- Patients visiting a $8bn (£6bn) hospital in Qatar are welcomed by 14 huge bronze sculptures that graphically chart the growth of a baby, from conception to birth. Created by British artist Damien Hirst, The Miraculous Journey culminates with a 14-metre (46ft) statue of a newborn. The foetus sculptures sit outside the entrance of Doha's new Sidra medicine hospital. They were originally unveiled in 2013 but have been covered up until the hospital’s offical opening this week.

Achei lindo e vim procurar aqui no UA-cam.
Parabéns pelo trabalho!
Why is this controversial? I am confused. It is the growth of the fetus in the womb thats it? Not sure what the big deal is?
First, in western for the abortion and feminists, in Qatar, because it's the first hospital dedicated to women and children in the region and because it also has the first sculpture naked in the middle East
123 456 oh ok I thought was some abortion rights thing. I get that side of it.
@@williamcunningham6442 yes, for abortion there's polemic too

Lihat betapa indahnya !!! Wallahu.
Are the anatomically correct? Do they show our ancestry with gills and a tail?
Watched it again and yes! I can see the gill slits and the tail we no longer sport. Even so, Damion Hirst is still no artist in my eyes.
You still believe in Haeckel's Embryo diagrams? That's where that lie comes from. A hand drawn set of images made in 1868 deliberately faking what embryos really looked like in order to promote the idea that we somehow (unscientific) went through various animal stages during foetal development. Still in text books by deliberate ignorance even tho discredited by real science for over 150 years.
Teaching the whole process of the nasciturus maybe can help people to understand that a foetus is really a human being and that abortion ends a human being life, so abortion, in fact, is an assassination.
No
Firstly, you need to educated yourself before judging women. Abortion is not an assassination. The law authorizes women to abort until the foetus can be defined as a human being in conclusion before that date, there is no baby, it’s just cells.
And a man shouldn’t give his opinion on a woman’s body. It doesn’t concern you.
Well paid dear guardian 😂😂
Real art should not be contrived, his is.
Real Art has no limits and cannot and should not be define.
Matthew 4: 1-4 "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
idiot.
Fool.
