However again, with the camera on you, people watching you, she did damn good at bringing that emotion through for the video. I agree, I think she would be a great actress, I think she has what it takes. She looks like she can get her mind in the right state to play out her part well.

When I was cheated on years ago it fucked me down to my core. I couldn't stop feeling that dragging feeling that every interaction with another person was going to lead to another betrayal. I was consumed by the primal drive to protect myself and my entire world view was tainted by that trauma. I finally came back to myself but I still have glimpses of the way it feels to be possessed by jealousy and paranoia. Meg captures that emotion so well - the tendency for one to spiral
I don't know how big Meg is in the States, but none of the people I talk to here in Britain have even heard of her, let alone listened to her music; that's a shame from the point of view that I wish her every success, but on the other hand I like that she's my little-known and not-so-guilty pleasure. I was worried that this album would fail to live up to her previous work - I needn't have troubled myself. This track and video is Meg doing what she does so wonderfully well …. dark, intense - no one does crazy like Ms Myers! Love her voice - a unique and talented artist, and rather pretty too … WHY ISN'T SHE MASSIVE?!!

This song hits different. Maybe because I suffer from abandonment issues, jealousy, obsession, and the true horror of what you think you really can do. Meg has all this in just the first shot of her face. I know that look so well. And I love how she overcomes it all by effectively flipping off the world. Limo, walking, dancing all alone after the bar scene. She doesn't need anyone. But makes it clear her sexuality is raw and will take the right man - even giving him the permission to tell her what to do. Insanely deep to me.

CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED.
I used to think Meg's music would bring out that emotion that she displays in her videos and that it begins to make you feel as you listen, ART THAT MAKES YOU FEEL, but now I think that this is how Meg already feels and she pours that emotion into the writing of her music, A FEELING MAKES ART. I don't know why I didn't recognize this years ago, that's what all my favorite musicians do... Their music is not trying to evoke emotion, the emotion is invoking the music.

Meg's talent and energy has no boundaries or limits!! I regret to say I only discovered her amazing music recently. Just going through her discography and the story of how she just arrived in LA nearly 10 years ago really speaks volumes! She's a true Force of Nature, and covers so many ranges and dimensions from brooding melancholic atmospheric tension to explosive rageful and visceral Dionysian energy and sensuality. All of her music is poignant and searingly honest. It seems like she's never content to rest with one style changing it up as her spark and intuition lead. Her videos are just as well-crafted as her songs are, impeccable. She could easily go into acting, and take on a lead role I believe! I love this one particular video which has such a Film Noir atmosphere to it. It's just wonderful to witness such talent and white-hot flaming expression infuse and shake up the music industry--❤️✊🙏

What are they saying at the very end? One of my favorite video's of all time. I cannot even explain the connection I feel to every frame, note and lyric. And I have not been in any kind of relationship like what is depicted here for over 40 years. Yet the first time I saw/heard this it hit me like a fist to my gut and took my breath away.
