  • Driving tour video taken on May 16, 2018 through the streets of downtown Montreal, Quebec. The tour starts on Rue Notre Dame before zig-zagging back and forth using Boulevard Rene Levesque and Rue Saint Catherine.
Original plans had the video carrying on but, honestly, traffic became such a disaster after the intersection of Saint Catherine and Bleury that we just plain gave up. Additional footage of Notre Dame and Sherbrooke Street will be published soon.
Montreal is a city in the southwestern portion of the Canadian province of Quebec. The city was founded on May 17, 1642 and incorporated in 1832. The population is 1.7 million with a metro count of 4.1 million.

I love how cars just stop in the middle of the road and think that putting on the hazard lights makes the whole thing legit.

There's video of Sherbrooke Street that I've yet to publish and it's even crazier.

Montréal is the real deal. No city in Canada even comes close.
Seriously, I never saw a city with so much passion. The rest of Canada looks so generic and boring compare.

@jojofromtx yeah, but the prettiest part is around the mountain, which is really the centre of the city. My old stomping grounds: Esplanade, Park & Pine, St. Urbain ... and the characteristic houses with the outside stairs (to save on heating costs).

Carmen Hernandez I'll be in Quebec City next month - in the motorhome though so I doubt I'll be touring around downtown much...
