- Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger has commented on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's recent shocker of an interview on ABC where he appeared to have no interest or understanding of key economic facts.
“This is a very serious problem for Albo,” Mr Kroger told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“This has echoes of Gough Whitlam from the 1970s when Whitlam was Prime Minister in between 1972 and 1975. He became very obvious to people early in his Prime Ministership that he wasn't really interested in economics.
“Fast forward to today, there is one overarching issue in Australia today which is the cost of living crisis.
“People are really struggling. This bloke comes into these interviews today on Karvelas and then subsequent to that he clearly doesn't understand what's happening in America, he doesn't understand the numbers, he's reinforcing in everybody's mind I'm not really interested in the detail of economics and that is an absolute killer for him electorally.”
He has coverted the job his entire parrasotic career but has absolutley no idea what it enatails....Worst PM ever...
He should resign, he's out of touch

Albo is not interested in the details in economy because he has NIL understanding and has Zero sympathy for the rest of Australians who are struggling to survive this stratosphere high costs of living caused by Albo. Albo given an economics degree yet have zero understanding of the laws of economics. Proof of the dumbing down of the education for all these years.
He attended a Labor-run "University". Good at teaching full-phlegm face-spitting, but bloody hopeless at anything else.

As soon as Michael Kroger mentioned 'Albo not be interested in the detail', those terrible interviews of his about The Voice came to mind. What an utter disaster they were. He was clueless and instead of demonstrating that he was a leader that knew the subject, he went with the vibe AKA 'just trust me'.
After that, at least for me, he completely lost me. In fact, I started looking at his track record since becoming PM and it was dismal. The bloke is a complete dud.
