- I start my way to Addis Ababa, from Bahir dar. For the first stage, I go to a small city called Injibara. On the way, I have lunch in a very small town, where I meet friendly people, and during the afternoon, I find myself escorted by a huge crowd of kids. Finally, I arrive in Injibara, at 2600 meters of altitude, exhausted.

👍One of the best documentary 👋🙏🇮🇳
Who knew that was so much greenery...I always thought Ethiopia was mostly desert. What incredible people...I'm sure you will miss the people the most.
Yes, the people make Ethiopia so special
@alexsoto9520 Most of this people are just trying to live the next day. In any big city you will find scammers or on thieves, sometimes much worst. But I did had the idea of Ethiopia as a much much more dangerous place.
Yes Ethiopia is so green
Currently, Ethiopia is going through war. @@argonauth
The “human warmth” you mention is one of the main reasons I miss Ethiopia so much. This is something rarely found in modern societies. Your videos are truly fascinating.
This channel is actually the best on UA-cam right now. Should have 10million subscriptions minimum
When i saw ant american person in Ethiopia i got scared because i have never seen in my life an american in africa but when i came to Italy and France i got used to talk, play, learn the language even if it is very kind.
I like them.

I'm so addicted to your videos Kino, it's like I can't wait until the next video, because you have a goal. With time this will become great content on UA-cam

Superb! The love, compassion, and care the people was showing you in the Amhara region of Ethiopia is a sentiment of who they are. The scene where the person was checking if you have water was very touching. God bless them.
Greetings to all ethiopian orthodox brothers from finland eastern orthodox 🇫🇮☦️🇪🇹
Greetings to you Finland didn’t know there are Orthodox, happy Palm Sunday
@@Black-lioness happy palm sunday. We have two native churches in finland: lutheran and orthodox. Orthodoxy was first brought to Finland from Russia about 1000 years ago. But little later sweden brought catholism from west. Nowadays we orthodox finns are minority in Finland bit we still exist. I deeply respect ethiopian orthodox brothers and we have some ethiopian orthodox in our church and they can also even have communion with us eastern orthodox even that there is still the theological problem but i pray we will be united. God bless ☦️🙏

Great running skills. They run like adults.
Big respect brother from Ethiopia
Magnificent nature, fascinating scenery. It's very relaxing vlog that summarizes both social life and geography at the same time. You're living your life to the fullest Yves, keep it up🚴🏼♂️🤙
Thank you for showing the beautiful people and their children. That, to me, is far more enlightening than seeing historical monuments.
Beautiful reactions from the people you are passing, I’m sure it encourages you on and brings a big smile to your heart ❤️
Enjoy & keep up traveling💪Ethiopians are like this ... happy to help, welcoming, friendly & open to anyone coming to see respectfully. That’s why most Ethiopians struggle to adopt to western society at first where everybody is private, calculated & less social to foreigners.
The people of Ethiopia seem so nice. I love your vlog. Stay safe, Yves. (side note: Ethiopian girls are cute)
😮

Thank you.
Made me smile Yves when you gave the child some candy, your channel brings so much into the hearts of your subscribers, be well.
Your attitude is superb, can tell you are truly enjoying it, anyone could've been annoyed by overly excited school kids following, but to my surprise... you took it quite well... Hats off !

Nice job Yves, I can see happiness in your face and the people around you, I have travelled from Bahri far to Addis long time ago, there are steep hills between Debrecen Marlo’s and Dejen, you may want to take a bus till you pass the hills,
Enjoy & may God be with you.
Ethiopians are some of the world's greatest long distance runners and, looking at this video, they start young ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Haha, I love your videos. Getting to see the local stuff, the places you eat and some history behind such places. I love that you added parts where the kids are chasing you. Not sure if its only Ethiopia but keep them coming!
Wow my brother thank you so much for your contribution to introduce our beauty city bahirdar
Dude your sending us them positive vibes 🙏
I have followed your vedios in Brundi but i watched this one again because you was very happy of cheerful greeting of the people at town. Evenif you were asked Money by some guys, your trip in Amhara and the rest of Ethiopian regional States was very safe and respectful. Kids are always kids. Our diversified cultures and old Christianity, Islamic heritages make us show respect to guests

Heaven??? Hahahahaha..... Keep it!
Your enthusiasm is always so compelling, uplifting and addictive. Here I am in the UK , and out of the wind its grey overcast, raining and cold but it almost feels we are there with you riding pillion. . Can I have some of the pills you take? 😎😎😎
Ufffff Ives admiro tu paciencia y tu buen humor con tanta gente acosandote y pidiendote dinero........................Saludos
Debre Markus is such a beautiful place. I think you would have a great time there.
I love you and adore you, and I hope you appreciate my love, O Ethiopia, your beloved from Sudan, my brothers, my country’s brothers, my country’s sisters, by God, I love you from the bottom of my heart. I hope one day I will visit Ethiopia, for which I would die
God bless you my beloved brother ; this is facinating ,in Ethiopia there are so many historical ,religious sites ..........monastry ,monuments that are built long times .........Ark of covenant in Axum ........christ cross in Wollo.......Lalibela hewen church that are carved from one rock...in 1100 a.c..........and so many places ......
Wow, the joy of these school kids in seeing you ❤
What amazing trailer. You are crazy but also remarkable to witness your resilience to make it to Addis.
Im Ethiopiann my Ethiopia ilovey
The girl at the reception enjoyed your well-pronounced amharic with ''ferenj'' accent.
They don’t mean any harm. It takes very little to make them happy. When they were running behind you, you should have thrown the candy toward the kids. They would have got busy, and happy picking on the candies.
this is so impressive, wow keep it up!!
Thanks to show me my country
People of Ethiopia thinks foreigners are rich, that's why they beg you,don blame them yves, and sorry for that, last but not least thank you for showing my country how beautiful she is
3:50 Hi Yves! I love it when you said the kids don't follow you anymore! 🤣
Buying sweets for the kids is the best idea

Living in South Korea was my dream. I watched too many kdramas and series like "running man" and more I even studied korean language for couple months But in the end, i gave up on that dream sadly
I’m so happy you love Ethiopia they’re genuinely good hearted people. Like everywhere else you might find here and there some bad people but you can’t compare them to other countries cruelty crime.
They love to share what they’ve they’ll do what they can I wish there would be a better government that will organize the people better they can use their imagination and creativity to build a better life. As you said please, do not give money to the kids help the one with small businesses if you can. They love and respect everyone religious people god fearing. I hope one day the nation will transform to better development.
Be safe wish you all the best in your journey. You’re definitely living your dream 🙏🏼👍🏼❤️
we are happy to visit our country ,Ethiopia .we wish you good news on your journey.you are very happy.and I see that the people of 🇫🇷France are happy because of you. You are free and happy . But let me ask question ,you don't feel tried Whenyou travel along way.
I remember being in high school and studying for CXCs, my neighbour put speakers out and play Thursday, Friday and Saturday.. I spoke to him on Thursday night. I did not complain on Friday or Saturday, but I spoke to him on Sunday. He said; a ghetto dis. I called the police. That was in the ghetto in Waterhouse Kingston.
But, I would never call about music on New Year’s Eve.
You gave some sweetie to kids and they dont gonna forget you ever...
at 6:28 the kid was talking about Gabriel Jesus at arsenal the brazilian striker!
