What happens is that during installation you most likely changed the position of the potentiometer in the motorhouse. If you have the trigger in your hand, you have 2 sides. An idea would be to tape it in position.

Is there a chance we can get back membrane buttons for the new gen controllers ? So we can have an option to buy the paddles or the buttons. I think having both options will be a game changer and will also be the first company to do so.

Do you know what version remote you have? My guess would be it’s a bdm 30 since it’s not working. They haven’t came out with hair triggers yet for the bdm-030
My RB bumper is still working but not clicking smoothly. It requires a bit more pressure yet my LB is perfect. Is this an easy solution or a possible damage issue? My R2 works no problem at all
After the instalation the controller (motor) gives a tackling sound every few seconds! What can i do??
When will you guys make a version for the bdm-030?
When will u guys have something for BDM-030
Would this kit fit a Reflex Scuf controller?
mine has an issue with the micro not clicking and its not the lever that normally breaks its actually the clicky button thanks in advance.
What about the adaptive trigger function for supporting games when installing this hair trigger?
Is there a chance we can get back membrane buttons for the new gen controllers ? So we can have an option to buy the paddles or the buttons. I think having both options will be a game changer and will also be the first company to do so.
Thanks for your suggestion, but could you please let me know more details about your suggestion? I'm not clearly understand
@@ExtremeRate Sorry for the confusion. My suggestion does not correlate with this video but i was asking if we could get the option to have either back buttons (membrane style like the face buttons) or back paddles which we already have with Rise2 and Rise4. I feel like having the 2 options to purchase would be a great addition and also be one of the first companies to provide this service.
@@BaneIsAlive I understand now, thanks. We are working on a new solution for back buttons, the real buttons. Please stay tuned!
@@BaneIsAlive rear buttons are also widely used but they are tactile. We use them daily but as for membrane buttons companies usually shy away from them. Most buyers prefer the clicky tactile feel over membrane. I have some extremely lite 100g switches that feel similar to membrane but they still have a light click.
@@tonka8080 Hi Tonka thanks for your feedback, which controller are you talking about in your message. thanks
I fitted these clicky triggers, clicky buttons and the paddle kit to my ps5 pad and now it’s making a vibrating noise. How do I fix this please?
Prolly just gonna return cuz idk what could fix these tight triggers. big L on my controller 😢
Any plans on releasing a version with just the clicky bumpers? I really want clicky bumpers without sacrificing analog triggers and the adaptive response of the dualsense. If so, when ccould we expect it?
I asked, so far it's a no. I opted on buying a second controller for haptic games and having this controller for... Well apex lol
That's unfortunate, I don't play first person games with a controller and I prefer having one controller for all my needs :/
Just recived mine and i figured out that i ordered the old and not this one in the video, should i change it for this upgraded version or no?
Yeah I already did the rise 4 metal buttons on the controller that came with my PS5, I ain't going for this. I actually did 2 controllers that should have been exactly the same, same the 30 model, but there was some slight difference inside. Different color and type of ribbon tape and I can notice a difference with the feel of the analog stick, I haven't been able to find a controller with as smooth of an analog stick as the one that came with my PS5. Anyone know where to get the ones they ship with the PlayStations?? They are different
anything in the works for the bdm-30 board
This kit supported on third generation pads ?
I have the tactile clicky triggers but sadly the R1 failed after 6 months. So it needs replacing. Will i have to undo all the changes from that to make this work?
Es compatible este montaje con chip RAPIDFIRE BDM-010+FLEX????
Which feel better the standard or the strong?
I was considering strong 🤔
Personally, I prefer the strong version.
are you making it for the BDM 030 anytime soon
Thought about modding my ps5 controller but I refuse to purchase another extremerate product after the mod for my switch pro controller began not functioning right with one of the LED lights not coming on less than a year from purchase and reached out to the company and got 0 customer support on this issue.
Edit: thanks to extrerate's comment they were quick and eager to send out a replacement. Great company but their websites "contact us" link could use a update.
Sorry about the issue bro. Could you please forward your emails with our cs team to ray(at)extremerate.com? Thanks
@@ExtremeRate I went to the website hit the "contact us" link filled out the information and left a comment on what it was concerning and sent it through and it told me I would be contacted in a week. That was a few months ago.
@@taylorhession1905 I got your email and our CS team will resolve the issue very soon! Next time you have any questions, please contact us via email at info(at)extremerate.com. Sorry again about the issue bro
@@ExtremeRate I received my replacement! Thank you so much for the help, you guys truly care about the customers! Just wish it was easier to have gotten it resolved but I know how to now! Thanks again!
@@taylorhession1905 That's great bro! 😁
Would it be possible to go back to stock triggers if something goes wrong in the future
Good question!! @extremerate plz respond
Would this work on any PS5 controller I ask because I have Battle Beaver PS5 Controller
and for bdm 030 not have clicky ?
Will you guys be making this for the Dualsense Edge? Mouse click triggers/bumpers are the only thing that controller is missing for the fps fans.
We will looking into it when we have the controller in hands. But 2 paddles are enough for the Edge?
@@ExtremeRate yeah 2 are enough, I can count on 1 hand the amount of time I’ve used the 3rd/4th buttons on my RISE4 kit controller 👍
@@ExtremeRate nah i want the edge so bad but only 2 is a deal breaker for me
My controllers pulsating with a weird noise in both triggers. Any ideas? This is my 4th one I've done and the first 3 were fine. Cheers!
Also have this noise. Almost sounds like the motors are running
@@shaunakaburger got it sorted. On the side of each of the triggers is a board with a potentiometer (black or grey half moon shape) I had to turn both so the flat edge was at a diagonal. Really hard to explain but if you go to the extremerate community posts there's a picture of what you have to do. UA-cam won't let me copy paste the link Sorry

Is there a kit coming for the 030?
ExtremeRate > Scuf
Back panel last peace won’t click on everything else installed lofl
What's the difference between the "strong" ones and the "light" ones? Is it just actuation force?
Yes
My only problem is that after I finished my controller is making a weird beeping noise. Any reason why?
@@UA-cam_Expert. Okay so I was able to figure it out. You have to go back to both the trigger pieces and put the black circular gear back inside so that the white spiral stops making noise.
@@UA-cam_Expert. 14:57 This circular black piece has to go back inside both triggers so that the controller stop making noise.
@@UA-cam_Expert. You don't have to put the piece that was on top of it back. Just the small black circular gear. It should be good after 👍
Hi, after doing everything as you showed, I now have a mechanical warning signal what could it be or is this normal?
I want to do these and the paddles for my b10 version, but I am finding different versions. I want the mouse click feel which set is the right ones? I see clicky, tactical clicky ect. Help
Ok so far paddles work great and R2R1 feel great, L1L2 feel extremely hard to push in order to activate which is the aim button for COD pretty big deal. Going to take it back apart to see if maybe something in there wrong but anyone else have that issue?
eXtremeRate sent me new triggers and they feel a little better but still very little movement. Can you take the plastic piece off where the trigger hits the buttons? If so that might just fix my problem but not sure it will still hit the mouse clicks.
@@Jags4lifeJamesyou can try to shave a bit the insert to get more travel
These look harder to install than the original tactile hair trigger kit? Is it a lot better and worth switching to these?
It's not harder, and if we don't consider the lifespan of the switches, this kit is quite similar with the original tactile version
I have a hypr controller but im assuming they use ur parts why is the l1 r1 click buttons so damn loose/ wobbly? They literally rattle when moving the controller around so beyond damn annoying please help me to fix this i hate it sounds like a cheap chinese ali baba controller
Are the clicky hair triggers compatible with the Rise 2.0/ Rise 4.0?
Will you get banned from Apex, Warzone or similar online multiplayer, for using these triggers?
I did the mod kit everything works but now the controller is making a noise every 2 seconds. Any fixes?
Found it on Reddit but u need to turn the mechanism that used to control the black gears to a certain position tricking censor to thinking it all still there. Basically the cog has turned and controller is trying to reset it but can’t.
@@Rowdy_Maverick yeah I ended up fixing it by clipping the motors
26:52 is for the 20
This was so incredibly hard to do, didn't work somehow, and I ended up having to buy a new controller because I couldn't get it back together. Such a waste.
will the vibration work without putting the wheel and other small plate back in?
No, please don't do that
i need this for my gamepad Gamesir G7 SE
