Fantastic soved the same problem on my car. the red 10 amp fuse was 100% , I changed it for a 20amp and bingo.

Great fix! 20 amp fuse though thats asking for trouble though! you can potentially catch fire from over heating wires etc.

Wouldn’t recommend using a higher amp fuse than the original. Something else besides the radio will be damaged if and when that fuse will blow next time. Use original current ratings.

Had a no-sound issue with my w212. I pulled the wiring harness and the orange optical, from the amp in the trunk.
It some how rebooted the amp. Works now.
I have the same problem with w212 can u explain in steps.

if the radio is pulling more than 10 amps i would be concerned.
hopefully the 10 amp fuse was defective and blew at a lower current.
2014 e63 amg w212 the stereo comes on and off sometimes works no issues sometimes just keeps rebooting itself, everything else on the car works
Same thing happening now to my 2014 A45 😅
Did u guys got that fix ? Mine keeps On and Of , on and Of , and know the On botton lights up and shuts down...

My nav still works, but not the radio. That probably means it's not the fuse behind the radio right? If that fuse was blown then both the radio and nav would be off?

So what was it? Did you need a new amp?
@@versatillion15 get an Optical loop. It was whatever module was behind my dash. Pull off the passenger kick plate and you'll see the orange cables. I plugged the optical loop into it and sound came back on instantly.

When it’s a “dead radio” does that mean I have to literally replace the radio already then for it to work? I checked the fuse already and it’s set up already with a 20 and doesn’t look blown, I checked the one on the side of the dashboard too that some other video said to check and that fuse wasn’t blown either.

Hey man, I got a 2011 e200, the radio turns on but no sound radion stations, and when connected to Bluetooth device and play music off it I hear the music playing for 2 seconds then cuts out for 2 seconds, back and forth 2sec in 2sec out, any ideas on these 2 issues? Thank you!

Usually causes it when someone does a battery replacement and some how negative terminal hit the + terminal. Check the battery pretty sure is not an oem battery in it.
