“Senior Discount” @jarrodsplace3601
I have a lot of homework on “Senior Discount”; I haven’t cleared all the jumps that I want to with correct technique. But it was so much fun riding it with @kirkwithrow9598

I have a hard tail with 29 inch tires, just recently got new tires for it Kenda sport nevegal 29 2 20, love my hard tail.
@@WilliamBeaver-tb9nt that’s 👌🙌👌🙌🙌
@@singletrackskills6192 I live in Allentown Pennsylvania and I have the trexler nature preserve to ride, awesome berms and jumps and more. Look up the trexler nature preserve, it's a blast.
Looking good!
Here are the chutes in order of progression. - Disco Chicken 0:58 - Thunder Goose 1:51 - Mule 2:24 - Poncho 3:22 - Meat Pogo 4:22 - Swamp Donkey 5:12 - Hammer 6:17 - Apache 6:44 - Meat Torpedo 7:38
@@butchwhite8472 thanks for doing that!
Camera just doesn’t do it justice 😢
Glad you made a video of this. It’s so much gnarlier in person.
So jealous! Looks like y'all were having a blast
@@offdaystv you will get there; I know it!
E-bikes are for sissies and very old people. No one else should own one.
Yall are killing it out there! Definitely stepped it up this year! Some of those lines are absolutely insane in person! Well done fellas!
@@1212dsc 🙌 thank you
Loving these POV ride videos 👌
@@offdaystv 🙌
@@offdaystv when you come, “Dark Crystal” is better than “Microclimate.”
Those trails look so awesome
@@offdaystv want to come next year, you and Soon?
Why do you go so much slower than the little frenchy guy? 😂 Great video!
@@singletrackskills6192 potentially, do we need E-bikes to get around? That would be the hardest part is acquiring one of those
@@offdaystv yes e-bikes the only way to go to make it worth the trip. My first time I pedaled my muscle bike. Just scratch the surface that way.
@@singletrackskills6192 I’m starting to think ebike is the way to go for vacations. You can see and do more on one
Hey homie. I stubbled onto your HT video and seen right away you were riding a Banshee. This spring I built up my dream HT...Banshee Enigma set up mullet style and a Manitou Mezzer. I have not rode a HT for 15 years other than my fattie. I have to say this bike is unreal fun and I feel my confidence and skill has improved since riding it. I ride xc, big enduro, tech DH laps and lots of jumps. Anyway I just wanted to say you're rad, cheers!
@@justinvick302 thanks so much 🙌
Weather is looking good! Wish I was there! Y'all have fun and try to keep Lon in check! 😂
So goooood
Analog bike instead of muscle bike.
Are you still riding acoustic (muscle) bikes? Just curious as one older rider to another….next time I’m in Alabama I’ll hit you up to teach me some jumping skills…..
@@johnmccool6875 I only ride e-bikes now; I’ve earned it! 🙌
Great video and I ignore most of the advice. I am 50+, rather big and ride hard tails with flats. Tried riding full suspension a couple of times, but never found friendship there. So, I guess I don’t do much fast riding, I don’t do very technical or gnarly tracks, and I rarely do downhill tracks or bike parks. What I do is ride my bikes on natural trails, enjoying nature and the joy of mastering some of the technicalities those trails offer.
@@rofferdal heck yeah, all about doing what you enjoy!! That’s the point of bikes!!
Yep, nice fundamentals.
@@johndrake3472 🙏 made it for a bjj & judo black belt.
Good breakdown man! Impressive you do this stuff at your age
@@hughmungus7858 thank you
Youre one of my biggest motivators 🙏. My goal is to be shredding like you when I’m your age.
@@offdaystv thanks brother. 🙌
I’d like to see some “other sport” action on the trail. Ha.
@@butchwhite8472 would definitely be more “festive” than my riding. He would be surprised how I would be like a clip less pedal that would not release. 😂😂😂
Boulder Dash is such a fun trail… and long.
Yehhhhh
The air in the Rockies is so nice and crisp
Very well said my friend! Have fun and be safe traveling
Heck’s yeah brother.
couldn't understand the name of the other Missouri park reference you mentioned in your monologue......
Swope Park; sorry
kenvitatoe UA-cam E bike
Fast engagement hub!
We all know how badly cameras hide what trails really look like but you guys went through it so smoothly people are going to think that's an easy ride!
🙏
Thanks for the progression list in the notes.
Great job keeping upright.
This one looks scary. I’d imagine it’s 10x steeper than it looks too
It’s not as steep as much as the traction is not good. That’s what makes it so challenging: brake control in bad traction-like riding in mud.
I think I can do that feature. Stay off of it if it's wet! Noted!!!
Room service looks beautiful in the summertime
While easy trails aren’t my jam unless I’m getting paid to teach on them, ones like this one and “Slingshot” sure are pretty.
I've been able to check off every boulder ridge line/feature forwards and backwards........ here..... on UA-cam, just to clarify. What did you think I meant? 😁
You got me!
Well it only took 11 seconds into this video to find where I've been otb.🤭
...theoretically the brain does all the work... well I'm straight up screwed then!
😂
Cool
6000 series aluminum is (in simple terms) softer than 7000. It will be more likely to bend before it breaks. This is good for most people who aren't racing in competitions. It won't leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere. The 7000 series is stronger (will take more energy to deform it) but it will crack easier. Personally I'd rather ride back on a tweaked frame than walk back, carrying a broken frame.
I don't mind go arounds. I think it is encouraging for people to be able to ride what they can, skip what they aren't ready for. The beauty of a trail like this is there are lines for different skill levels. What I'd like to see is a small little green circle or black diamond sign pointing out the lines because as you've recognized, most of us don't even know where these lines are.
I’m totally good with go arounds. Only thing I’m not good with is the entire trail becoming a go around because blue xc riders believe they should be able to ride EVERYTHING. But there is always that rub when there is not enough go arounds and the whole trail becomes a go around. Yeah would be cool if like Goosberry Mesa, there were dots painted on the rocks to help one stay on trail, but the days of painting rocks are in the past. So many would be against that, and I understand that.
I did that line at 4:30 for this first time in your class
I did that line on the first try...... wait that was a lie.
Looks so beautiful out there right now 😮
Pollen is really bad; it hit there later than Alabama
I love that trail. I stumbled onto it the first time accidently one night. Literally on my first night ride in Bentonville. It was pitch black but thankfully I had good lights. It is crazy in the daylight.
I've got to get back out that way! I haven't been to Passion Play yet, but I heard it was really good!
Organ donors 😮
Nice video! Come light up this new downhill trail at guntersville, top to bottom no peddle challenge 🤙🏽
Im mostly on much more flowy trails, not that hard technically … But as you said, clip pedals are much more comfy to me on a hardtail…feet’s aren’t jumping around that much. My personal sweetspot on fork travel is also between 120-140mm (actually 130mm on a tailor made titanium frame).
Nice!
videos just don't do these trails any justice, they're so much steeper in person
There is only one on peak one I haven’t had the guts to ride, and another will be open soon that is the same deal.
