Fun fact! I came to see this (other pieces of arts at the Yorkshire park) with my mam who is also an artist, Mel Bacon
Why am I watching this?
How insightful. Great video. Can't wait to see the sculptures in real life!
Damien Hirst.Merchant Navy. Told young bro on parole.A story “if a shark stops moving it will die”?The whole Prison instantly knew of me.Traveller story’s.Sharks at sea became a conversation a while 1989.Stencilling cargo another subject (pre prison riots).Banksy later?Yea cons (prisoners)love to gossip. Also the best students! Thanks.Mac.
Hirst was the worst thing to happen to Art for fucking years.
They're horrific. Ruined the landscape.
When art is ugly rather than beautiful it does no enrich peoples lives. I does the exact opposite. It appears nothing has been learnt from the brutalist architecture of the 1960s.
I suspect this era of art will be known as the pretentious art movement in years to come.
