I cannot stress enough how good this review is! The comparison to Macbook's display is the most important point to me and yet nobody covers this but you. Thank you so much!
It is truly a game changer. This is the first mobile dual monitor that is streamlined with a single usbc connection with power delivery and high resolution. I no longer feel like I'm compromising screen space when I need to go mobile.
I wish the stand let the monitors go high enough to be completely above the macbook pro 16" screen. I can't find any portable ones (don't need to screw anything to set it up) that tall.
@@JammyMunkyTech I bought one that seems to work well, might not be good enough for production but holding steady: FeeLazy FL11B. Will send link in next comment (not sure if YT will delete it).
que video mas relajante de ver con todos los detalles, te agradezco la paciencia de hacerlo asi sin hablar cosas poco importantes, gracias muy buen video. existe un monitor asi de 24 o 27 pulgadas? alguien lo sabe? saludos
Hey friend nice vid, thanks for the detailed review, a couple of questions. Is the full display mode seamless or is the middle bezel too distracting? thinking about a travel monitor for mostly spreadsheet finance work, but a non foldable 18" monitor seems bulky compared to this 15.6 lite which horizontally would be a 21 inch monitor. Any thoughts for this use case? Also is 250nits too dim for work? where I'm located I can only purchase the 13 inch base model and the 15.6 inch lite version...if the 16inch pro version was available probably would've pulled the trigger already.
In full display mode, I personally didn’t find it distracting. Although I wouldn’t edit a photo or watch video in that mode. However it should be good for spreadsheets, web browsing, emails etc. The lite version would be ideal for this use case scenario.
Would it be possible to connect 3 Flipgo to the new Mac Mini Pro and operate 6 separate windows via display link ? Also how much lag is there or would it be better to spread the windows across the entire 2 screens to avoid the display link to eliminate lag?
Does anyone know if this can display one screen spread across the two monitor both in A4 portrait? For example, to watch a Netflix movie, UA-cam or gaming? if so then I think this will be the clincher for me due to travelling / working away from home
I don’t know wait 18" 2.5k version or try this or try to choose 2 separated portable 18" 2.5k displays. difficult choice for me probably the most useful video/review that I see on this topic. tnx!
@@JammyMunkyTech coding mostly, with mackbook. assume that staked setup on vesa will be best for my neck this variant also will be good vesa compatible. keeps things highly portable but 15,6 scares me a bit but at the moment I use my macbook in front of me(on the vesa, my hands is right under laptop) and 16” feels ok but had thoughts that 18” with 2.5k will fits better

Awesome review - provided a lot of information not available in all youtube "commercials". Thanks!
👊
I like the idea of the magnetic stand in portrait mode - good for reading two A4 pages at a time.

🙌🙌 Yeah comparing it to the MacBook's display helps, as it's what I actually use to edit on

it would look cool above MacBook Pro, I'll see if I can find a stand

@@JammyMunkyTech thank you so much for your answer, :) i hope they do a 24 or 27 foldable Monitor

On Mac OS the screens can’t operate as individual displays, only on pc it can. On Mac OS a dual screen is displayed as one, as shown in the video
@ thx for the reply but apparently on the 16’ pro version it’s actually possible to display 2 different screens via the Display link option
cool, that's good to know
Does the 15.6 liter version comes with the screen charger/adapter?
That version doesn't come with a power adapter, it's sold seperately
very good review! I am getting the 16 touch pro!

Yes you can
does the model option have a touchscreen function and display 2 different device output e.g. steam deck and switch console ?
There is a touchscreen model but you can only output from one source
bro you dont need that did you know your ultra wide can do pip and pbp has a kvm switch ?
The ultra wide isn't portable
Reverse charge max 100w or 65w?
65w

Laptop hdmi to mini hdmi into monitor.
Charge your laptop with its own power adapter
