 as well as the Nike Invincible. I prefer the lower drop of the Hoka and NB shoes for thick stacks. I don’t experience any instability in the More V3.
The NB More V3 was my top pick for max cushion daily trainer last year. They are a very comfortable shoe. Hey thanks for watching and taking the time to share your experience. Have a great weekend.
How do the sizing of the NB compare to the Hoka? Im a 10.5 in NB
Hey JJ. Between these two shoes, I found the sizing to be about the same. I went true to size in both of them. They one NB shoe that seems to run a bit smaller for me is the Rebel. Not enough for me to size up at all. Hey have a great day and thanks for watching.
Is new balance more v3 good for metatarsialgia? I m satisfied with hoka one one wide bondi 7 and clifton 8 , because the spot on my metatarsia is lowered on the sole and does not make a "hill" like all asics do (that was my cause of my problem). So do bondi and more v3 have the same sole geometry in the metatarsia spot on the sole?Nice detailed video!
I just put on one each foot and they are equivalent or very similar around your mid to forefoot. The biggest difference is the More V3 is much more cushioned. It's very soft and a super comfy shoe. Hoka (from what I've read) has changed up the midsole on the Bondi 8 which is due to be released this month to make it lighter and softer. It's one that I'm looking forward to running in. So, yes I think the More V3 is a good choice. The Bondi 8 might be worth waiting for. Have a great day and stay safe.
@@RunTall thank you for your detailed answer!
thanks for the review. i am looking for a cushioned shoe to replace my bondis. I am pretty heavy about 255 and am trying to do a half marathon in under 2 hours. I wanted either one of these for my long runs. Which do you think i should get? I usually select neutral shoes.
Hey thanks for watching. That's awesome that you are preparing for a half marathon and looking to compete under 2 hours is a great goal to have! The More V3's are more cushioned and I think are the most comfortable max cushion shoe for 2021. The down side is, my legs to feel a little more tired on the long runs than they do in the Hoka Bondi 7's. Between these two, I'd go with the Bondi 7's and if you like the Bondi's already and are looking to replace them, maybe give the Hoka Bondi X a try. They still have the comfort of the Bondi 7's with a little extra help from the carbon fiber plate. Good luck with your shoe shopping. Let me know what you decide on and how you like them. Have a great day and stay safe.
Hola Jose Alberto!
@@RunTall Hi dear Tim!
I am extremely sorry for the misunderstanding!
I wanted to reach the guy who wrote in Spanish!
Nevertheless, i highly appreciate your time, help and kindness!
If I could bother you even more, i would like to ask you one more question:
If you had to compare the Fresh Foam More v3 with a Hoka shoe, which model would be?
I thank you very much in advance, have a great sunday!
Best wishes,
Ps. You won't regret giving it a try to the Skechers Max Cushioning line up. Just bear in mind that the midsole is not Hyper Burst, instead has an Ultra Go midsole, which i believe it's softer but less responsive.
what bottom out mean? when you said the more v3 bottoms out, I don't understand what it means
Hi Subhan. I was attempting to describe how the midsole seems to collapse quickly and I was feeling the impact of my foot strike more. I hope this helps. Have a great day! Thanks for watching!
@@RunTall and you didn't get that with the bondi 7?
No I didn’t. The midsole on the Bondi 7 isn’t as cushioned. They are a little stiffer ride. Have a great day!
@@RunTall thanksa tim
My Bondi 7 beats my New Balance any day. Just ordered the Bondi 8 today.
Hey thanks for sharing Kelly. The Bondi is loved by many runners. I'm glad they work so well for you. I think you will really love the Bondi 8. Let me what you think when you have a chance to run in them. Have a great day.
I have been wearing the Hoka Bondi 7's for a year now and I wear a size 13 wide. What size should I get in the FFM V3....regular or wide? Thanks!
I’d go with the wide version of the More V3 if the Bondi wide fits you well. Have a great weekend!
@@RunTall Thank you, Tim!
Good day. How is the toe box on the Hoka? Thank you.
They have plenty of room for my toes. Hoka in general do run a little narrow but these fit me well. Thanks for the great question. Have a great day. Stay safe.
What about the glycerin 19 I think the weight is close to bondi 7, which one runs "less" hot, is more confortable for long easy runs and more stable? thanks
For me, the Bondi 7 feels a little cooler, and softer than the Glycerin 19. Stability wise they feel pretty equal to me. However, I do like the overall fit of the upper on the Glycerin 19 over the Bondi 7. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
Wow those shose look so awesome
Thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. Have a great day.
I wish the new balance website confirmed the stack height, I’ve seen and heard multiple sources say the stack height is 38 or 33, however there’s seems to be no way to know. Do these feel like 38mm or 33mm to you?
I share your frustration with trying to get accurate specs on running shoes. I believe that 38mm in the heel and 34mm in the fore foot is correct. There is a lot of midsole foam in the More V3. So much cushion and bounce. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
The Bondi run fairly narrow, even in wide. Would anyone recommend these instead for someone with a wider foot?
Hey Alex. Thanks for sharing your experience in the Bondi 7's. I appreciate it. Both the Bondi 7 and the Gaviota 3 seem to be more narrow. Have a great day. Thanks for watching.
2 months too late I know and I can only speak of the more v3 in the wide size. Would and have recommended the shoe to absolutely everyone for longer, easier runs. Run 25km in these every Saturday and couldn't imagine feeling as good as I do after the run in any other shoe. No joint pain at all, which at 100Kg is something I've always had issues with. Took me a couple runs to get used to the stack height as I'd never had such a high stack shoe before but it really is a joy to run in. Has really sped up my progression as a runner.
If you have even a mildly wide foot, stay away from every Hoka, even in 2E. The actual build of the shoe is narrow - the 2E only gives more volume. Go with the More. It’s WAY more accommodating (and more comfortable in general in my opinion)
Your reviews are always so helpfull
I'm glad you found it helpful. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Have a great day. Stay safe.
Rebel v2 was softer than both
I do like the Rebel V2. It's one of those rare running shoes shoes that have a wow factor. They are fun to run in. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
One would think that Hoka are trying to piss of Stryd users, with that little flap for the shoe lace on the front there! Irritating!
I get that. They are making it difficult to add a foot pod. I like to use the Zwift run pod when I’m on the treadmill. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Have a great day.
Horrible music !
Lol…. Hopefully you find the info good. Hey thanks for watching and have a great day!
Loved the euphoric uplifting music 🎉
