    This would be great for rotoscoping in Fusion. Is there any way to transfer the masks and their animations to the Fusion page in DVR 15?

      You might have already figured this out, but this video might be somewhat applicable to your question. At least the first 60-70% of the video: ua-cam.com/video/dxyHZnn1KEI/v-deo.html

    I have a kinda crazy question. Several years back I shot a scene with 30 lightsaber cosplay friends (lol, there is a reason this has remained untouched). Do you know I I could just replicate this process with nodes for each lightsaber?

    Hi Alexis, Yesterday I was using Davinci Resolve 12.5 beta for one of my video. When I put a mask for tracking, the tracking happens but the affected area is offset from the real mask portion. I tried resetting and doing it many times and it was the same. Since I had to finish my project ASAP, I moved the mask offset with the place I wanted to highlight and had to adjust manually for each frames. I did not have any issues with previous version before, Any idea why this is happening? is there anything I need to change in the setting to avoid this offset :( wasted more than 3 hours just for this yesterday.

      If you right click in your node tree area, select add alpha output, and connect the blue arrow your output, it will remove everything inside your mask and display what is behind it. Not sure if this is what you're referring to but I hope this helped :)

    Hi. Is it possible to adjust softness globally after mask was keyframed without going to every keyframe and doing it manually? This is killing me. Thanks

    this is so painful compared to the roto brubrush in AE , and the auto tracking is so much worse. Its a shame because I hate that there arent any good options outside adobe

    Hi Alexis, thank you for these tutorials. Just a question, which is the short cut for deleting a Mask controll point?

    • @Skasparoff
      @Skasparoff 7 років тому

      ha) me too can't delete any control point with any shortcut. The Pen icon on the mouse shows with the minus sign "-" but it doesn't delete the point anyway. Don't know is it a bug or...

    I know this has nothing to do with anything, but has anyone ever told you you sound just like the antagonist from The Siege 2 (actor's name Eric Bogosian)?

      Agreed, I was looking around for an easy way to rotoscope animation, like the look in A Scanner Darkly. This is not it.
