- The Dunlop ECSTAR Suzuki Two-Seat Superbike rides are open to all fans. They can purchase a ride with a special ticket package sold by MotoAmerica (www.motoamerica.com) at all events. We do take walk-up customers for rides for a donation to our 501c3 non-profit Roadracing World Action Fund (www.roadracingworld.com/actionfund), and 100% of funds raised from the rides goes to our charity.
The charity's mission is to try to reduce rider injuries at racetracks by advocating for the use of soft barriers that protect crashing riders from hitting hard objects like concrete walls and steel barriers. Since 2001, we've raised about $2.5 million to purchase, deploy, and repair soft barriers at racetracks all around the United States. - Розваги
in our 20’s I use to ride on back with WSB winner #2 Jamie James
I love Jamie James I miss the good old days of racing
I don't think Jamie James ever raced World superbike mate. As far as I know it was only AMA and maybe around over in the UK but certainly not world. He was quite the rider with Vance and Hines
Been there done that at Barber. So much fun. Glad to see Chris is still giving rides.
Chris super skilled rider; was never worried about him-only about me not being able to follow instructions!!!
The first time I ever rode on a motorcycle was with a pro rider at VIR. Absolutely terrifying. I've been hooked ever since
I miss track days. Note to self win lotto
148mph at one point and in a slight curve wow!!! Cool
Fastest I’ve been was 170 as pillion it blew my mind but my dad was an epic rider ! Miss them days
There's no reason to believe the speedometer is indicating actual speed. For starters, the edge of the tire is much smaller in diameter than the center of the tire, so motorcycle speedometers always read much higher when the motorcycle is banked over. Motorcycles used on the track are also commonly re-geared for a particular track, which throws off the speedometer.
@@Gurn_Blanston close enough for me
Considering speedo reading error, I would say it was much closer to 128mph.
@@dr.jillalicecooper2587 I’m glad my speedos work
That must feel quite heavy for the 'pilot' and a bit nerve racking for the pillion! (You I'm guessing 😂)
100 percent; thank God the pilot was so gifted
Wow! 79 at turn one is pretty fast riding 2-up!
I think he said he came in 6th overall in the series one year and had actually won at this track.
I used to have a track day sponsor that allowed me to take my young umbrella girl wife out on track on the the back of my supersport-spec R1. She was only about 100 pounds, so I was still able to turn expert-level lap times, even though the bike wanted to wheelie more. She climbed around on the bike with me, and could nearly get her knee down when my knee was on the deck.
