Great content! I've noticed (in my tank at least), that having a harem of anthias will help keep aggression in check. The male and dominant female will actually interject on aggro between other fish...almost like they're police of the tank!
The Blue Velvet Damsel is in a class by itself as far as agression. I bought one years ago because it was small and looked nice.
Initially it appeared to be a good citizen. Then I noticed in a description which I missed, it said they get very aggressive as they age!
Soon enough, perhaps the 2nd year I had him, he started bullying all tankmates, regardless of size. He was so ornery, he even would attack and knock down new frags.
Eventually donated to LFS. A few days after I noticed him in a community tank where, true to form, he was bothering ALL the other fish.
When I told the owners,, they said they would put him in with the Triggers.
A week later he was the sole fish in a live rock tank!
Always good content 👌🏽
Queen Trigger fish is on top of my list as aggressive fish.
Lion fish!!
I was hoping the clown trigger would've made the list. I know it's hard to add every fish with a top 10 list though jajaja
How about blue throat triggers? Have a180 Fowler with tangs and angels looking to add3 more fish
I have had a orchid dotty back who was a complete a-hole and almost killed off my whole tank super aggressive
So far I am lucky with my maroon clownfish she hides everytime I do anything to the tank
I have a maroon in my tank and he loves his anemone
Yo what’s up
