What about the height, or side to side measurements? Will that be a problem changing cv angles? Is that something that needs to be measured as well, and does this apply to rail kits with no mounting foot angles on them? The alignment being 1/2" off can be an issue for sure. This can cause vibration at times and also wear out the universal joints as well. You should try to get the alignment as close as possible to alleviate any future issues.
