To confess, I failed a few times to obtain my CCNA. And since the new CCNA is out, I’m going to learn the materials from multiple sources, which is the reason why I didn’t do good on my last exam. Others always tell me to give up and try something else but I have a passion on technology and I’m still motivated to learn the new CCNA to finally get my foot in the door in the IT Field.

sometimes it takes a few times to get it. Just keep on going and don't look what others have done. focus on you and do it the right way. go all in and you will be on the top very soon.

I failed all three CCNAs, then I passed each one on the second go. You can do it!

Hey Jorge, it takes BALLS to admit failure publicly. It's a testament to your character. You personify Hal Holbrook's statement when he said, "Man looks in the abyss, there's nothing staring back at him. At that moment, man finds his character. And that is what keeps him out of the abyss." Kudos for leading & teaching by example.

I failed the CCNA, CCDA, and the CCNA Sec once each. Every time I took notes right after the test in my car. I attempted to pinpoint my areas of weakness.
The paper they will give you tells you where your strengths and weaknesses are. Take those failed topics, and find the exam topics on the Cisco page, and review those specific tasks.
Don’t focus on the strong areas above 77%,
focus on the areas that are 30% 50% and 60%.
Make flash cards, work on memorizing acronyms for areas you are weak.
Practice your weak areas on packet tracer, and create a problem and know why and how to troubleshoot a problem.
A good example is why a vpn tunnel is not being established even if all the connections are good and solid. What five things that are negotiated could cause the tunnel to not come up in phase one? How would I determine the settings on one side and another? What do I do to fix the configuration?
Don’t let the failure hold you back! Adapt and overcome!

I've failed 3 of my questions after alot of studying. 2 of the 3 times was just because it quizzed me on the one bit that I knew the least about in comparison to the other bits. The other time was honestly due to me being ill prepared as a whole.
I really needed the encouragement, thank you.

Failed and it sucked really bad. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get CCNA certified before they switched to the new version of the test but I learned most of the topics. Now, I'm learning the new topics and I will get certified this year.

One thing that I did right back in the old days when I took my first CCNA was to buy real lab gears (routers, switches, etc..) I did fail my first attempt but again, I realized i didnt put time doing hands on and challenge labs, once I did, I not only passed, but on first job interview, I convinced the client that I know the material and can prove it.....my 1st day on the job, they had me doing ios upgrades and device configuration.....if you're just paper certified and never touch the real stuff, you'll be exposed in the workplace

Did you fail the CCNA or the CCNP? Because your thumbnail says CCNA & your description and you are referencing CCNP during the #Certpocalypse😉 (and I'm not talking about the other times you already passed the CCNP).

Your response was genuine. I felt that. 😅 Thanks for sharing your failures as well as your successes in subsequent videos.🙏🏽 People can relate to them and this also helps them.

Failing the exam is a worry for me, because of the cost of the exams. I am studying very hard so I can lessen the chances of failing. I work retail a low paying group of jobs. I want out.

The message is bogus. Ok, it is 100% ok if you really try and fail...try again...buuuuuuuut you delivered excuses: Do it or let it be, but don't use excuses and a cheesy sentence like "you can't win without failure" be an excuse for a "I wasn't 100% prepared for the job".
