But this bad boy of British art has been unusually quiet over the past 10 years. The reason? He’s been sinking his money into an artistic spectacle that just opened in Venice.

The entire show revolves around, and is heavily dependent upon, the imaginative central theme or concept relating to a fictitious narrative - playfully passed off as true - of undersea salvage of lost or unknown items from the distant past that are brought to the surface, restored and presented as artworks. Neither this storyline/concept progression, nor anything similar, has ever before been seen or used as a basis or foundation for an art presentation. Hirst stole the idea in entirety from a London artist's January 2008 Work ( see link below ) and as usual with this brazen fraud, is attempting to pass it off as his own.
