Hi there! As a fellow Ethiopian, it's so refreshing to see someone explore our beautiful country with such enthusiasm. I recently discovered your channel and your videos have really brightened my week! It's heartening to see that your passion for travel hasn't dampened despite the challenges you faced especially given the conflicts in the Amhara region. I'm so relieved to see that you're safe and back on the road again. Thank you, keep up the great work!
Maybe I have been in Germany too long, but he is not as polite as when I visit other countries! Most of the time he seems polite and i dont see everything... but i have to say it
Just met a guy from Ethiopia today working in the gas station here in the US...We talked about you, his country and he was excited about subscribing to your channel. I was happy to share because I understand the need to connect and see things through your perspective.
I have never ever seen a video of yours and by magic came across it and love your positive vibes in a rather dangerous place and bicycling to boot and no bad energy footprint, WOW!!!
I bow down to you, I think you are among the rare human being who can do this. Even by just looking at you im tired lol and also scare for you. Anyway you are brave and have incredible stamina. Hats off...its a delight to watch you....really.
@alex soto The funny thing is that even in developped countries you will get such issues. May be not throwing rocks but do not forget that their is shooting in schools. The nature of the threat is different, during the recent Euro cup, people were fighting....for what....for a game. So everywhere there are stupid and nice people.
I love living vicariously through channels like this, I wish I could do the same. Maybe someday when my kids are grown and self-sufficient! Vive la liberté!
You are truly a brave soul to go through the rugged highlands of Ethiopia on a bike. I watched your video from the comfort of my house, and yet I felt every aspect of your adventure! You are exceptional@!!!!!!
Omg I am speechless. How the tourists explain about Ethiopia and when they reach their destination they are exited, overwhelmed , happy to see the beautiful ethiopia. We should all feel that way. I am from Ethiopia and embrace I don’t know about my own country. Well I live out of Ethiopia so that say it. Any way I wish I can travel with you join the journey. It would be amazing. Am so excited to travel around next time when I visit my beloved country. Big respect brother. Good job and good luck. Ethiopia is not safe with current situation. ❤️
I m 56 now and like touring countries and I have been to 12 countries so far and just happened to see your video; and I was surprised watching you going through Sudan deserts and Ethiopia high lands with Your E-Bike! I am inspired by you and i am sure you will inspire a lot of young generation to visit there country and region with little expenses! Keep up with your adventures and advice you to talk to local authorities about security and situation of each places you go ! Hopefully one day I will see on your videos touring my beautiful country Eritrea!
Selm Kino. I stumbled across your video by accident, and I never commented anything on UA-cam. But i couldn't help it but pick up my phone and leave you a comment. I am a fellow Ethiopian currently living in Dubai. I was born Nazareth studied in Bahir Dar. I frankly knew very well the road you ride with with tricycle, and you took me back every step of the way. I, Benji, watch your entire video on Sunday. You are such brave soul to ride this road alone regardless of all the false news in all the main streem media. Much love. God bless you. God bless Ethiopia🎉
You are amazing with your own exploration, you are not judging but enjoying and having the good moments with these amazing welcoming and innocent people.. Thank you Sir 😊

It wasn't only the guy but most of the kids who'd stone visitors with no reasons. Could it be that some of them are sick and mad at GOD 🤔 The Baboons seemed to be more welcoming and understanding that he was just riding his bike and was a non threatening to anyone.
We follow your journey on Google maps. Amazing and challenging country you are showing us. You are a man of steel. Bravo and good luck for the next leg of your trip.

Hey bro, I appreciate your journey and you showing people a side of the world they dont really get to see. You were just in my country Sudan not long ago and I enjoyed those Vlogs. Sadly, since then the whole country broke out into war between the Sudanese Army & the Rapid Support Forces and they are fighting everywhere including in the capital city and causing mass casualties and destruction without regard for civilians. Hundreds have died already and thousands more are injured. I know the chance you read this is not that big but in the chance that you do, I wanted to say am glad you made it out before things got this bad. Pray for the people of Sudan 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
True, I never thought that keeping to yourself all the times probably draws more suspicious attention. Plus the nice people are probably more willing to step in when the bad people try and mess with you.

Salut Yves. I’m glad you made it safely past the gorge. I’m sorry the guy with the stone was causing trouble. I’d recommend transporting your bike across Oromia instead of riding. The region is highly unstable right now. I know you will miss some good views but there are plenty more in the southern part of the country, trust me! Anyways, I don’t want to discourage you, I just wanted to let you know. Bon chance!
