Diablo is for the older Lamborghini enthusiast, who enjoys the raw driving experience (rear-bias AWD, manual transmission, simple-yet-effective beautiful design, etc.). The Aventador is for the new generation who care more about speed and looks than actually owning a prestigious brand name like Lamborghini. You'll find that Diablo, Countach, and Miura owners are more passionate than Aventador owners... mainly because Aventadors are so easy can drive, anybody can buy them and drive them.

Man, I'd take this over a Murcielago any day.
I had the privilege to drive many exotics on the race track(very carefully), I loved driving the diablo, the one i drove was a 99 and was not awd. The chassis and brakes are superb and the rwd version handles really well. Lambos have so much road noise I don't know why you would bother to put a stereo in it, especially if you are going to listen to bryan adams. The v12 is underpowered when you compare to other exotics even prod cars. Supras were passing me on the straight aways.
Difference between american and european cars. Today americans still can`t catch this 15 year old car`s performance, mechanic, looking, sound.....

+ilikerogoue New? This is a Lamborghini Diablo, left production line 15 years ago and have no idea what the price tag was back then. But my point is different, I am comparing Europe`s 15 years old technology and today`s American technology.
If you are talking about Aventador or Huracan, yes they are way more expensive then American cars, but I think it worth every single penny. Probably you will say, numbers are almost the same 0-100 or top speed, does it make any sense to pay double amount just for extra 50 km/h or 10 seconds better time lap; I would say.....?????? I would go speechless man.
If I were a millionaire, I would definitely go for Lambo. But the new corvette stingray or viper are not bad too at all. They are not for millionaire, but they are for hundred thousandaire :p

I'd never btw expect car old like this to have nose lift system. And in overall looks of cource this is the piece of art. It's made exactly for this - for looking and feeling good.

If I had the money, that would have been mine a long time ago -- she's one beautiful Diablo and the sound is just perfect, I hate a lot of popping from exhausts. I think it makes a car sound cheap and this car has the perfect racing car sound. I wish that I had a Lamborghini Countach that sounds like this. This is how a Lambo should sound " like a raging bull".

yeah this is a nice car i mean koenigsegg agera bug veyron..you would choose them over this but in terms of old school supercar fun and amazing raw sound heavy clutch which engages you.. this is a very nice charismatic car that is stil beautiful and a 1/5 the price of the veyron and agera

The 1998 was truly and purely the best looking Diablo including the pop up headlights that were outlawed because of some cranky politicians who couldn't afford one. Those Nissan headlights were a cheap lazy solution when they could've used Corvettes reliable pop ups or even Lotus'. That front bumper is disgraceful what a copout.
Looks like the rear wing create's lift...not good at 150mph, i'd remove it.

most beautiful car ever. They should make a homeless edition of this car in 2017 and sell for 75000 US dollars + tax. The exact same look and curves than the 2001 but with the standard 328i BMW pieces inside and of course brand new. I would buy. Now at this insane price and used, Im afraid BMW will have my money and not lamborghini. make a homeless edition and sell a lot lot lot more.
