Wait are small charms with lightning damage adding damage to the aura pulse? I thought they only were synergy for attacks of the auradin NOT the aura damage.
No. But they also use Zeal for enemies with high life totals

Can you make a video explaining how item mods work? Enhanced damage, minimum damage etc. Also maybe illustrate with actual numbers so it’s easier to understand. Like does 5 to minimum damage just add 5 extra damage points minimum, or does that number again get way higher because of other items and mods? Also perhaps explain the ratio between life and defense? Like how much life would a helmet need to be worth keeping if it’s lower in defense? For instance a helmet with 50 defense but 150 life is probably better than 70 defense and no life. But by how much? Explaining all this with visuals would be amazing. Maybe have a second character doing attacks on you to visualize the damage.
Never found the trophy room that interesting as 99% of those items are just botted and not self found.
Question: you mention auradins collecting 1-70 light dam charms, do they stack on the aura, I thought they'd only work on actual attacks? Or were u talking about the fast run/walk on them?

hands down, using ormus robes now for elemental damages on other classes gives a very very nice boost
The +min affecting your max damage has been known since around v1.10 LoD. This is why some people build an avenger by stacking +min damage.
Is this the same "bug" or is this genuinely new to D2R?

@@Bowazon The first one. Once your min catches up to your max, then any +min raises both. It's not clear to me if the item in the video is simply doing that. No stats or tests were shown that indicate something else is happening.
@@OsculatingPlane I made a similar finding in that I socketed a Lycander's aim with a 40/15max jewel, which went from displaying "adds 25-50 damage" to "+15 max, +25 min". The final damage is correct but the tooltip shows the wrong info.

EDIT: Actually this makes sense (kinda). I recently socketed a Lycander's Aim (which by default has "Adds 25-50 damage") with a 40/15max jewel, the tooltip displays +15 max, +25 min but acts like "Adds 25-65 damage". Interesting!
i can't recreate coooley's or your bug. i socketed a 40/15max into a lycanders and the tooltip displays 25-65 and the damage correctly. i recreated his armor in a couple different ways with the stats listed exactly the same as his and the damage on the character screen, the weapon tooltip, and the actual damage applied are all correct

Sounds similar to the war Travs glitch, where the item has +15-25, but it applies twice.. why I'd always use war Travs on my 1 hit zerk builds (1 hit 5k HP hdins, and 2 hit 7k HP shifters) war Travs didn't effect smite though, but +damage should ..

i can't recreate the bug you're talking about. i've recreated the aforementioned body armor with a jewel combination that fits those stats, and both the character screen and the actual damage dealt are exactly as expected

Actually the poor quality of the photo instead of PrintScreen is a sign for me that the data wasn't photoshoped or something. Because it's really much more difficult to falsificate something. I don'now if there is some falsification, but it's really ok.

I love the trophy room. But I play on a 100” projector screen on Xbox. I can do 28 steps to do a screen shot or I can just take it with the phone.

it's not true, elemental charms do not apply to radial damage auras, similarly poison charms will not affect poison spells.

they're still good charms and definitely worth keeping if they roll high, tesladins and dragondins actually benefit from them as a pure auradin build. it just doesnt help the radial pulse damage. theres no other charm that benefits radial auradins so those are the next best
Sorry if this was a bit confusing. They don't add to aura damage. But those builds use Zeal to kill things with higher life pools (hence the charms with ele damage)

hi i need help with a paladin build this is NL so no shiny new items for me
i wanted to combine auradin/tesladin/dragondin with foh so i maxed foh +holybolt (since i dont need FoHs singeltarget lightning dmg) and
i also put 1 p up to redemtion just for.... i know you could pot and safe 5p there and reduce the lvl needed to finish this build but cleansing is also nice to have , okey?! ;p
for testing dual dream ..hoj and dragon shield i maxed both "resist skills" and 1 p in salvation ..i am only 88 now
i wear :
coh for +skills/res to boost foh/hb/conv ect.

bk/raven
maras or highlords (i prefer having maras res)

gorerider
torch anni
ofc you dont have enough skillpoints to leave it like that with both resist skills maxed and max salvation and have conv at 24 unless u relay on other sorces of conv (infinity or other palis) but thats not the point
what do you think is better over all?
1:resist light = dual dream wich could be combined with hoj(helps with lightimmune) /crecent moon/hand of the blessed light(for foh dmg) ect
or
2: res fire = hoj and dragonshield with maybe dreamhelm (nice dmg and helps with fireimmune a bit) or switch the helm for tschako wich has +skills for holybolt/foh and conv ?
with this setup swaping coh for dragon if i am doing cows would also give me that nice tripple stack
if i decide on tschako it would reduce the lvl from 99 to 97 till i am done skilling and ok... -5 from redemtion we looking at lvl 92
I would run the conviction yourself over the merc. Also if you are relying on auras and FoH then melee should be second for you. LoH may not be necessary consider running trangouhls or magefist for the for breakpoints. Also a 2/20 ammy with tri res boots should get you the res you need. The other option is run the infinity merc with Prayer and put more points into salvation to run that as your primary aura. Unless ypu are looking for flat damage in which case concentration is of course the best bet.
If it were me then dual dream and HoJ+Dragon armor
20 points in fire res
20 points in light res
20 points in FoH and synergy
1 point salvation(unless needing higher rez/dr)
Trang glove
Arach belt
2/20 pally ammy or maybe even seraphs
Tri res boots 30%frw or war trav or treks
Raven/Bk rings
CTA/pally spirit swap
Merc with either conviction or concentration aura(depending what aura you decide to run)
And go heavy on Pcomb for the extra FoH damage.
Anyone can tell me I'm wrong here 🫠

gorerider are important for bosses/immunes so no trires there
with that u wont reach max res without coh so coh it is and u will need the 2skills for foh dmg and ar on zeal or any other 1p wonder it basicly puts ur lvl required to finish this build down since it is a 99 build otherwise zeal is used to kill bosses since it deploys more dps than foh or holybolt on boses Loh is totaly free to switch and comes only in handy at bossfights with imunes or ut ..everything else dies after 1-2 fohs anyway wich is 99% of all enemies same goes for drac and lifetab (only for ut)
not skilling salvation or just 1p is also no good choice u cut down ur dmg even more
my problem is also not how i skill as i mentioned the skills for know was just to compare holyfire with shock but the diffrences are not realy noticable
u could also run a cta with redemtion so u save those 5p on top
as much as i want to run a full auradin as u sugested it would make this build worse since u lacking 3 points

especialy when i use crecent moon pb but using hoj or death or something works fine and helps with imunes that cant be broken

and i could run cows who are imune to foh /hb with triple stack aura wich let me clear cows in 2 min
i know tesladin/foh works great
but drag/hoj sounds like having some more advantages

@gn8moon ah, I must have misread. I thought you were attempting the gimmick auradin with FoH running full bore into the elemental and magic damage. If you are planning on using the zeal and meleeing down enemies as well (i.e., bosses and such), then yeah, I would pick either or. Foe holy fire you can get the triple proc with dragon shield and armor with HoJ then you can run a flickering flame helm for plus fire skills(doesn't do much to help damage of holy fire) and the negative fire res. Though a better option would for sure be a 2/20/30 2os pally circ(you know the God rolls lol) with 2 5/5 fire facets. LoH and lavagout are great options at this point for either extra damage to demons or the extra firedamage with the ias aludrs boots are a pretty good compliment as well but for philysical I would for sure go with gore riders or even an Upped pair of Goblin toe.
Amulet could be better suited to the Maras for the res boost, but if you don't have the fear and feel like getting the setup a treachery on swap for the fade proc is niche.
The full build is for sure very expensive. With the FoH the only real worry you will have is the act two shamans that receive the undead and all that fire proc from holy fire being at I think 44 with triple tic range? Will nuke them easy.
@gn8moon I'm currently running a tesladin on ladder and have dracs gore's raven/BK dual dream grief and treachery
On swap it's Cresent moon for AoE clear ammy is a 2 pally 15 all res with some life and ar(I think) belt is tgods for the str and defense I could swap it for arach but I'm not running the caster version of this my points are giving me the conviction aura as primary(hard 14 points) Lres 20 1 salvation 1 charge Max zeal some blessed aim for extra AR and the rest in sacrifice for damage oh yeah 1 point to holy shield too. Treachery can get replaced by CoH when I get the runes for it.
A5merc running Plague and Headstriker with Andy mask with a 28fire res jewel(still getting -2% fire res lol and soon a fort but for now glad bane

i had dual auradins too and trust me even with this "test"skill setup its way more fun for me and i even would argue its faster
u dont have to get to some enemie to hit them cause u got holybold and one tick and one foh and everything dies
its nearly like back in the days when u could bug out ur auras
i think i will go for the dual dream setup for now since i know it works and will try fire when i farmed tokens since this is my last free respec

Curious as someone who is getting back into D2 after a long time, have there been any good guides made regarding items and worth? I stopped playing when 1.09 patch poofed my Arkaine's Valor. Runes seem easier for me to figure out the value in terms of is it a valuable rune or not. But socket items, item stats, jewels, stats on jewels etc. I am really not sure what is valuable or not valuable.

Yo I vendored a 4os plate of the whales. Also gambled a 2 zon 20fcr 30 strength 37 light res other res life mana after kill plus other mods circlet on bnet. And tri res frw boots. 2os coa. Jah 2xber and close to a 32020 and 40-15 found a 5 fhr 5 all res sc my best finds.

Yeah, they are 9min/9max/6str mostly. As Coooley said, one was most likely a 8/8/6. Lastly, the jewels had +30 Cold Resist; which could have spawned on 1 single jewel having it still remain below lvl 30. So like: 9min/9max/6str, 9min/9max/6str/11cr, 8min/8max/6str/19cr.

hot lvl 30 armor XD couple rare jewels in it at least 3X crimson mod( 8 min dmg) + 1 joyful mod(1-4 min dmg) + some wrath mods(9 max dmg).........60% Enhanced dmg, 34 min, 27 max would be triple perfect jewels in it.....instead of ed though he used some 6 str mod jewel on all 3 which is weird with min/mac dmg but wtv

Took a moment-but it’s the best item I’ve ever created. That’s also the very first 80life mage plate that spawned on D2R-had it since day 3 of launch.
LLD is a progression. I can say I have been ranked #1 in the world in both POE LLD and D2 back in the day. I had items most haven't ever seen or heard of. My amazon bow was Rune Dart. I had a bay full of PERFECT small charms 3 20 20. ALL LEGIT. My LLD guys were 10X more valuable then my perfect pally builds. I mean 1 to cb skills 45 life gcs. ALL of my stuff got expired sadly. I had items that are RUMORS that people would say NEVER existed. Like my Eth zod bugged Shako. and I also had a few ZOD bugged eth items. For a short SHORT time you could HEL a zod and it would REMAIN Indestructible. THEN you could put in another jewl while keeping the item INDESTRUCTIBLE. Thats the type of things I was doing. I had at one time 100k FG and cashed out to move on with life. I sold like 50k to one guy for =} $$$. I had PERM Legit Armageddon Slippers PERM Fletch. PERM godly godly rare stuff that people only heard rumors about. I POE now. and its HELLA FUN. RUTHLESS is amazing... its like d2 or poe original. Ruthless POE IS AWESOME.
