While the new chicane is really awful, I can see why they added it especially since the Zarco-Morbidelli and Pedrosa-Savadori incidents happened back in 2020 and 2021.
The sport is a dangerous sport. The riders understand this. While I also can see why they added it, it’s really bad and ruins the track for MotoGP now.
One thing I also noticed yesterday when playing was that some AI like Foggia did start off the race with mapping 3 for 75 percent of the race then drop back to mapping 1 in the end that’s why the better starters pull away but then sometimes do not finish in the podium in the end. Foggia did same in Misano with me but then ended 4th
Theres a setting in the options which makes it so your camera doesnt change when going in the long lap area. Used this on the last one too because it was so off-putting for me.

Hey robo, can you confirm if Suzuki is really leaving at the end of the season? I'm hearing in reports about it. Also good race in the game. Hopefully that chicane will help in the crashes that one with zarco and Frankie was awful

@@CXT3406 Yeah I know in comparison to Honda and Yamaha, Suzuki aren't as financially successful but... interesting to see what will happen. Mir to HRC, where does that leave Pol? Maybe Taka Nakagami goes and Pol goes to satellite Honda? Will Aprillia take the two remaining positions? I can't see Dovi staying in Yam for another season so do they promote someone from Moto2? What about if and when Toprak comes over. All very interesting futures.

It's not about safety. Nobody was going to die. The riders just have to be sensible and the motogp riders are. A rider who crashes and stays in the middle of the track will still be killed when a bike rides over him chicane or not.
Doesn’t ruin the first part of the lap at all, its not a 4 gear awesome corner it’s replaced, it’s a straight. And it’s nowhere near as bad as the journos feared, then we go and immediately tell ourselves it’s that bad first time we see it because they said so. It’s actually quite flowing
@@ROBO46 On a different note, I’m sure you’ve probably mentioned in another video, but why, and when is it changing, is almost all MotoGP liveries in the game from 2021? Did they do this last year too?? It’s horrendous, only new MotoGP teams have the latest livery. Same goes for Ajo, aspar etc etc in other classes. VisionTrack is totally wrong, VR46 so totally wrong. I don’t get it.

Looking back at the Zarco-Morbidelli crash it's a miracle nobody died. I'm glad it's there. Better to have a bad chicane than a dead rider.
Pedrosa-Savadori happened at the exit of the first hairpin, not the back straight. The one regarding Zarco-Morbidelli. It's spot on.
